Cottage was well kept, had everything you could want for a perfect holiday. Beach was only about 5 minutes to walk to. Other seaside places close by .
We were searching for accessible accommodation on Anglesey and simply believe we have found the best. Perfect accommodation for our family
Had a fantastic time with elderly parents. Cottage was of a very high standard and so very comfortable. Great surroundings.
We have stayed at this property previously and booked it again as we really enjoyed our first stay. Our second stay was just as enjoyable. Peaceful location and nearby some lovely walks. Blissful.
We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed this rental and the area. During our 3 week trip throughout the UK this was our favorite lodging. The location was peaceful and felt tucked away in the country, but in reality was very close to major highways and sights. Our only recommendation would be for them to add internet. It is very inconvenient these days to plan your sightseeing or stay in touch with family back home without internet. We found that the towns and sights in the area also did not carry easy internet access, so this was the one and only drawback to this property. Other than that, ...more
We had a lovely few days at this property. There was a 98 year old lady and a dog in our party so we had a few requirements regarding mobility and security issues. This property met all our needs and provided us with a very pleasant stay. I would have no qualms about recommending it to anyone.
Very clean property in a lovely location with mountain views, not far from the coast. A good pub within walking distance. The owners were very friendly and provided lots of useful information.
We have recently returned from a lovely stay at this bungalow. The bungalow is in a great location and the village of Moelfre is gorgeous. The bungalow is very close to the local amenities and the area is surrounded by lovely walks. We were greeted on arrival by the owners parents who were very friendly and cooperative and explained the keys, hot water and garden facilities. They very kindly left us a bottle of wine and some milk too. The bungalow was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. We took our dog to stay in the property and the garden was safe and secure. When ...more
Fabulous cottage - extremely well equipped. Location could not be bettered with sea views from every corner. Would definitely recommend - plenty of room for a group or family of 6, 7 or even 8!
Very clean and very well equipped with towels and kitchen utensils. Enjoyed our stay and would go again . Thank you .
Great location for beach walks and handy for Holyhead. Highly recommended, the rest is dependent on the Welsh weather.
Fantastic cottage to stay in, clean and decoration style right up my street! Loved sitting in the sun room and garden of an evening. 2 minutes walk from the shops, castle and seafront. Easy to get to everywhere from Beaumaris. Parking wise we opted for a weekly permit on the green - super easy and took the stress out of parking! Definitely will be returning to Guillemot and Beaumaris for another visit!
Booked last minute for a short holiday have been before once again perfect holiday location in pretty cottage with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.will be booking again in the spring.
Tan Y Bryn is a really lovely cottage. Very comfortable and well equipped. The views are fabulous from every window and the upside down aspect works really well. The garden is great for children and dogs - lots of really nice walks-we particularly enjoyed the walk to Penmon lighthouse-then back to the cottage for an evening by the log burner. We would definitely recommend!
We had a very enjoyable weeks holiday. The service and advice we had from Coastal Cottages couldn't have been better, they were very helpful in finding just what we wanted at short notice. The lodge had enough room for all of us - 4 adults and two small children, although there was nothing outside the lodge for them to play with we felt it was safe for them to play in the garden on their own. There was plenty of space between each lodge so we didn't feel we had to keep them quiet ! There were plenty of lovely beaches and places to visit as recommended by Coastal Cottages.
The old abbey apartment is the ideal place to stay for two people it has everything for an enjoyable holiday. David Phillips
Very child friendly and well equipped cottage in rural location. Spotless and quiet. Ideal base to explore Anglesey. Rhosneigr is 5 minutes in car. We hope to return.
Another wonderful family holiday at cable cottage. The location is perfect for visiting places around the island, eating at our favourite restaurant or just relaxing on the beach. The weather was also wonderful. We will be back.
This flat is great, spacious and well laid out with plenty of kitchen equipment. A slight quibble would be that 5 people can stay in the flat but there are only 4 dining chairs and 4 chairs on the balcony.
Foel ferry is a large property, ideal for an extended family to share. The position of the property right on the Menai Strait is ideal, and the views are superb.
