The Hawthorn Pod is for 2 people,with a King Size bed. The Hawthorn Pod is our second Glamping Pod and gives you Camping with Style! The Pod is ensuite, beautiful and quirky. Enjoy your own hot tubt, and lots of peace and quiet. Towels, robes and slippers are provided and the bed is made up for your arrival. Underfloor heating, air conditioning, mood lighting, Smart TV and so much more.

Our stay at the Hawthorn Pod was great. The accommodation was brilliant, had everything we needed for our stay and the little welcome bag was a nice touch. The place was spotless, warm, had good WiFi connection, and Damian was on hand if we needed anything. The location was peaceful which is what we were after and the hot tub was fantastic. We will be back and would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous time in the Hawthorn Pod! Was absolutely spotless and had everything you would need and more! Very hi-tech and really a joy to stay in. It ticked all the boxes. Very peaceful and relaxing. Staff were super friendly and nothing was a bother. Would definitely recommend and will return.

We stayed in the Hawthorn Pod over New Year. Yes, it is compact, it is a Pod. What makes it so special is that it is beautifully appointed and feels luxurious. The clever heating system ensured that even though there was snow outside we were at a constant 22 degrees inside. We were so cosy that we had to turn the heating down. We would highly recommend

Fantastic location, out of the way with great views and close to some lovely walks with the dog, but close to Lauder for anything you might need. The pod was very comfortable and clean, and very welcoming, with welcome packages for us and the dog on arrival. The welcome guide was an excellent starting point for walks and local places to buy food or eat. The little farm shop was well stocked and super handy! We had a great time wandering the area and meeting all the animals. It was also great to have access to an EV charger as part of the pod, making it easy to explore the areas a bit further out without worrying about charge points. We had a great time during our stay.

We had a wonderful time in the hawthorn pod at Airhouse’s. The pod was amazingly clean, bed was very comfy and just everything is to a high standard.
We also got some of the enhance your stay things. The deli box, vegetable box, meat box for bbq and craft beers. All were great and so worth the money and we’re all ready for us in the fridge when we arrived.
The surroundings grounds are great. With lovely walks through the fields around or to the nearest pub which was just under 2 miles away.
But the best thing about Airhouse is the people that run it. Everyone we met was so nice and so helpful with giving us tips of things to do. A special mention to Damian who helped us out so much during our stay and made it so special.
If you are looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing time in the country side (oh yeah with a brilliant hot tub by the way and ponies, donkeys, cows, llamas, goats, pigs all to meet) then we would highly recommend a stay at Airhouse

We had a wonderful stay at the Hawthorn Pod. Communication before arrival was excellent, with all the information you could possibly need before, during and after your stay provided in a convenient app. The pod itself was super clean, cosy and comfortable, and everything had been thought of. Not only did the humans receive a delicious welcome pack, but our dog did too! Walks around the farm gave us the opportunity to meet the pet alpacas, donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs and ponies, which was lovely. All in all, a fantastic stay, with the only downside being we were there for just two nights! Would love to stay again.

What a wonderful week, had everything we needed and touchscreen for music ,lights, blinds and heating. The dogs had a great time checking out the farm animals and running about in the meadow, they say thanks for their welcome bags. The honesty shop was excellent for gluten free options and loved the pop up coffee shop. The hosts were great and very informative about the farm, spending time to chat. The hot tub was heaven and watching the stars was my favourite part. Lovely personal touch with welcome bag full of goodies. Will definitely be back.

This pod really is fantastic, absolutely spotless and has everything you need and more. We spent 3 nights here and honestly didn’t want to leave , from the pod itself to the location , walking round the farm in the evening feeding the animals then back to the hot tub to relax , then spend the rest of the evening chilling in the pod with the mood lighting set and the music playing( quietly ) we loved it and all I can say is the hosts were great from start to finish , made you really welcome and ensured we had a lovely break and wanted for nothing. We will 100% be back .

My wife and I stayed at the Hawthorn pod for a rare weekend away from the children. I literally can not express enough how much we enjoyed our stay. When we first drove upto the pod we thought it looked very small but when we got inside it was surprisingly spacious, with everything you would need and more. The pod was so nice and relaxing and the hot tub was amazing (despite the weather) we loved walking around the grounds and meeting all the animals.
We met Damien and his lovely wife and they were so friendly, welcoming and helpful.
We can't wait to come back.

Wonderful stay at the hawthorn pod in November. Can’t fault a thing, the pod & hot tub was extremely clean, it had everything we needed and more. The welcome bag was such a lovely touch, It was glamping on another level! The surrounding area is beautiful and views are breath taking not to mention all the friendly farm animals you can visit. Damian was very helpful and welcoming. Honestly can’t fault this amazing place we will definitely be back!
Coffee at the little pop up is also great!

