Wonderful spacious accommodation, spotlessly clean with comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen if you fancy self catering but also close to great restaurants and cafe's. Beautiful beach is just 5 minute walk away with lots of water sports. Would definitely recommend for couples and families with children.
We weren't expecting much, it was fairly last minute and we just wanted somewhere to stay with the dogs so my partner could attend the nearby track. We loved it. The track was nearby, as were beautiful beaches, supermarkets, local shop and most importantly a dog friendly pub full of very friendly staff and customers. The cottage is light and well equipped, comfortable and quiet, with plenty of parking, especially good for us as we had 2 cars. We liked the decor, pictures and the small dining table and chairs were nice to sit at for a home cooked meal. Little things like washing up liquid,...more
Had a brilliant stay at Pen Y Bryn with our grown up daughters and their husbands. Plenty of room for us all. Place was very well equipped and clean. Lovely welcome surprise of Prosecco and biscuits. Great views to the sea. Great location for seeing the sights on Anglesey. Would stay here again.
This property is ideally located right on the beach, with fantastic views along the coast, and is especially good for watching the sunset. Supremely comfortable, well-equipped, and just a short walk from the village centre, with many places to eat nearby. The owners live next door, but leave you to your own devices if that is what you want. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. If you're looking for a wonderful sandy beach, this is the place. If you want to explore all that Anglesey has to offer, this is the place.
Excellent accommodation. Great location, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Light, bright and airy. Very friendly owners downstairs.
We received lovely warm welcome from Lisa who showed us around the cottage which is out of this world. The attention to detail and the standard of decor, cleanliness etc was far beyond our expectations. Lisa has thought about everything from the welcome basket of wine, cheese and other goodies to dog treats, dog bed and towel to dry wet paws. The location was great, away from the crowds but close enough to walk into Rhosneiger (about 15/20 minutes). Close to the pub and lovely lakeside walk. The hot tub was excellent - we did what the instruction book said - kept well hydrated and sat in there...more
We stayed at Cerrig Bach for 3 nights. As a family of 5 there was ample room for everyone. The cottage is wonderfully spacious. It's bright and airy whilst also having a homely tranquil feel. It is comfortable in both the lounging area and sleeping as the beds were really comfy. Great kitchen and dining area if you want to take advantage of cooking and enjoying a night in. Only a short stroll to the sand dunes with the beach also not too far away. We already loved Rhosneigr but have now found the place we will return to stay time and time again. Fantastic customer service is also provided with...more
A return visit for us, and once again this amazing property did not disappoint. Couldn't recommend enough!
Cool Waves is a fantastic place to stay in Rhosneigr- just a short walk to the beach and the village. Very smart house with great decor and open plan living area upstairs with balcony is a bonus, the bedrooms on the ground floor are spacious and very comfortable. Our little girl was very impressed with the DVD player in 'her bedroom'! The prosecco and biscuits on arrival were very much appreciated! Would highly recommend this place.
Found the cottage directions very clear and on arrival we were very impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the cottage. It has everything you need for a family holiday, with a lovely beach nearby. The area was quiet and peaceful. Drive is a little narrow to allow parking of car trailer, but there is room to park in front of house. Good range of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. A very pleasant stay.
My sister and I have just spent a week in this lovely cottage, which has only just been taken on by Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings. The cottage is really homely, very well appointed, with all the amenities you could wish for and has a real "heart and soul". The location is right by the sea and the outside seating area gets the sun from 9.30 am until sunset. The company gave us the most superb service - Jamie went out of his way to make our stay as pleasurable as possible and we are most grateful to him indeed. We cannot recommend the company and the property highly enough and we shall most ...more
Loved the cottage - good location, in an interesting little town and handy for exploring the area and also good there is a cafe there. Would definitely return! Only two minor things to make it absolutely perfect - couldn't get the shower upstairs to run hot (only warm), though the one downstairs was fantastic. The windows need proper blackout curtains! Thank you :-)
A great house in a great location - had everything we needed. The booking process was easy and Jamie was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries. Highly recommended.
Had 5 adults, 2 children and a dog in our party and thought the house was superb for our needs. Having 2 lounges, 1 without television and a sea view ( from 1 seat ) was also a bonus. There was a varied selection of toys and games for the kids and a back lawn for them to play on. Beds and chairs were comfortable. Plenty of kitchen utensils although the pans are a bit dated and could do with replacing. Good selection of glasses and plenty of cups. Location is ideal, close to beach / shops/ restaurants and in June was very quiet. Having a garage to put my trailer in was handy as was the spac...more
Our first visit to Rhosneiger and indeed Minstrel Lodge. House was fabulous and location great. Expected there to be more shops, pubs etc in Rhosneiger itself but it was fine for a quick weekend away especially as the weather was glorious. Being pet friendly was an absolute necessity for us and the cleaning team had done a great job in ensuring the house didn't smell doggy. A few more cleaning utensils would have been good (i.e. Dyson) as we struggled to try and leave the house in the state we found it with just dustpan and brush.
