Brockhampton cottages, also known as Tiesel and Truffles is a pair of charming Cotswold stone cottages that stand next door to each other, offering the perfect stay for family or friends travelling together but wanting a little more personal space. Sleeping eight guests across the two properties with independent kitchens and living rooms, there is plenty of room to spread out. The peaceful Cotswold village of Brockhampton is midway between the medieval town of Winchcombe and the regency charms of Cheltenham Spa, giving easy access to a wealth of attractions.

Super stay with the family

A glorious weekend with excellent facilities with SO much to do within touching distance. We took both cottages for 3 couples and a young child in a cot. The highlight was the garden complete with BBQ and space for a toddler to roam free. We also loved the general standard across the property and the eco credentials (heat pump, eco toiletries etc). Everything was clean and in a good state of repair save for a few damp stains here and there and the odd bit of crumbling paint.
We visited Cotswold Farm Park on a rainy day which was great for all ages when accompanying a child, with suprisingly decent food. We also went to Crickey Hill for a fab walk and visited the Horse and Groom for a very tasty Sunday Roast.
The property does accept dogs and a few stray hairs around but no strange smells or chewed up cushions in sight! We didn't make use of the fireplaces although they looked very much up to the job and ready to go. We were there in good weather and they are the type of places that maintain a very pleasant temperature during the day for a moment out of the sun.
Beds were comfy. One very large room has a particularly low double which seemed a bit out of place but was also comfy!
Water pressure and temperature was top notch. It is worth noting for those with young ones that we fitted the cot alongside in one of the small rooms but this was only viable in one of the properties as the bed fills the room in the other smaller bedroom.