Stayed here several times and love it here. Stunning and peaceful location and lovely modern cottage!
The house is a great size, room are spacious. It didn't feel like a holiday home because it was furnished so well. Would have been good to know that one room lead into another on the top floor before we got there. Also would have been good to know there was a dishwasher so we could have brought tablets as none were provided. Info for the house and area were hidden and bitty with leaflets thrown into a drawer with no organisation to it, have that information in a folder by the book in the hall. One key between 12 adults was not ideal, no info on where the back door key was either.
Characterful cottage, wonderfully quiet, with great views and outside 'chill space'. Coastal holiday's management incredibly helpful... went above and beyond! Will definitely recommend.
WAS A REALLY ENJOYABLE COMFORTABLE WEEKS STAY. NICE WEATHER A BONUS.NICE QUIET LOCATION JUST RIGHT FOR WINDING DOWN. LINDA THE OWNER WAS VERY NICE.MADE YOU FEEL WELCOME.AS IVE BEEN TO ANGLESEY MANY TIMES THIS PROPERTY WAS UP THERE ON A PAR WITH A LOT OF PLACES IVE STAYED AT. WOULD CERTAINLY RETURN FOR ANOTHER STAY HERE. THANKS..... ROB LEWIS........RHONDDA..SOUTH WALES...
Lovely cottage. Very well-equipped kitchen. Tea, coffee and sugar supplied for arrival, as well as chocolate biscuits. Bedrooms very comfortable - plenty of spare covers/blankets if cold, although we were plenty warm enough all the time. Welcomed by owner and told how to put heating on if needed. Not many towels supplied - glad we took our own. Stairs very steep and treads very narrow - should maybe warn people as would not be suitable for younger children /older people etc. Overall, enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would recommend.
Belan fort is a real find. If you are looking for something different with real history, stunning surroundings with peace and quiet then look no further. Within a 30 min drive you find yourself in the beautiful town of Carnarfon with its stunning castle and beautiful architecture. Drive for a further 30 minutes and your be waterfall hopping in Snowdonia or swimming in fresh water lakes (wetsuit strongly advised) at the foot of an old quary. Truly magical holiday regardless of the British weather. Thoroughly recommend it!
Wern y Wylan Court was everything we had hoped for in a beautiful location - perfect for our family get-together. Plenty of space for children and adults and the hot tub was wonderful!
A very comfortable cottage. Good location . Had a lovely break walking many of the lovely beaches. Found some good restaurants
Lovely cottage, well equipped, clean (apart from some of the dishes in the kitchen cupboard) and comfortable. The description on the website gave the impression it was walking distance from pubs, restaurants and the beach - it isn't. It's about 3 miles away, not a "stones throw" by my standards anyway. It is possible to walk to a shop about a mile away, across a couple of fields containing some very skittish bullocks. That apart, really enjoyable stay, and as this was booked at very short notice, standard far better than expected.
Have to say it was excellent . Should have had lounge where fab kitchen was. Settees very uncomfortable cushions ripped zips didn't work. We spent most of time in kitchen because of fab views.evertthing else was good bedroom and bathroom excellent. If there's any very good deals going we would appreciate it if you would let us know .we enjoyed it. Just little things that need attending too. Gary was very good that took our booking very helpful .we would go back again if the deal was right. We are pensioners and dates don't matter to us. So let us know. Kind regards Mavis and tony Duckworth....more
Although a few hiccups with peeling paint in one bedroom and our arrival not expected due to email problems we had a very enjoyable stay at Dock cottage. The location is wild and beautiful with lovely views from all aspects of its situation with the tide reaching the back of the cottage. Spent hours just watching the variety of bird life feeding their young , exploring the unique Fort and Dinas Dinlle pebbly beach ( more suited to older families). Although isolated in location it was within easy reach by car of Caernarvon and roads to explore North Wales. We will certainly use the cottage agai...more
This is a spacious and comfortable house in a great location. Some of the fittings could do with a refit such as the cooker and shower. There is no wifi. The directions are not great and a car with low ground clearance will not get up the farm track without bottoming out.
