This was our second trip to Mazzard Farm, staying in Bramley cottage with our 2 & 4 year old. The girls loved it the first time which is why we chose to return. Its a lovely peaceful setting with space for the kids to explore. The cottage was clean, warm and cosy and its a short drive to explore some great spots in East Devon. Hope to return again next year.
We had a short break to visit various centres / South Coast resorts. All were within driving distance. Ruud couldn't have been more obliging. The cottage was cosy and warm with unexpected welcoming additions such as a Christmas tree and scones. The only negatives for us were the beds which we found rather hard (although we understand this might be personal preference) and the difficulties when getting out of the bath / shower for maneuverability. One of our hurt themselves getting out of the shower, albeit not seriously.
Four of us stayed at pippin cottage for 2 nights. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. A nice walk into Ottery St Mary Even managed to feed the goats. Ruud was very helpful with all the communication beforehand and during our stay. I would stay here again!
We wanted a quiet, country cottage/ barn in middle of nowhere and this was ideal. Play facilities with horses and animals for my daughter, beach and Exeter city a few minutes away. Very friendly hosts.Thank you.
We had a lovely weekend in Quarendon & Damson cottage so homely with a well equipped kitchen, the warm scones were
We had a wonderful stay at Russet Cottage on Mazzard Farm. All of the cottages are beautifully and sensitively renovated and designed. We were in Ottery for the 5 November celebrations and Mazzard Farm is in the perfect spot for that. The owners are super helpful and welcoming and we enjoyed every moment in this idyllic part of Devon.
We stayed for 1 week in the cottage. It was well equipped and clean. Owners are very nice and respond straight to any questions. Location is perfect.
