A deluxe lodge amazing the lake and walks are great. Such a relaxing holiday and dog friendly walks. We will come again.
Well equipped lodge with lovely view. On arrival milk, tea, coffee and sugar provided as well as a delicious lemon cake. The bed was very comfy but the sofas in the lounge were looking a bit tired. The fishing was good but there was a lot of goose droppings around the lake. Outside the hot tub was great and private. Sadly there were no flowers in the two window planters this time. Two enclosed dog walks great although one was a bit overgrown.
This is our third visit for long weekend fishing and once again was superb. The lodges we had are always a high standard and they want for nothing. The grounds are well kept and you can clearly see the work they have done on the lakes to improve them such as the new road and carpark. Katie is always on hand for any possible issue not that we have ever had any, But good to see the hands on approach and care placed on our stay by Katie and the team at Rural Roosts.
Once again another absolutely perfect stay at rural roosts. The lodge was spotlessly clean, spacious,very well laid out and wants for nothing. The fishing lakes are superb,well stocked and very accessible. I caught around 80 or 90 carp during my stay fishing only a few hours in the morning or evening. Although the site is in such a remote rural location there are loads of options for a day out within a short drive. The high street and history of Lincoln, seaside and beaches not too far and loads of quaint little market towns to explore. Overall 10/10
Returned to Rural Roosts for the 3rd year running and as usual did not disappoint. The lodge is literally a home from home and there is nothing the owners have not thought of. We love it here and following a recent heart procedure was just the peace haven I needed to recuperate Fantastic week in a fantastic place Thank You ❤️
This is the 3rd year me and my brothers have been here twice in badger lodge one in lapwing Lodge and can honestly say it's the best place for a fishing holiday or just a break from everything. Always spotless always great fishing and nothing is too much trouble would highly recommend.
Another wonderful stay at Rural Roosts.Tawny Lodge was very clean,well equipped & extremely comfortable.The Lemon Drizzle cake as always was delicious.We had great weather,some nice fish & my wife even managed to see a deer.Our dog loves the walks & the freedom field.Rural is so peaceful you can’t help but feel relaxed so thanks Katie, Tim & the team see you in August.
We had another wonderful 2 week break at Rural Roosts. Teal is a lovely lodge at the top of the lake with beautiful views and the addition of new patio furniture was a nice surprise. The whole area is kept immaculate and the new sauna looks lovely. We saw lots of wildlife both at the lodge and up at the reservoir. There is always something to watch and it is a nature lovers paradise. Fishing was slower than usual due to weather and spawning but we still got some lovely fish largest coming in just shy of 14lbs. We highly recommend a stay here.