Second stay here, a superbly located property with an unbeatable position right on the harbour. Spacious, well equipped (almost over equipped in TVs) and very comfortable with great views and pub and restaurant within very short distance Only downside is the irritable fiddly parking and the need to continually open and close the gates. Sadly the price for the equivalent week in 2018 has increased 60% so 2017 will be our last visit as we are now totally priced out of even vaguely considering it again.
The cottage and applicances are a bit tired but quaint. The location and setting are excellent and we had a great time crabbing from the jetty most evenings. We marvelled at the Carnarvon and Snowdonian skylines against the evening skies and how the jetty disappeared under the tide each day, to be revealed again each evening. I would recommend staying but feel the property would benefit from a bit of an upgrade - functioning oven (I don't think it ever got up to temperature) and a full digital TV to replace the analogue TV and Freeview set. We had taken Now TV expecting to watch movies a...more
This property was fantastic for having plenty of room outside and being able to access the beach easily, along with having a canoe to use. Inside it is dated and although advertises for 9 people there are not enough dining chairs. Kitchen equipment needs to be expanded as it doesn't easily allow cooking for 9.
we loved the location- very isolated and right on the beach with not a soul around- civilisation was only a mile away down the road to the shop though. we went out of season and it was very quiet. the building itself is a wonder but it is clearly a labour of love to make it all habitable and accommodation whilst ok was a little ramshackle- eg toilet seat that fell down on you all the time, windows that blew open because catch wrongly fitted, lots of bits missing from the inventory. But we had everything we needed and there was plenty of hot water, beds were comfy. No wifi and very limited ...more
We stayed in a cottage in Fort Belan for a week with a family of 4 (58, 54, 20 and 15 years old). We are campers but our experience with the weather in Wales made us book a cottage for our stay. It served our purpose very well. The surroundings were magnificent. The fort is made into cottages in a very nice way, with a good eye for detail. The housekeeper and the manager were available if you wanted to ask something and easy to talk to. We could see the struggle to keep everything in order. You could see the age of the place coming through. We think it's a big adventure and a lot of work to k...more
Lovely farmhouse. Log fires, piano, large kitchen, lovely garden, beds comfy. No internet as yet though.
Fabulous view, ideal garden for dogs, super location. Kitchen could have been cleaner. Bedding a bit shabby.
We had a wonderful holiday at Chapel Bank with our daughter, son in law and their 2 children, aged 5 and 2. The house is clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The kids loved playing in the garden on an evening when we returned from our daily jaunts. Chapel Bank is perfectly situated for sightseeing on Anglesey and North Wales. The only downside for me was the steep slope and steps up to the house, and the steep stairs inside, up to the bedrooms, as I am disabled. Having said that, we did know about them when we booked and it didn't stop us from enj...more
Set in any amazing part of Anglesey this lodge is located in a tranquil peaceful area. The lodge has all the home from home comforts and tastefully furnished. It is close to many wonderful places to visit and clean and cosy.
The lodge wasn't spotless when we arrived, it needed dusting and the bathroom needed bleaching but that wasn't too much of an issue. The lady who was 'helping' us was the issue really, she came round because we couldn't find the cot and told us the lodge was messy but she didn't give a shit as long as it was clean when we left. Whatever. On our departure we couldn't get the key lock to work so my partner took it to this lady and she asked if the lodge was clean and we said it was tidy yeah, she said oh no you have to clean it! Never in my life have I cleaned somewhere I have rented to stay in....more
We have been coming here for many years , Wonderful isolation!, Accomodation clean and comfortable but now very expensive for what it is. Owners very helpful and on site.
Glasfryn is a convenient place to stay for exploring the Llyn Peninsula. The property was clean and the kitchen was well equipped with utensils etc. Bathroom facilities were more than adequate for the 5 bedrooms. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The dining and living rooms also comfortable. The small garden was shared and was not fenced off from the track that leads to the other properties on the estate, the frontage allowing parking. The downside was that there was a bonfire going every other day close to the property.
