Excellent property, idea for a large group. We were a large family looking to have a week celebrating a milestone birthday, the property was everything we were looking for, clean, well equipped, excellent location. We had a minor issue which was resolved extremely quickly. The kitchen area was perfect for family meals. The bedrooms were spacious. We will definitely return.

What a wonderful place! We had a really special Christmas at Higher Mullacott Farm. The house is so cosy and comfortable, yet it is spacious enough for 10. It is very well-equipped, and well-located for coastal walks and beaches. I can highly recommend this lovely farmhouse for a family break.

The Farmhouse cottage is very good for a large group with all facilities you would expect of a high end cottage in Devon. The on site support was very helpful. The cottage is in a good location for access to all the main sites and beaches in Nth Devon. The only disappointment was the quality of the wifi. Could only get adequate reception/speed in 2 places. Overall very good .

Comfortable and spacious holiday home, well equipped and ideal for a large group. The ‘Beach Hut’ is a bonus as it provides the basics for a visit to the beach to surf. The extensive grounds provide play facilities for table tennis and a kick about area as well as play module.

The farmhouse was a good size with 5 bedrooms to easily sleep 10 people plus baby in a cot.
Beds very comfortable but ground floor bedroom was a bit damp on external walls.
Kitchen was great for family breakfasts and meals for all of us.
The only problem for me as a tall person was the height of the door openings on the ground floor which obviously could not be helped. The garden area was a great size for the children to play in.

Check out at 9am a bit of a rush. 10am would be better.

Great location for local beaches, horse riding and wildlife park

It is a very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped holiday home for a three-generational holiday. We appreciated both the characterful features of the beautiful old building, and the high specification of the renovations. The large new fridge was very useful. Having access to the beautifully kept garden and play area was a great blessing for our grandson! The only slight downsides were that the ensuite showers were quite weak, and that the location near a busy road made it preferable to go everywhere by car, unless using field paths. The coastal scenery is stunning and there are plenty of activities nearby to choose from, so we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous area. Tina was extremely prompt and helpful with answering any queries; thank you very much.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the farmhouse where a lovely Devon cream tea made us feel welcome on arrival.
The property is spacious with great views of the garden and surrounding countryside.
The large kitchen and dining area is ideal for all family members to get together.
There is plenty of outdoor space and play equipment for youngsters to enjoy and we also appreciated being able to borrow beach equipment from 'The beach hut' in the garden.

Cottage and facilities very good / excellent.
Hosts very accommodating and helpful. Cream tea welcolme very much appreciated.
Best of all was the cheap fuel prices in the region; diesel £1-77 Ltr.
Avoid A361 through Braunton's conjestion, take more scenic but longer route.

My first reaction on exploring the farmhouse was ‘I want to live here!’ It’s so lovely to have a generous living space for a large family but also with lots of nooks and cupboards to find places for shoes, bags and equipment. The beds and settees were super comfortable to make you feel really at home. The main bedroom is huge and all the others a really good size too with enough hot showers to cope with everyone needing them when back from the beach (even if the water pressure seemed a little low). The kitchen was very well laid out and equipped with everything you would need for cooking for 10 - I loved the slate worktops. I found that we hardly used the two freezer sections and although the fridge compartment was tall, it was bursting at the seams as we did almost all our meals in. It was lovely being so near Ilfracombe and Woolacombe for all the beach activities, walks and even a boat trip. I am already looking forward to a return trip.

The cottage is great and really spacious and the noise does not travel from downstairs to the bedrooms upstairs.

The facilities on site are wonder with a bbq, ping pong table & Children’s play area.

I would really appreciate recommend.

A beautiful property facing on to a grassed courtyard with gardens and fish pond. There are play facilities on the green space All is well maintained. A bonus is the ‘Beach Hut’ where body boards, buckets and spades and windbreaks are available to borrow.
The house was clean and comfortable, towels and bed linen are good quality, all in all a comfortable holiday home for a large family group. Tina and Mark the resident managers are friendly and helpful.
The property is well located for Ilfracombe and Woolacombe and other attractions like Lynton and Lynmouth and Clovelly are not too far.

