Extremely well equipped, scrupulously clean, with a friendly convenience store right opposite. Roughly 10 minutes walk from the town centre.
A cozy, well-maintained cottage, has all the amenities (including washer, cute backyard, only a 15-minute walk from the town center. Very nice!
This was my second stay in this comfortable flat. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The one negative point which might cause dismay to some is that the street is very noisy from late evening until early hours of the morning. Presumably younger folks returning home from social events and nightclubs. This is of course out of the control of the letting firm.
We stayed in Sivermills for our son's wedding and found the location excellent for meeting up with friends and relatives both before and after the wedding. It was ideal for getting to all the bars, restaurants and shops that Edinburgh has to offer as well as all the visitor attractions including the Christmas market. The flat was clean, spacious and all the facilities we needed. We came by car which we needed to help with all the wedding preparation, but I would caution other visitors to arrive by other means as parking was a problem. The flat is very comfortable, the kitchen provides all necessary equipment. Beds and bathroom are comparable to hotel standard. The flat (bath, kitchen and rooms) was clean on arrival. We found a lot of information about the history of the house and technical instructions for TV and of course internet. The location is near centre of town and station, ideal to reach without vehicle. We enjoyed our stay during four days.
