La Manga Club Hotel is now a little dated compared to its competition. You are paying a premium price but the premium will only be worth it if you make full use of the sports facilities, especially the golf and tennis. The restaurants remain pricey and poor value. Breakfast during the peak season is a frustrating affair - a small dining area with few tables results in queues and whilst the breakfast food itself was good this is surely an unacceptable state of affairs.

The prices at the Hotel pool snack bar at lunch time are astronomical - worse still given the unfavourable Euro to GBP exchange rate and again represent poor value for money.

The golf courses remain immaculate and the gymnasiums are very good. Attend if you wish to use the sports facilities in full - otherwise look for better value elsewhere. The hotel is not worthy of a five star rating - although the sports facilities perhaps still are.
