Honeysuckle House is a gorgeous 3 story holiday home in medieval Warkworth village. Just a couple of minutes on foot to the main street of the village, yet within a quiet spot near to the peaceful riverbank, Honeysuckle House is a perfect retreat for couples and small families. 1 small-medium dog is welcome. This was our forth time visiting Honeysuckle house and it was a lovely stay once again. You can't beat the location and Angela the owner is fantastic. Grab a stay while you can it's a must.

We chose Honeysuckle House as it had two double bedrooms and welcomed dogs. Twin beds and bunk beds are not suitable for our party yet often come up in results for four adults.

The property was furnished to a high standard and the kitchen was well equipped.

The owner responded very quickly to our message about missing batteries from the TV remote. We had purchased replacements and declined reimbursement, as it wasn’t a big issue, but is something that will now be checked on changeover days.

The area had lovely walks and places to stop for a coffee, cake or something stronger.

We’ll be looking at the collection of Coquet Cottages when we plan our next trip to Northumberland as they certainly know how to deliver a great holiday.

We loved our week at Honeysuckle House. It is a beautiful, well appointed house in a great location. My teenage son loved the extra snug area when he wanted to escape us!

From the second we entered honeysuckle house we all felt completely at home, with all our needs catered for!
Spotlessly clean, perfect location in the most gorgeous village ( Warkworth)

Only minus re location was that position meant very little opportunity to sit outside in sun, otherwise superb quiet location

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of Honeysuckle House. We are delighted that you found the location superb and appreciated the peace and quiet. Regarding the outdoor space, we wanted to clarify that while the position, Honeysuckle House does have a south-facing paved patio garden that is fully enclosed and has dining furniture to seat four. Additionally, the river bank is only a two-minute walk away, providing a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to welcome you back to Northumberland soon.

We had a lovely stay at Honeysuckle House: 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog. The house is well located and really comfortable - a real home from home! The owners were attentive and helpful too, and we all appreciated the hampers and goodies that had been provided; human and canine! We would definitely book again.



No such thing as bad weather,you just need appropriate clothing.

A perfect place to stay in Warkworth. Welcoming, warm, lovely enclosed garden for our dog. Parking space is a bonus and the beds very comfortable and bed linen good quality. The kitchen is well equipped and the welcome hamper generous. Soft furnishings, pictures and settees have been chosen with care.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in Honeysuckle House. The house is really well furnished and very comfortable, plus they accept one dog. It’s also lovely and warm in the winter. Warkworth is a great location with great pubs and tea shop in the village and not too far to walk to the beach or Amble. We will certainly be staying again at Honeysuckle House.

Excellent cottage in a good location. Well maintained and easy to find. Nice and warm. Good location to explore the local area.
Lovely welcome hamper, the scones were a lovely touch. Coquet cottages provided excellent communications and were well organised.

All in all a really good stay

What a super house in a great location. It is perfect for a stroll with the dog… Warkworth beach is amazing…and most of the pubs and cafes are dog friendly Or you can go further afield…Cragside must be one of the best National Trust properties…and see history, nature, sport, or go shopping. Everything is on your doorstep. Then you come home to Honeysuckle Cottage, every comfort is there. Sit in the garden, relax in one of the two lounges, retire to the master suite. It is just perfect. 10 out of 10.

Our second stay at Honeysuckle House, and the fact that we are returning guests tells you just what a lovely place it is. Located in a quiet little spot but just a couple of minutes' walk from Warkworth's restaurants and shops, it combines peace and quiet with handy access to the village stores when you need a pint of milk or any of Warkworth's varied places to eat when you don't fancy cooking. The house itself is spotlessly clean and well maintained with everything you might need - the welcome hamper is wonderful, with all sorts of local treats in it (the home-made scones were particularly welcome after a long journey), but the little touches like enough dishwashing tablets for your stay have also been thought about. The beds are very comfortable and the towels are generously sized - you can wrap yourself in them, unlike some places we have stayed! Lovely guest toiletries too.

As a base for exploring the coast, it is great - Amble's Morrisons store is only a short drive away so stocking up for your stay is very straightforward, and Alnmouth station and Alnwick itself are not that much further away in the other direction. Alnwick is a must-visit for the gardens and the crazy golf! Warkworth Castle (about a minute's walk from the house) stands like a majestic sentinel over the town and Warkworth beach is simply beautiful - huge stretches of sand and lovely long walks both north and south. Further afield, it's a pretty drive up the coastal road to Seahouses (boat trips aplenty to be had here) and then the jewel of the coast, Bamburgh Castle standing guard over a spectacular stretch of beach.

We've booked Honeysuckle House again for next summer and are already looking forward to it!

A pleasant house situated in the heart of Warkworth. Very Well equipped and clean although we found it quite dark despite the sunny days. Nice garden with patio furniture.

We absolutely loved our stay at Honeysuckle House, my daughter loved her ‘penthouse’ room even if she did have to accommodate us using her bathroom each night (was the only bathroom with a bath). The welcome basket was incredible and very much appreciated. The views from the back of the house were amazing and the standard of decor/cleanliness was extremely high. We loved the Temple Spa toiletries too. We love Warkworth so much and will definitely return.

This was our 2nd stay at Honeysuckle House, it’s situated perfectly in Warkworth village, lovely river walk on the doorstep, great eateries nearby, lots of lovely beaches only a short drive away, the local beach at Warkworth is fabulous, the house itself is lovely, clean well equipped, just wish it was mine no doubt we shall stay here again for a 3rd time
