The wee house is a lovely place to stay, we were made to feel very welcome by Louise. The property is in a beautiful location with lots of amenities close by. We look forward to returning to the Wee house in the future.
Beautiful cottage in a stunning place! Clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and superbly appointed. We give it our most enthusiastic recommendation!
The nice people in the Lochearnhead Hotel called it the "Upside Down House" because the kitchen and living room were on the top floor, up a spiral staircase. All four bedrooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and appliances we needed for our two week stay. The view was absolutely breathtaking on the top floor deck, and also up the hill behind the house on a freestanding wood deck. One of my fondest memories will be watching the meteor shower with my sons up there while looking down over the loch, with a crystal clear sky full of stars overhead. We really lov...more
Used Waterside as a base for a 6 night stay visiting Dunblane, Crieff, Stirling and the Trossachs while we were there. Centrally located for all of these. The cottage had everything we needed and catered well for us and our 5 month old baby. Nice walks in the local area. We would definitely recommend it and look forward to our next stay!
We had a lovely time staying at lochearnhead. The cottage is perfectly located for cyclists and families as NCN7 is literally a few yards away. We really appreciated being able to cycle traffic free from Killin to Callendar on beautiful cycle paths through forests, along loch sides and fields. The cottage itself is well equipped, clean and spacious with plenty of games to amuse kids on the inevitable rainy days.
Heather and Alan have created a delight. A fully-equipped kitchenette and luxurious bathroom finishes. Multi-channel HD TV and strong wifi. All the little needs have been thought through, from Euro-Brit converter plugs to lit make-up mirrors. 50 metres from the Rob Roy hiking and cycling trails. 10 minute walk to Loch Earn's lovely shores.
We had a great week in Callander. Almardon was a lovely place to stay. It was clean & well equiped. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The booking process was qick & easy.
Great holiday home in a very pretty village for a group or large family. Good location for nearby walking and watersports. Very close to several restaurants and supermarket. Beautifully fitted out house with a well thought out kitchen and dining area. Great place for a party.
I had a wonderful stay with my partner at the Old Schoolhouse. The property is beautifully renovated and has a wonderful sense of comfort and warmth. It was well equipped and in a great location with lovely views across to Loch Earn. We will definitely be visiting again!
We loved staying here. The view is amazing. And it is really quiet. You have lots of space. The whole apartment is lovely and modern decorated with love to detail. The kitchen is fully equipped. There even is a washing machine with drying function. The only small downsize was the broken toilet, but that got fixed during our stay. Since each bedroom pretty much has its own bathroom and there is a spare toilet on the upper floor it was not a big issue. This is a lovely place to stay. Can definitely recommend it! We felt like home.
The house was ideal for us, a family of four with two teenagers. The teenagers each had their own decent sized room and we had the one with the generously sized en-suite. The owner had kindly got some basic provisions in for us prior to our arrival. The house is located withing short walking distance of a number of shops and restaurants. We discovered "morning rolls" which we ate with bacon for breakfast and tried out the excellent restaurant next door. Stirling, Perth, Lough Tay and Dundee are all within easy reach by car and there are plenty of activities in the surrounding area. We tried q...more
All very fine. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is cosy and comfortable, and well-equipped. One detail: the shower is in a bathtub and if you are 1.75m or taller your head touches the (low) ceiling. Would be nicer to have a regular shower (not a bathtub). An easier solution might be to remove the feet of the bathtub so that it is lowered with 10 cm. Not a big problem though.
My wife and I had a lovely week in Annfield cottage central in town and handy for shops and cafes etc Our hosts were very helpful without being obtrusive and the cottage was everthing we needed ,so thank you for a great holiday Bill and Margaret
We have had a great time at Sheiland cottage. The house is very clean and comfortable. We liked very much the cosy and stylish decoration. Absolutely a house to repeat and recommend!!!
The bungalow was everything we expected and more. The location is on a quiet street yet within 5 minutes walk of Comrie centre. Parking off the road, good access to the property. It was very clean and tidy and decor was also very good. Kitchen was fully equipped, lounge was comfortable and the double bedroom also had a comfortable bed. Just what you need after a days walking! The heating worked fine, and the bathroom had a very good hot shower (didn't use the bath). Its nice to have soft water, coming from a hard water area! Having stayed in many cottages over the years, this was defin...more
Super place to stay. Cosy and everything you need. Great location for getting about. Recommend a stay here!
