The Granary is a cosy but spacious, rural, semi-detached barn conversion that sleeps 4 guests across one double and one twin bedroom with one bathroom. The cottage has a woodburner and garden and shares a large courtyard with three other holiday homes, which form part of Oosland Barns Holiday Lets at the heart of a family-run arable farm. Nestled within walking distance of the historic Warwickshire village of Bidford-on-Avon, which was famously visited by William Shakespeare on his travels from nearby Stratford-upon-Avon, just 8 miles away. The property is dog friendly and ideally located to explore the Cotswolds and nearby Stratford-upon-Avon.

Me and my boys stayed whilst visiting the Air festival and it was a perfect spot.

The beds and bedding were even better than home. So we now all want new sheets and pillows. So soft and comfy. It felt very luxurious to us.

The place was very comfy, felt spacious and we had a lovely stay.

Fully equipped kitchen ( No freezer)

Great base to explore Cotswolds
The property was comfortable and well equipped. Peaceful location overlooking fields. Nice pub down the road, don’t do food on Monday but we popped next door to The Bridge restaurant and had a nice meal there.

This is the 2nd time we’ve used Bolthole retreats and we'll definitely use them again if we’re in the area and recommend to family and friends.
Lovely area with loads of eating possibilities within walking distance

We loved our stay in the Granary - it was a great spot for walks with our pooch, so close to the river and there were lots of good places to get dinners (although opt for collection or know your instructions well for delivery as we ended up on a rescue mission!). There is also a big Tesco near Evesham which is only a quick drive up the road, so you can pick up everything else you need.

The kitchen area looked very clean and most of the utensils/cutlery also looked clean. Besides quite a few cobwebs everywhere else also seemed clean too! And cleaning supplies were left, which was really handy - as well as a pint of milk which was a lovely touch.

The only think that let the property down was the mattress in the main room - it was extremely uncomfortable so we borrowed the duvets from the twin room to sleep on top of but the mattress made a noise every time we turned (which was a lot because it was so uncomfy unfortunately). Other than this, the property was perfect and we would definitely stay again. The site itself was really quiet and although there was some harvesting whilst we were there it wasn’t loud at all. Good internet speed, perfect for streaming services.

Spacious property with character. Well presented with all necessary amenities. Great location for Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick, Birmingham, Worcester etc. Only downside was that there was a lot of cobwebs around the property and dog hair in the lounge (Sofa/carpet/blanket).

The barn conversion was immaculate. It would have been great to have some trellis or willow fencing around the garden though, it felt very exposed. It was just a patch of grass with a very low fence and you were sitting right beside the people next door. Even though it's a small space, established plants & new garden furniture with a parasol etc could make it really lovely to relax in. If walk into town, road incredibly busy with very fast cars. Felt safer driving unfortunately.

It's just such a beautiful location, we were there during the heatwave which was a shame because we couldn't take the dogs too far, but we did have everything we needed plus some shade in the garden most of the day. We will definitely visit again and would highly recommend - thank you

A well appointed cottage ideally situated close to the river in beautiful Bidford Upon Avon. Our family of four and dog had an enjoyable and relaxing stay.
