The apartment is clean and tidy and has everything you would need in the kitchen, but is a bit 'soulless' and feels basic. The lounge could be made more cosy with a few cushions on the sofa. There were plenty of (obviously new) towels, but I'm a bit puzzled as to why there is no-where to hang your towels in the bathroom - something that could be easily sorted with a couple of towel rings/rails. There is no welcome pack/folder and it's not obvious how to use the TV/Satellite system or the electric wall heaters (again, could be easily sorted). The wi-fi code was helpfully mounted on the wall :-). The customer service was good because I notified the owner there was no hairdryer and within the hour someone had popped round with a brand new boxed one - unfortunately it didn't work but that's not the fault of the owner. The apartment is on the main street and unfortunately suffers from significant noise - especially at pub closing time. All in all, it was a reasonable price for an apartment which was fine.

As we had been in Dunoon before we knew where we were going. The flat was perfect and in a great place for the venues. The company that runs the holiday houses were very helpful to us. The gentleman in the sharps goldsmith shop was very helpful and kind . The ladies in the bakers were great . Mac lures for drink and music were great. So all was well for us. Hopefully the national mod will be back again . Queens hall looking good too. Thank you all very much