Lovely little place right by an excellent beach and a nice little town. Very cute and cosy but didn't feel cramped and the lounge area gave my one year old plenty of room to roam/waddle about!
The house was exactly as stated, spacious, bright, well equipped and very clean. beautiful views over the lake, great garden for the kids to play in and very friendly neighbours whom were happy to help if we needed anything. About 15 min walk to the beach. had a couple of minor issues, one of which was a problem working out the dryer which were dealt with immediately by Jamie which was fantastic.
We spent the weekend here and I would recommend it to anybody who wants a quiet relaxing time the beach it a stone's throw away we had taken our dog and she loved it .We were near shops and restaurants and a couple of bars so did not have to worry about drinking and driving. When we did stay in doors we had everything we needed from a large TV with DVD to board games the cottage was large with plenty room for a family with the bedrooms being a good size and comfy beds ,the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed .even the front and back had seating areas . there was wi-fi so tha...more
Beautiful and well thought out holiday home in a perfect location for us. Would be very happy to stay there again in the future
We have stayed at The View several times now - we love the house and Rhosneigr! The house is bright, modern and roomy and has everything you need. It's literally a couple of minutes walk across the road to the beach, perfect for popping down in the evening to watch the amazing sunsets with a bottle of fizz :-) Had lovely meals in Sullivan's (always a favourite) and The Lobster Pot in Church Bay. The Oyster Catcher is great for drinks outside on the decking. Another great week was had by all and we'll definitely be back!
Fantastic size property, well equipped and comfortable, lots of space for everyone. The house is great for families or groups of friends a very comfortable house. We liked the fact that there were plenty of books, games and beach toys provided for guests to use even beach towels. We would stay here again.
Hafan is in one of the best locations in Rhosneigr with access to the beach within 100m and a view from the decked back garden that's hard to beat. The house fitted 4 adults and 2 children comfortably with two bathrooms making mornings much easier! The house is also well equipped making it feel like a home from home!
Very comfortable accommodation, kitchen very well equipped, superb wet room, ensuite shower, bathroom with separate shower unit and plenty of toilets. Beach location brilliant.
The directions made the apartment very easy to find. It's modern and bright, on the second floor, with views to the sea and mountains. It had everything we needed apart from a bin in every room. Close to pubs, cafes and takeaways, the lake and the beach.
Had a wonderful 5 days at Bay View. The apartment was beautiful and in perfect location with a view to die for, and very close to all amenities. Would definitely recommend.
We had a lovely time. The apartment was very clean and tidy. We also arranged a Tesco delivery and the staff put all the products away, which was brilliant, thank you.
We found Bryn Awel to be an ideal place to stay for our long weekend break. Everything was exactly as seen on the website and therefore it didn't disappoint at all. The apartment is well set out and spacious and very well equipped for visitors. The kitchen and shower room were excellent and we loved the under floor heating! All rooms were clean and fresh looking and very comfortable. The view of the sea from the lounge was lovely and the location ideal with many amenities eg shops, places to eat etc on the doorstep. We would certainly stay there again.
Great apartment in a perfect location. I wouldn't want to stay a week with kids and no freezer or freezer compartment, and no way of drying clothes, but for a short break with a little one, or a longer break solo or as a couple, it's faultless.
Fabulous location, ideal for large groups or families. great house to chill out in and watch the sunsets. 2 mins from the centre of the village
Really enjoyed our stay. A wonderful location. Beach literally on the door step! House contained everything you needed and welcome pack most appreciated. Would not hesitate to stay again.
Although the weather was against us we had a wonderful weekend in Ancones. We were two couples over the age of 55, and found the property to be spacious and well furnished.Having a very large sitting area and a large dining area meant that there was space for everyone. There were some limitations in the range of kitchenware but if you plan to eat out most evenings this isn't a problem. The bedroom arrangements were great with the master on the top floor and the other two double rooms on the ground floor. Having an ensuite for every room was a real bonus. The property is within easy walking ...more
The property was good. Kitchen equipment was a bit of a lacking but we cooked most nights. All bedrooms were spacious.
Very relaxing stay in a very welcoming cosy cottage. The cottage was spotless with comfortable beds and furniture. It had a small patio at the back with brand new wooden furniture and a handy parking spot by the back gate. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the island and is also a stones throw from the local beach, shops and restaurants.