We stayed here as there was a family wedding local so booked both the farm house and Dolly’s barn which were next to each other so perfect as we wanted to be close by. Both buildings were beautiful, well layer out and super clean. Surrounding land was perfect for the many children we had, they played lots outside with all the sporting equipment the owners provided. 5mins from Ilfracombe on a straight road into the town so nice and easy if coming back in the dark. Tina and team were super accommodating and really helpful, we will definitely book this lovely location again.

Lots of outdoor space as well as sufficient room inside. Extremely well equipped, but need to take your own dishwasher tablets and toilet rolls which is why the value for money score is down. Comfortable beds. Unloading would be easier from the back of the property as it was a little distance with heavy bags from the car park, so perhaps worth mentioning in the arrival information. No power supply to the DVD player, so not able to use it.

The Farmhouse and surrounding area was everything we had hoped for. Enough space for 10 people of which 6 were children. Very clean, comfortable, great outdoor space for the kids to release some energy.
The Farmhouse felt very authentic but had all the mod cons you could need.

The surrounding area was great for walks and not too far from several nice beaches.

Would not hesitate to recommend.

A fantastic stay at a 5* luxury farmhouse owners have thought of everything for a relaxing stay found it hard to leave.
Great family stay for 6 adults an a toddler

Beautiful cottage set in idyllic gardens, everything you need for a week away is at this lovely cottage. The renovation has been carried out to a very high standard, with quality fixtures and fittings. All the bedding, towels etc are of the finest and made it a very comfortable place to holiday, we stayed for four nights and it definitely wasn’t long enough. Would highly recommend. We are looking forward to our return visit.

Excellent accomodation for a 59, 63, 88, 89, 90 and 91 yr old. So homely & comfortable. Best equipped self catering accomodation I've ever stayed in. One small problem with a radiator solved very promptly. Would thoroughly recommend.

The Farm House is a well thought out and well kept property which is finished to a high standard with lots of nice attention to detail. The kitchen diner is a brilliant place to relax, cook and eat and the BBQ area is equally convenient. Bedrooms are well thought out though not sure why the 2 double en-suite bedrooms don’t have TVs and the showers need to be better in both the en-suite bathrooms. A ‘mind your head’ sign on the inside of the downstairs bedroom would be good - I still have the marks to prove it! Lots of stuff available to use at the beach from the beach hut located in the car park which is a great idea. Just need to move the flower pot back about 10ft so you can easily turn a big estate car round - it did get a bit tiresome having to do multiple point turns each time you wanted to go out. In summary a great place to stay with easy access to all the beaches and towns you may want to visit during your stay - with a few little tweaks it could be even better! Would definitely book again.

The Farmhouse was ideal for our family holiday. The accommodation was comfortable and clean and the living spaces were perfect for our needs. Well located near to beautiful beaches and family activities, all ages from two to seventy two had a great time. The property managers were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay at Higher Mullacott Farmhouse. The accommodation was full of character, clean and welcoming with good facilities.The location is great for Woolacombe beach and Ilfracombe, other attractions being within a reasonable driving distance.The bonus for us was the excellent large safe play area for the children. We have already booked for next year

We had a great stay at Higher Mullacott. The Farmhouse has superb communal living spaces and everything is fresh and new. Lovely and cool inside during a very hot week, the garden has plenty of sun and shade but you can hear the road. Very convenient for both Ilfracombe and Woolacombe but you have to drive everywhere. Super and efficient caretakers on site who stopped at nothing to make sure we were happy and comfortable. It is close to the other houses but hardly saw anyone else. Very comfy beds and linens all top notch. Definitely recommended!

Had a lovely stay in the main farmhouse, 12 extended family for 40th birthday. The house is very well equipped and Cathy was very helpful. Highly recommend Higher Mullacott Farm, great location for exploring North Devon.
