Kerridge End Holiday Cottages have 3 three properties: The Hayloft (sleeps 6), The Coach House (sleeps 4) and The Stables (sleeps 2). They can be found in the foot hills of The Peak District looking down on the Cheshire plains. They are all Grade II* listed buildings which means they are of exceptional historic interest and are graded 5* Gold, situated in the grounds of a gentleman’s country residence. Conveniently situated within easy reach of the Peal District National Park’s most stunning scenery and historic sites in the Cheshire Plains such as Chester, Tatton Park, Quarry Bank Mill, Dunham Massey, Lyme, Little Moreton Hall and Biddulph Grange Gardens. Locally there is an abundance of walking and cycling routes with everything from a Michelin-starred restaurant, to welcoming local pubs, restaurants, farm shops and cafes.
Lovely cottage, everything thought of by the owners including a lovely welcome hamper. Excellent shower and bath, the only slight negative if you stay for a week was the comfort of the bed, but would be fine for a shorter stay. Would definitely recommend x
Cottage excellent - very homely. The place was spotless. The kitchen is a very sociable space and we spent a lot of time there when not out and about.
We were a party of four. One person in a wheelchair. Easy access to all ground floor facilities.
We spent our time visiting many local attractions and did a few wheelchair walks.
Castleton excellent for coffee and cake and we had the best breakfast ever at Peak View.
We would not hesitate to book again, or recommend the place to family and friends.
All in all the place was as advertised - if not better.
