This beautifully renovated Northumbrian townhouse provides the perfect family retreat in the heart of this vibrant and friendly little fishing port. Ambler's Retreat sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. There's a wood-burning stove in the lounge and all of the attractions of Amble are within easy walking distance - fishing quayside, beaches, fish restaurants and bistros, a Sunday market, and fascinating little independent shops.On-street parking. The house was clean, light, spacious & perfectly positioned for our holiday in Amble. It was also very dog friendly. The games room was a boon in poor weather. The host, Karen was brilliant, and left some tasty treats for us AND the dog, on arrival. We would definitely would stay there again, and would recommend it to others.

Very well equipped and decorated property. Close to all the amenities of Amble. Easy access to exercise dog, but no closed area to let dog out. The owner was very attentive and I would recommend.

With a large number of people to accommodate, Ambler's Retreat has been our 'go to' accommodation on our annual visit to sunny Amble. Always immaculate, spacious and with the little touches that mean so much.

Fabulous location just a short walk from the marina or the town.

The games room is amazing when the weather doesn't play nice and we've had several BBQs there and some great fun.

Highly recommend.
