Fabulous break for all ages of our family. We all loved it and can highly recommend. We all really enjoyed the hot tub with the fabulous views. The children even enjoyed it in the rain! Excellent, we cannot wait to visit again in 2020.
We've stayed here 4 times now, 3 times in the upper apartment. We are four older ladies so have a bedroom each. It's so quiet at weekends a lovely relaxing environment for us to tootle around or just stay in and watch movies....it is spacious, clean and meets all our needs. With the added benefit of having our shopping delivered by a local supermarket just perfect. This is a great place to stay for all types of groups from families to everyone.
Magic location. Superb facilities which are well managed. Seating area behind these converted milking sheds particularly special for the privacy, ambience & views.

The location and accommodation are both second to none. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The success of the holiday is largely dependent on good weather as there is not a lot to do for children other than the beaches. If you love walking and seeing nature it is ideal.
Ger y Bae exceeded our expectaations in the unspoilt coastal small town of Cemaes. The owners, Steve and Jill, provided excellent information and were very responsive to queries. The house is well equipped, bedrooms are a good size and the children loved having their own tv in their rooms. Wifi was very good too. We had a great week and will return next year.
What an amazing week away during these surreal times! Spring Cottage was amazing , Ideal location away from the hustle and bustle of life! All the best beaches within half hour away! The cottage was spotless, had everything in it for self catering . More than enough space inside.Very comfy Beds and bathrooms! Felt very safe and relaxed . Outside was WOW !! One of the best self catering accommodations we have ever stayed in. We will return .
Clean and tidy. Central for amenities. Private parking for two cars. Everything that we used worked first time. Can recommend.
We are four mature ladies with specific accommodation needs. This was wonderful, all ground floor and looked like no one had ever stayed before it was so clean and very spacious. A couple of problems but property quite new and I'm sure they will be sorted out. A great place to stay and we will be definitely be back in 2018.
An absolute pleasure staying there it was spotless beautiful place and location deffo will be staying again
Absolutely love this place,Came last year and loved it so much. Thought I would book it again but take all my household due to us all being in the dumps with Covid . Everyone absolutely loved it and had a lovely week away in the peace and quiet of Cemaes. Until next time.
Everything about our stay was perfect. The cottage is in a very quiet street but a few minutes walk from all the amenities. Spotlessly clean and has everything needed for a holiday stay.
property had been looked after well, was very warm-- no need to use heating-- enjoyed visit. Owner very considerate & checked periodically that everything was ok. provided tips on how to use digital facilities & services. Happy to fully recommend taking this holiday let. 11 out of 10 score
The location is amazing if you just want to chill out and views from most windows are stunning lovely walks around 3 miles down to the light house , great cafe we sat there most mornings with egg and bacon roll ,you wont get better views ,the house is around 5 miles from beaumaris some nice pubs and restaurants , i dont think your find a better place to stay, happy days
We were made most welcome. The property was just what we required. Everything we could need. The location also suited us.
Caradoc was just the perfect place to stay, it was most certainly home from home. Situated in a beautiful place with local amenities including beaches within a few minutes walk. The house itself spared no scrimping on quality living with everything you needed as if this was your own home. I would very highly recommend the Caradoc as I would say it is one of the nicest if not the nicest place I have stayed in Anglesey and I have been going to Anglesey for many years. Just perfect and have already booked for next year!
This obviously new property provided us with excellent standard accommodation. Everything was clean and new. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bedding high quality. There were a few things missing, for example, we couldn't find a teapot or instructions on heating and hot water, but presume these were because it was all so new Thank you for a lovely stay
Great location for exploring Anglesey with good parking. Bathrooms abit tired, could do with updating. Kitchen well equipped. Lounge comfortable with great views.
Ideal location for a base from which to explore Anglesey & North Wales. I have mobility problems and the layout of the Coach House met all my needs. The owners, who live on site, were lovely, helpful people who contributed to making our stay a very memorable one.
We had a fantastic stay at the view. Our 3rd stay. Very comfortable with excellent views. Will be back again. Thank you
What a magnificent place. A child dream place running round a fort with cannons pointing out to see aholiday where children can be children and let there imagination run free. Chris is a lovely friendly chap and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely return.
I stayed here with my parents and young son for a relaxing break. The cottage is lovely. There are stunning views of the Menai Straits and a little pier right outside where my son went fishing for crabs each evening. At night we played board games that were available in the cottage. The beds are comfortable, there’s a choice of bath and shower and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, including a full oven, pots and pans and a dishwasher. Booking was straightforward. We were well-placed to get to all the sights around Anglesey. The beaches are fantastic. Lovely.
The house is between two beaches. You can fish for crabs off the steps at the front of the house. The house is in a beautiful setting. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are all on suite. Lovely bedding. The beds are very soft and caused back pains to my husband. Some of the bathrooms need re- grouting. Also the fridge has several broken shelves and a new kettle is required. The weather wasn't the best and a jacuzzi would be a great addition.
Amazing location, especially in the current climate. Quite remote down a quiet country lane but with 1 minute access to a 'private' beach and a short 10 minute walk to the local village with a lovely pub. (The church bay in, up a steep hill but fab views from the beer garden). Communication was ok the details of the cottage arrived by email a few days before departure. Cleanliness in the cottage was sadly lacking, we've stayed in a few places since lockdown was lifted and have always been advised of the stringent level of cleaning since COVID reared its ugly head and the new guidelines...more
Lovely apartment with a view to die for. Spacious, clean and well equipped. We will definitely return
All I would say there was no hair dryer which is understandable because of covid and there was no milk for a cup of tea after a long journey. We think it would have been better had we had known and we could have brought our own. milk was not a big problem but there hair dryer was. Also there was no remote control for the bedroom TV
Lovely house very spacious, had a warm welcoming feeling. Great location within the town, which is a lovely town with friendly people. Hot tub was lovely. Another key would have been helpfull.
