Very comfortable beds and facilities adequate but would prefer detached property next time for more space and walls too thin!
We’ve stayed at Cologin a fair few times now however usually in one of the lodges which are fab. This was our first time in Cruachan. A lovely spacious large one bedroom cottage. Great log burner in the lounge with French doors out to a great garden area with added barbecue and chimenea. Fabulous shower and large bath. Also dog friendly which was our main reason for going to Cologin this time. Bonfire night is a nightmare for our dog and taking him here gave him a peaceful and stress free time as they don’t let off fireworks at the site and are situated far enough away to not hear anything ot...more
This is the second time we have stayed at the Cologin Farm house for the weekend to go diving locally and it did not disappoint, the farm house is very spacious and is always clean and tidy. Due to Katie been on holiday we were looked after by Linda Katie's Mum, who was extremely helpful with any issues and very accommodating. The site is lovely and the barn bar next door is always very friendly and welcoming, so well worth a visit. We would highly recommend Cologin to anyone visiting the area and will most certainly be back next year.
As always the accommodation was immaculate no issues whatsoever. Warm, dry and comfortable which considering the weather was a massive plus.
We booked chalet at very short notice. Katie was very helpful. We loved the peace and quiet of the site and having The Barn and an EV charging point there were real bonuses. The position so close to Oban was super for visiting the wee islands around the area - we were on 7 islands in the week!
We had an amazing couple of nights here. The bungalow is well equipped with everything we needed. The location is stunningly beautiful and quiet. Will definitely stay again.
A really lovely, quiet hide away in rolling farm land. Excellent walks immediately from the farm, with historic Kilbride and a walk to a loch just 1 mile over the hills, totally worth it! We went beginning of October and the weather was actually lovely. The sky was sooo dark at night and the stars were unbelievable!! Everything with the lodge was really nice & happy with it all... Staff were friendly and chatty, with the lovely Katie stopping to say hello and make sure everything was ok. Will definitely be back for another stay!!
as always a great place to be scenery great . very quiet and relaxing, local area very scenic ,and lots of restaurants to choose from
