With its proximity to the Historic City Walls, Riverside strolls and near by local cafes, Grooms Cottage provides all the details that you would need for an extremely comfortable stay in York.

Grooms cottage was easy to find, in a quiet location just behind a small park but with easy access into the City.

It was very modern with all appliances you need and clean and tidy. Comfy beds, nice en-suite to a very large master bedroom.

Great bonus is the allocated parking space for one car as the street has no parking.

One small negative comment for us was
the outside area with table and chairs had not been prepared at all which was disappointing as the sun was out on arrival but we soon sorted this with a brush and cleaned the table and chairs down with soap and water.

Overall a lovely place to stay when visiting friends and family in the beautiful city of York.
