We stayed in Cruachan at the beginning of March, we wanted a break that would be relaxing and allow us to get away from the busy world. The location is stunning, not far from Oban if you want a bit more life but far away from everything if you want peace and quiet. The views from the cottage were fabulous, we seen a deer one morning from our back door, we sat outside in the mornings just listening to the birds singing ( heaven). We just spent our first weekend at Cologin Farm Lodges & it was an amazing weekend from start to finish. It was all last minute booked on Thursday but the lovely Katie sorted us out with a great deal within an hour of contact. The lodge was perfect with everything you need including a lovely view, private outside area and it was immaculately clean. Had a wonderful week at Cologin as usual, great lodges, friendly staff and my daughter, myself and Skye my young dog always , chill out there and spend time at Ganavan Sands so Skye gets to play and paddle. We are usually up to Oban at least twice a year. Love it, recommend it to everyone
Wow. Where can I even begin. From start to finish our stay with Cologin Farm Lodges was superior in every way. Booking was easy and payment was broken up making a group holiday easy to coordinate and affordable. Communication with Katie was second to none and she went out of her way to provide us with tips and expertise of the area, as one of our party was planning to propose while we were there, and she gave us so much advice and was so helpful in all the planning. The chalet was perfect for 2 adults and a very excited well behaved dog. It was equipped with all you would need for a short stay. A perfect location with the highlights of Oban close by. I would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.
The chalet was beautifully decorated, and we loved the addition of the mini Christmas tree- very festive! We had two fantastic meals at the barn on NYE and New Years Day - the food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the band and dancing! Thank you to Katie and the team for a brilliant stay!
After being let down with previous booking elsewhere, Rarely do you find such a gem, location and accommodation excelled all expectations, already booked a return visit. Friendly staff, quiet location.