We had a lovely time. The cottage is very well furnished, spaceous and equipped with everything you might ever need! A nice table in the back garden allows you to enjoy a meal surrounded by beautiful nature. We can highly recommend a stay at Mid Cottage east!
the location is perfect for water sports and for visiting south scotland, situated at one hour from glasgow, edimburgh, east and west coast. the cottage is perfect in everithing
Little extra touches make all the difference when only staying for a weekend, like extra hand towels in all the toilets and bathrooms plus soap: milk in the fridge and tea and coffee supplied. We did have some difficulty lighting the gas fire in the sitting room but got there in the end and though the cottage did feel a little chilly on arrival the central heating system was very efficient and coped well with the demands of 8 people for showers. Would definitely recommend this cottage.
A lovely cottage. Excellent order. Everything you will need is there. All crockery, cutlery, pots etc of good quality and plenty of room and cupboards. All the local shops are within walking distance and on level if you have mobility problems. I would definatley like to return to this property or one of the other Cooper Cottages if they are all of this standard.
Good location and cosy comfortable accomodation. Shop ie Co op very convenient for provisions.. Good takeaway pub/restaurant COURIE nearby
Well what an absolutely lovely cottage in a beautiful location! It's very comfortable, well-equipped and furnished to a very high standard throughout. The conservatory which is new for 2017 I think is very high quality and a real showpiece! The wood burning stove in the living room was a real bonus as the nights were quite chilly! This was my first visit to View Cottage and to this part of Scotland and I'm already looking forward to returning early next year and to a few more visits after that for sure. If, like myself, you're on a mission to climb the Scottish Munro's then this makes a...more
This was our second stay in the Boathouse in Lochearnhead, it's the most beautiful location and ideal for our boating activities. The accommodation is excellent, evenings spent relaxing on the decking just a few metres from the loch are memorable, we look forward to many more in the years to come. We've already booked again for 10 nights in 2018...counting the days. Thanks once again Cooper Cottages.
The house is as described, comfortable and very well equipped. The drive is steep but manageable. My only complaint is the decking, it's treacherous and even the areas with chicken wire on were still slippy. I think it should be replaced with something more suited to Scottish weather. That said I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house, it's in a simply stunning location and I would go back.
Comfortable cottage, welcoming and helpful owners. Ideally positioned for access to the local shops/pubs and many delightful walks.
The views from every window of the cabin are amazing. (Even the toilet window) Every evening we would see the deer in the fields behind. One evening there were 17 including a number of young who were bouncing around they stayed for about half an hour and we enjoyed watching them through the kitchen door. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 (and I think a family of 6 or 3 adults 3 kids) but I think 6 adults would struggle. The attention to detail such as the 1 pint of milk, tea, coffee and sugar, and the shortbread biscuits on arrival were a lovely bonus as we arrived after all the sh...more
Great location with beautiful scenery around. Convenient to drive around to interesting places. Spacious property, well equipped. and well heated. Cleanliness needs improvement especially the toilet cleaning accessories. Bath room fittings inadequate. Bed linen, seating covers and bath towels old and faded. Shower cubicles covered in mold and drainage blocked with hair. Score 70/100
Great cottage, well equipped, lots of space for us and the dog! Great location- only 15mins from Perth, but plenty walks etc round about. Great place to come back to at the end of a busy day with friends and family. Would definitely come again!
Had to find somewhere to stay whilst visiting family just outside Perth and this was still available peak holiday week, probably because it does not really suit everybody with 3 double beds so not really family friendly more for groups of couples which we were. Lovely property bit of a drive down the loch to get anywhere as quite remote with no local facilities such as a shop, the nearest being Kenmore about 3 miles away but worth the drive!
Merci pour la cheminée qui nous a bien réchauffés Le parc est très agréable Il vaut mieux disposer d'un véhicule pour séjourner à Almondbank
Very clean and well equipped and roomy appartment (dishes, fridge, dishwasher, laundry machine, microwave, toaster, iron, hair dryer, ..) and plenty of parking space for the car
This house is in a great location for going around the Lochs. Very spacious, looks newly refurbished and well fitted though there is some pending work. But could do with some more mod-cons (e.g. no electric kettle or microwave in kitchen) and for the price some more thought for guest comfort when being offered even as a self-catering unit.
