Excellent holiday based at Garden Cottage. Warm and friendly welcome by the owners, who clearly take great pride in their cottages and the service they offer to guests. Everything about the cottage was excellent, and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Lots to do locally, including walks from the doorstep, and within a short drive. We look forward to future visits and would highly recommend.
We were delighted to return to the Hayloft, and as ever, we really appreciated all the details that make this our favourite place for a getaway. There were flowers from the garden on the table, the smoothest sheets imaginable on the beds, and a completely comfortable holiday base with everything we might need (including an emergency pair of binoculars, as we had forgotten ours). Happy to be back at the Owl House. Stayed here many times and will continue to do so. Everything is provided for you either for a short weekend break or a week’s stay. The hamper provided is always welcome. Clean and comfortable with seating outside to enjoy the peacefulness of the surroundings. I am sure we will return again.
We loved the Cake House as soon as we arrived. It’s in a great location and perfect setting, we had views stretching across the countryside. The Cake House is on one level, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has every amenity you could want, including tricky jigsaws. It’s a five minute drive to Bempton cliffs, and Sewerby. Our only regret is we hadn’t booked it for a week.
Outstanding luxury accommodation in a beautiful location. We felt that everything we could possibly need to ensure an enjoyable self-catering stay was supplied and of good quality. Welcome pack full of local produce - a real treat. The accommodation app was full of useful information and added to the whole experience.
The Hop Store was excellently presented, clean comfortable and really top notch. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - as we always do. Well done.
We have stayed in Hinds Cottage numerous times over the past two decades, and consider it to be our home from home when staying there. The cottage is very spacious and is equipped and maintained to a very high standard throughout. The location is perfect as all the Field House properties are set in the peaceful surroundings of the countryside yet only a few minutes drive from the North beach at Bridlington, so you have the best of both worlds. Thank you once again to Angela, John,James and the team for welcoming us to Hinds. We look forward to returning next year.
As usual a perfect weekend in one of the YOB apartments. Over the last five or six years we have tried all three and it is difficult to rate them in any order - each has its own attractions and quirks, but the consistent thing is the overall quality and perfect location. And then there is the car parking, right in the middle of York. The only down side this year was that this dishwasher had a few inches of standing water in it on arrival so could not be used over the weekend and we had to rediscover the art of washing up! A small blemish on what was as usual a perfect stay.
I have no hesitation in giving top marks throughout. We have returned to Fieldhouse Farm for a good many years. The Fosters maintain the highest of standards year on year. Such a pleasure and reassurance ,and my family and I are always eager to rebook as we have already done so for next year.
Lovely spacious cottage, everything you needed was there. John Angela and staff always on hand if you need them, nothing too much trouble for them. Lovely and quite . Lovely location to get to other holiday destinations. Would recommend to other people. We will back.
Always nice to come back to Field House Farm. The Roost is very comfortably with everything that you need just like being at home. We always get a warm welcome from John,Angela and James and would recommened the cottages to everyone. We are looking forward to returning again next year. The Granary is a beautiful cottage with all the comforts of home but with a luxury feel. Everything had been thought of for our stay and there was a lovely welcome basket to start our holiday, which was very thoughtful. Thank you. We were visited by the owners, who are very friendly but not intrusive at all. Lovely to meet them. It is very peaceful with many opportunities for walking and being close to the nature around us. What an absolutely beautiful cottage. We had a wonderful stay. Everything you could possibly need is provided in the old dairy. So comfortable too! Also excellent for the places we wanted to visit along the coast. I highly recommend.
