The cottage was absolutely beautiful and so was the village and surrounding countryside. The garden was really stunning even though it was only early spring; peaceful and full of primroses. The garden also had a great 'wendy house' which our grandaughter loved but for those with toddlers there are a few stone steps between rooms in the house to keep an eye on! The beds were really comfortable, the sheets were fantastic, the bathrooms were great and the kitchen was practical but possibly short on some usual supplies like cooking oil or salt etc. We had not understood that dogs aren't allowed...more
