A substantial 5-bedroom detached villa in the prestigious area of Kormurluk in Kalkan. The villa is elegantly furnished and had a large infinity-edged pool plus separate Jacuzzi/plunge pool, outdoor bar area, al-fresco dining area, table-tennis, games room and BBQ. As the name suggests, this luxurious villa has enviable sea views.

Lovely Villa in excellent location
Clean and tidy with stunning beautiful views and fantastic outside space. Swimming pool was clean and well looked after, you couldn’t fault the outside of this villa.
Slightly tired interior in places and downstairs games/gym room was unusable as hot with no air-con and it had a bad damp smell, which was disappointing.
All in all a great villa and we would return.

We stayed at the View 15-29 October this year to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. One week with friends and 1 week with our children. The View was literally like being home from home but with an enormously better view!
The villa is so well equipped with all you will need. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils you'll need, great crockery and a great choice of glasses. Dishwasher tablets in abundance and a cupboard with all the basic starter bits also a fabulous welcome pack.
The villa was cleaned twice a week by wonderful staff and the few things that needed attention were dealt with very quickly.
Zal who visited us the day after arrival is a fountain of knowledge about Kalkan and although we are regular visitors. it was nice for our friends to hear the information and for us to get an update from since we were last there. She was a fabulous and friendly go to as was Sermin the housekeeper. Olive tree travel have it all covered as a company and I've always been very impressed by villas i have rented through them.
The 2 master bedrooms were huge! The other bedrooms downstairs don't command such a view but everyone in our party said they were very comfortable. There is a pool table in the lower floor that. proved popular for many.
The only negative thing I could say was it took a long time for the water to heat up and reach upsatirs and anyon e showering at the same time caused a cessation in water flow upstairs. That being said, once you know you just stagger showers.
Overall a wonderful villa situated an easy 15 min walk into town, and often a cab ride home...all very cheap.
Just fabulous.

This villa is absolutely beautiful, great location, just a short walk into Town. Resort staff were very attentive, and even though we experienced a couple of issues, they were dealt with straight away. The jacuzzi has been moved to an elevated position next to the swimming pool, this is a brilliant idea and was our favourite place to sit, both during the day and the evening, watching the boats and the Town come to life. The only thing that I think could improve this property is for the Air Conditioning to be reset to allow a minimum of 18 degrees, as per the remotes, instead of the minimum 22 degrees it is programmed at. This mean the villa was extremely uncomfortable at times as it never really became cool, especially as the ground floor is completely open-plan with only one Aircon unit. We loved our time here, and would definitely recommend to others.

The moment we opened the gate into The View we were stunned by the view. The villa is amazing and cannot fault at all. The owner has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay comfortable. Little things like dishwasher and washing powder. The bedrooms are stunning. Two amazing ones on the top floor then three still fantastic bedrooms on the lower floor. Whichever bedroom you end up with, you would not be disappointed. All have those amazing sea views. We were a group of ten adults and we found the space perfect for all our needs. A short flat walk into town where you are spoilt for choice with restaurants. Would we stay again? You bet! If you are thinking of booking The View.... do not hesitate!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at The View in August. From the moment you walk through the gate you relax. The views are simply magical. The villa itself is luxurious and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay a complete treat. We can't recommend this villa highly enough!

Fabulous house in a great position. Really amazingly kitted out with everything anyone could need. Beautiful villa but a few problems with air con turning off in the middle of the night, very little hot water and only a dribble if the other showers were being used. Also the jacuzzi only turned on sometimes and only stayed on for a very short time and then would not turn on again.
We loved the villa and if the above could have been sorted that would have made it a perfect holiday. But all in all a great place to stay.

Thanks for your review - I have spoken to the owner about the issues you had with the hot water. It appears that the problem was eventually diagnosed as a faulty valve, which has now been repaired. We're very sorry that this wasn't sorted out during your stay despite several efforts to do so by the local management team. The issues with the Jacuzzi and the A/C have also been rectified. The owner also asked us to pass on her apologies and she very much hopes you will consider re-booking at some point in the future.

We just couldn’t fault this perfect villa. We were with our family the first week and friends the second and the villa was perfect for both.
Olive Tree local support was excellent and Ali arriving daily with fresh bread and water was over and above expectations!

Lovely, well proportioned villa with a great outside layout, swimming pool and bar. Lovely views and good location with an easy walk into the old town.
Good kitchen and facilities. Comfy beds and nice en-suites off all bedrooms. A lovely, lovely villa.
The only issues were the dysfunctional warm water system ( time consuming and difficult to access warm water and we were only 6 in a 10 person property). Also, the lack of privacy with the local attendant accessing the property, with knocking, or permission whenever he wanted to. It felt like a real invasion of our privacy.
Apart from those two things it was pretty much perfect.

We have stayed in two other properties near The View - we reckon The View is the best! The layout seemed quite linear on paper but it works exceedingly well. Amit was most helpful and very responsive to any requests or calls for help - and he diligently cleaned outside on a very regular basis.
All in all a 5 star villa!

We have been on several villa holidays and have learned to look past the 'good camera angle' photos. To this end we were expecting a very good villa but were a little concerned that the pool was a little small, the area around the pool not large and had concerns that we'd be overlooked by neighbouring villas. On arriving, we found we were worrying about nothing: the pictures are not clever angles or misleading at all. The villa was exactly as shown and described and, if anything, the pictures do not do justice to the place. For example, the Jacuzzi looked like a few people could sit comfortably but there were 8 of us and no problem. A truly stunning villa in a perfect location. The view is breath taking.

We have just had the most wonderful week staying at The View! Every bit of our stay was amazing from the location to the facilities to the comfort. The villa literally has everything you could ask for and the add on options were fantastic. Saba and her team came and made breakfast for us on 2 occasions which was a real treat and when we were left in Kalkan by BA who cancelled their flights she drove us to our new accommodation and kept in touch. We will definitely, definitely be back!!!!

We've stayed in lots of fabulous villas in Kalkan but this was by far the largest and best equipped. The owners have thought of everything - huge amounts of crockery/glassware, super beds, great quality linen and all spotlessly clean. However, the layout really isn't suitable for those with young children. This villa is massive and it is therefore an awful long way from the master bedrooms to the children's rooms. Perfect for those with noisy teenagers that want some some peace and space but a holiday nightmare for those with younger children. Be warned!

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at 'The View' villa in Kalkan, Turkey.
The villa was superb and provided everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday with our friends, (party of 4 adults, 6 children).
'The View' really does have jaw dropping views from the vast balcony and bedrooms and every luxury had been thought of from slippers & dressing gowns to mosquito spray and beats pills providing music from every room!
The gas BBQ was easy to use, the kitchen beautifully equipped for 10 people+ and the chilled water dispenser (replaced regularly with new bottles by the pool man).
We enjoyed hanging out at the villa, but particularly the Olive Tree trips (jeep safari, fabulous and the Sunken city boat trip, swimming with turtles), plus the Moonlight fishing trip on Zeus are really recommended.
The short walk into Kalkan old town spoilt us for choice with stunning rooftop restaurants and plenty of lovely shops open until the early hours of the morning! A holiday to remember! Thank you so much Olive Tree Travel!
