We stayed here for the 1st week of our married life! From when we arrived to when we reluctantly left, it was absolutely perfect! From the gorgeous private outdoor space, to the luxury inside the carriage, it was stunning and every small detail has been thought of. We will most definitely be returning when we can!
Lovely stay at Loch Fyne the site is excellent with the most amazing views over Loch Creran. The bothie is immaculate and has everything you need. The owners are really nice and work hard to provide a high standard at their beautiful site. The location is peaceful and quiet. Travelling around the area is great with lots to see and do. Oban is nice and worth a visit but quite busy with tourists. Glencoe is a must to visit and has the most stunning scenery very busy but worth it try and stop at the 3 sisters to get some amazing photos. The Creran Inn looks nice and there is a nice restaurant at ...more
Had everything you would need for a shirt to medium break ,spotlessly clean with all the facilities you would need and five minute walk from pub .
We were recommended Appin Holiday Homes by a friend, which I'm glad she did because they're in a great location to be able to get to some lovely places (Oban and Fort William to name a few). Unfortunately, on the evening of our arrival, we didn't have any power due to Storm Amy, not the holiday homes fault but there seemed to be no back up generators or candles. We also couldn't get hold of anyone on site to ask for advice during tne storm which we found frustrating. It wasn't until the next morning when we happened to be exploring the site that we came across one of the owners who worked t...more
Huge trip for us in many ways, this little delight in Appin was just perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer but had places to be. Would highly recommend either as a quick stopover or a longer stay. Thank you to our hosts
A really cute little hut, it was ideal for my one night stay for one. It would be cosy, but ok for a couple for a weekend. Ewan was very helpful.
Really lovely lodge, fantastic loch view, great part of the country. Lots of great walking and cycling.
Birch Tree Lodge is very comfortable and spacious. Some things need attending to, for instance, broken decking and a tendency to flooding at the foot of the ramp, nothing can take away from the beauty of the surrounding countryside
Despite being welcomed by Storm Amy we had a lovely time at oak tree lodge. The owners ensured we were alright during the power cut caused by the storm and were on hand but not obtrusive. The site is immaculate with lovely views. Overall the lodge was comfortable with all the necessary equipment provided. Hope to return in the future and make use of the cycle path which is on the doorstep. Thanks to the owners for their hard work.
This is the second time we have stayed in one of the lodges, they are very comfortable with the most amazing views. The cabin was spacious with everything you could need, we enjoyed sitting out on the decking and watching for wildlife. The grounds are lovely and very well kept, the outside facilities including the games room and the station are a nice addition. All in all a lovely stay.
Absolutely loved it,easy booking, clean and Absolutely beautiful surroundings, beds really comfortable and will definitely be booking again.
We had a lovely stay at Fox Den Lodge. If I had to give negatives I would suggest that it’s not well equiped for lots of cooking. Minimum number of pans & plates. Just 1 wooden spoon, no salt & pepper. No hand soap. So come prepared if you plan to cook. Otherwise a lovely stay for people who like the outdoors.
We had a lovely couple of days in Squirrel Drey. The location is great with beautiful views over the loch. The lodge is clean comfortable and reasonably well equipped. Would definitely recommend.