This was my second stay at Airhouses, in the Hawthorn Pod, and it won't be my last. It's such a perfect and beautiful location and the standard of the accommodation was equally as good as my first visit, everything is so well maintained and clean. This year the farm had the added attraction of a wonderful pop up cafe too, in a beautifully renovated Dairy, this was lovely and the coffee was very good! Everything they do at Airhouses is to the highest standard and they constantly strive towards enhancing your stay with sightseeing tips and experiences. As I arrive i exhale and relax, and I was once again sad to leave.

Recently stayed at the Hawthorn Pod with my husband for 3 nights to get away from it all. The setting was ideal with lovely walks all around. The accommodation was like a tardis, it had everything we could possibly need inside, and outside there was a quality bbq and hot tub which we well utilised. With very friendly and accommodating staff, we will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking to just chill.

We had a very lovely stay in the Hawthorne Pod. I would give 5+ stars if I could. The Pod was very clean and tidy, everything worked excellently and there was even a surprise welcome hamper of goodies. The location is perfect for a countryside getaway but still drivable to Edinburgh for any city sightseeing. We will definitely be back next summer!

We thoroughly enjoyed living in the Hawthorn Pod. Very ‘high tech’ but easy to understand.
However I did think some of the correspondence/ emails were designed to be understood by the lowest common denominator. I did not mind paying £500 (quite expensive) for three nights self catering in a Glam Pod but would expect to be treated more like a responsible individual.

We have just returned from our long weekend away at The Pod. We couldn't recommend it enough, spotlessly clean, mod cons, nice hot water in the shower and a great bbq and hot tub outside. Location is beautiful, it was lovely to be able to have a wander around the farm, Lauder is a short drive away for cafes and a shop and Edinburgh is only half an hour away. We were lucky enough to get the sunloungers out and have a bbq each evening. The pod has everything you need for your stay and we loved the cosy robes for getting out of the hot tub. Cant wait to return

Wow, what can I say? We spent the recent bank holiday weekend at Airhouses in the Hawthorn Pod, and the whole place surpassed our expectations. We checked in on Thursday to find a totally unexpected welcome pack, with tea, fresh coffee, chutney, biscuits, delicious chocolates and more. The place was spotless, The bed super comfortable, the wifi more than enough for HD streams, the barbecue top notch and… the hot tub was a delight. More than that, though: Damian was super friendly, and incredibly helpful. We chatted about the animals (this place would be perfect for a family with young kids), the history of the place, he gave us tips on local walks, and pointed us in the direction of the 24/7 farm shop which was rammed with all kinds of goodies (including a freezer full of meals and delicious looking ice creams, in case you grow tired of barbecues). We went on a couple of the walks highlighted in the app, fed the ponies, alpacas, donkeys and goats, and indulged in a little "spot the wildlife" - we saw a few deer, a couple of buzzards, a stoat (though it was moving pretty quickly) and a magnificent looking fox popped over a fence near the pod, which we almost missed.

The fields are super well spaced out: they could probably cram more than twice as many pods and cabins in, but I loved how spread out everything was.

We hope to return again real soon, with more of the family in tow!

What an amazing find! Perfect for a retreat. I walked into the pod and was gobsmacked by how lovely it was - mood lighting, snug, solid and curved like a cocoon - just what I needed after an incredibly hard 18 months in my life. Underfloor heating, hot tub, really comfy bed, stillness, huge window to view the night sky from the bed (and the bullocks cropping the grass!). Very private. I felt safe, warm, unintruded upon, and away from all the cares of the world and yet part of it too with the great views. I almost don't want to recommend it as I was to keep it secret just for me! :) Highly recommended, and will definitely return with my husband next time, and maybe also try one of the larger accomodation options with my children. PS Make sure you read the small print (I didn't), as the pod has a microwave, not a conventional oven - note: there is a well stocked fridge and freezer on site with plenty of options if you forget to bring anything.

We absolutely loved our stay at airhouses and we will definitely be returning.

We stopped in the Hawthorn pod and it was the nicest pod we’ve ever stopped in - and we’ve stopped in a lot. It was super clean, in an amazing location and the facilities were incredible.

We arrived the night Storm Arwen hit, and despite the local village losing power, water and some of the the farm buildings being damaged, the owners and staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They made sure we had access to everything we needed and quite frankly if we could rate higher than 5* we would!!

We can’t wait to come and stay again :)

It’s a super spot for seeing lots of the local area, and the information provided on the app was extremely useful. It’s a completely relaxing break with its own hot tub and barbecue, and the pod itself was so roomy and well fitted. There was nothing that could be faulted and I will definitely stay there again.
