Refurbished in 2022 to a high standard, this 3-bedroom town centre apartment provides both luxury and comfort. Situated in the town centre, it offers both stunning views out to the world-famous York Minster and onsite parking for 1 medium sized car.

Arrived in good time and received a text message from Stays York saying that we could enter premises early.
Entrance through 2 gates through a tunnel to inner courtyard was straight forward but you do need to check the actual
width of your vehicle as this is the only parking space (unless you pay for nearby Marygate car park).
Our Mazda 6 saloon did fit but I had to guide the driver through carefully. Smaller vehicles should have no problem
The accomodation was excellent with 3 double bedrooms split between ground and 2nd floor.
3 bathrooms with toilets and showers was a delightful surprise.
Lounge was spacious and kitchen and dining facilities excellent.

One thing we noticed was that all locks were digital.
It would have been nice to have a key for the already fitted mortise locks on the front door and inner garage door
for night time use as we had 2 children with us.

I hope to book this property again for 2026 Viking festival. It is well served with a variety of shops and restaurants
and I would highly recommend this property for it’s high standard of cleanliness and facilities.

It would be difficult to find a place to stay which is more central than Blake Mews and with private parking too!
The house is spacious, well equipped and maintained. Even though you are in the centre of York you do not hear any noise when you are in the property.
If we were planning another trip to York we would consider booking again.

The apartment was in an ideal location. It was a little cold in the apartment and we didn’t like to adjust the heating. The arrival hamper was a nice touch.

Lovely townhouse in a great location . Comfortable and well equipped. Entering via the back gates was a bit of a faff and it would have been easier to enter in via the street door but otherwise you couldn’t fault it .
