The cottage is comfortable, clean and well equipped. It is in a quiet hamlet with little passing traffic and nice views. Two of the neighbour's peacocks came to visit us on the first morning. The beach at East Wittering is nearby where there is also a new well-stocked COOP for food shopping and a cas machine. Itchenor with its coastal walks and inexpensive parking has excellent sea views and is only a short trip in the car. The RSPB centre South of Sidlesham is about 15 minutes away by car - where there is good parking, coffee, facilities and helpful informative volunteers and excellent walks around the West edge of Pagham Harbour which we followed with a good lunch in the pub next to the lifeboat station at Selsey. In all, a good week's holiday.
