We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tignafaolin. The flat is well equipped, comfortable and welcoming. The owner is attentive and can easily be contacted should there be any problems. The views from the windows are amazing and you can sit in the beautiful gardens enjoying nature.

The apartment was amazing, very clean, comfortable beds, Eleanor has thought of everything a family might need for a lovely break. However the view over the Kyles of Bute was by far the best part of our stay. We sat and watched the gannets spectacular dives for fish, enjoyed our own private beach and got to know Dave the local heron. A truly special place ❤️

Four of us (family) stayed here for 5 days. The house had literally everything we needed and was warm and comfortable. From both the spacious eat-in kitchen and the cosy sitting-room, we had stunning views of the Kyles of Bute, enjoying the changing colours from dawn to dusk. From the garden we could access the small stony beach directly. The village shops (one in Tighnabruaich and one in Kames), local pubs and cafes are within easy walking distance. There are lots of walks in the area and we also took a boat trip from Strachur and visited Dunoon, Inverary and Benmore Gardens. The owners had left all the essential information on the house and appliances and were available to answer any questions.

We had the most wonderful stay. The flat was wonderfully spacious and light, impeccably clean and absolutely everything we needed was provided. We loved the big table in the kitchen and enjoyed the gorgeous views. We were lucky enough to have a couple of beautiful sunny days and it was wonderful to have a dip in the sea right in front of the garden followed by drinks on the lawn! Bliss!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is clean, spacious, warm, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The local area is peaceful and beautiful, many great walks along the coast or in the hills. Plan on returning soon.