Spacious house with lots of character. Immediate response when things needed action. Sightings of red squirrels in garden!
We needed somewhere to stay during rebuilding kitchen works at home so randomly chose here .... this turned out to be one of the best choices ever! The location is spectacular - a joy to wash up even, watching every changing mood of the weather and sea. The amenities were perfect for all of us including 1 year old toddler and a dog - both of whom splashed happily each day in the water right at the bottom of the garden (and this is in October). Delightful beaches also within 10 minutes' drive, We chose not to eat out during this difficult time, but cooking was no chore in that kitchen and...more
The location of the fort is stunning! It was peaceful and everything we needed for a Covid free getaway. We booked after our holiday abroad was cancelled and were thrilled to find somewhere to meet our needs and at a good price. The fort itself has so much character and was the perfect setting for a holiday . The layout of our cottage was good and gave our large family enough space . There was enough cooking equipment for cooking there everyday. However, the cottage is in need of decorating and a more thorough deep clean. For example ,the bath was badly stained and the washroom had no fl...more
Had a fab week at Llwyn Dona.. The layout of the accomodation was just right for our family. Great location with lovely walks from our base. Will definitely return.
We stayed in a cottage in Fort Belan for a week with a family of 4 (58, 54, 20 and 15 years old). We are campers but our experience with the weather in Wales made us book a cottage for our stay. It served our purpose very well. The surroundings were magnificent. The fort is made into cottages in a very nice way, with a good eye for detail. The housekeeper and the manager were available if you wanted to ask something and easy to talk to. We could see the struggle to keep everything in order. You could see the age of the place coming through. We think it's a big adventure and a lot of work to k...more
Great location, very friendly team, good accommodation and kitchen well equipped. Needs new beds, other than that we were more than happy with everything
The sea view is incredible and the house is very spacious. The garden and conservatory are great especially in good weather. The kitchen is fine but it is difficult to cook for 6 people as the pans are only small, a minor point but made a big difference for us. The inside of the drawers and cupboards needed cleaning, as did the carpets. Fixtures and fittings throughout the house are dated and everything creaks, again not a big problem. Large garage useful to store bikes, kayaks etc. The only real issue is the stairs which are very challenging and many people would not manage them. Take note of...more
We had a wonderful week in Fort Belan. We stayed in Dock Cottage - a very quiet, private and peaceful location. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and the views from every window are stunning. The kitchen has everything needed to cook meals (although the cooker takes a while to warm up - I am used to gas and a fan assisted oven). The bathroom is newly fitted. You can sit outside with a glass of wine or a cuppa and soak up the wonderful views The decor needs some updating, the double bed wasn't very comfortable and the rug in the lounge definitely needs to be replaced. However, t...more
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for our one week stay at Pumpkin Lodge. Perfectly placed for easy access to all of beautiful Anglesey. My only criticism would be lack of WiFi, but this didn't stop us having a fantastic stay. Many thanks Pumpkin Lodge!
A lovely property, beautifully designed and well appointed with good quality linens. It really does feel like a home from home and is obviously the owners’ pride and joy. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. A really good location for exploring the east side of the island - Red Wharf Bay, Moelfre and Benllech are all short drives away.
Tal Eryr is a very spacious house, and is ideally located in a peaceful location with lovely sea views and easy access to the beach. I say peaceful location, but it was a shame about the microlite (or something similar) which seemed to be circling the property every day for extended periods of time. The enclosed garden was great for the dog too. We did feel that the cleanliness could have been better, especially considering the potential risk of covid-19, and noted a couple of places where it didn't look like cleaning had been carried out particularly thoroughly. Having the living room upstair...more
We were incredibly lucky to grab this property at short notice for a week in the summer holidays. The location is stunning, right on the Menai Strait with fantastic views over to Snowdonia from the conservatory. This is a peaceful spot, dark and quiet at night, great for bird watching. The house is spacious with plenty of seating areas and a really well equipped kitchen. We found plenty to do on Anglesey and particularly enjoyed visiting nearby Newborough Beach. Coastal Holidays could not have done more to help us so we would highly recommend Coastal Holidays as an agency as well as the proper...more
The cottage is in a beautiful location however its tired. It appears that there were some upgrades a few years ago but there is some damp in the main bedroom around the window (the windows down stairs are difficult to open which doesn't help this situation). The sofa was quite smelly perhaps someone had slept on it and the lounge furniture overall lumpy and unsupported as was the main double bed.The cottage could benefit from new table lamps throughout and one or two in the lounge would be a great addition. The fridge/freezer is old and rusty and the fridge light has blown and was missing. The ...more
Access via a very bumpy track, but worth it for the beautiful location. Lodge was looking rather tired. Shower door didn’t fit properly and couldn’t close, but unit well equipped. Peaceful, secluded week, enjoyed it!
Good basic holiday accomodation. Would recommend having more comfortable outdoor furniture. Owners very friendly and very helpful Coastal Holidays were excellent. Would definitely use them again Thank them for all their help and advice
Clean and well equipped with unusual layout of rooms. Bedrooms quite spacious but no chairs provided. Comfortable beds. Lounge small for more than 6 adults. Kitchen OK but operating the cooker hob needed a technical degree! Garden private and secure for pets and children. Although there was no traffic or noisy neighbours, the trains on the adjacent Holyhead line and the jets from RAF Valley were quite intrusive at times, and we found the frequency and noise of both much more than expected. Also the boiler fired up around 6.20am every day causing disturbance to the two bedrooms on either s...more
