Compton Lodge is a stylish two bedroomed apartment located a short distance from the city centre.
A short flight of stairs takes you up into the apartment .

Comprising of a kingsize bedroom and a double bedroom with a spacious shower room it is ideal for up to 4 guests to enjoy the city of York. There is a kitchen , living dining area complete with smart tv and netflix.
Kitchen has everything needed for your stay and includes a kettle , oven , hob , toaster, fridge freezer and food blender.There is also a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, clothes airer , iron , ironing board , hoover and a hairdryer.

There is a private parking space for one vehicle.

Close to the Homestead Park and local shops and pubs.Just a short taxi ride , car journey or approx 20 minutes walk will get you to the City centre to enjoy all York Has to offer.

The flat is well located, about 15 minute walk from city centre. Lots of recommendations for what to do when visiting. Flat is comfortable and generally well maintained and clean.

Was a perfect stay, quiet, fully equipped with everything you needed for your stay. A short walk to the city centre and has local shops, but here, chemist, restaurant and tea room within a stones throw away. We would definitely recommend this place and would look at staying again when we return to York.

Really enjoyed our stay at Compton Lodge. Property had the parking facility that was great for us. We had a lovely stay in York and the property was very comfortable. Would return here for sure

Me and my two sisters had a great time at this apartment. It catered for all our needs a home from home. Pristine comfortable would recommend a hundred percent. We will definitely be back. Taxi from station under £10. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you x

Compton Mews had everything we needed for our short half term break with the kids in York. Only a 15-20minute walk to the city centre to visit all the tourist attractions.

We had the best stay at this house and would love to return, the house had a dishwasher so gave us a break from washing the pots! There are lots of good points about this property, the beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was a great size to shower the kids! Thank you for a great family stay !!

The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed and more. Beds were very comfortable. Not too far out from York centre. Nice touch to supply milk and tea/coffee, which were welcome for a weekend break. We would definitely come back for a week, knowing the apartment is so well kitted out, to make the most of exploring York further. Also, use of the included parking space is a must (you have to actually drive down a cobbled ginnel to get to it, which can be easily missed). Overall, we were very happy with our choice of accommodation.

Good location approx 15 mins walk to the City of York.

The apartment however is in a built up area with one car parking space down a small cobbled street not great if you have a big car but doable but you might find it easier to reverse out. Not very private, overlooked by several houses but very quiet and this wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

The apartment could do with a really good spring clean sofa and cushions need a good clean and the paintwork requires touching up in places.

We wanted to stay in York at shortish notice, with parking a must due to train strikes. This quiet modern apartment is tucked away on the upper floor of a two-storey building down a tiny cobbled access lane, benefiting from its own parking space. The place was ideal for myself and my husband (we had the larger of the two bedrooms) and my sister, who had the smaller one. We appreciated the desk in the smaller bedroom as one of us needed to do quite a long online meeting one evening. The WiFi worked perfectly. We liked the large efficient shower. The location is about 10 to 15 minutes walk from York Minster, or there is a close by frequent bus service that will take you to the centre of York or the railway station.

Apartment was absolutely spotless and the sheets and towels were lovely and fresh. Located 10-15 mins walk from centre of York, it was a perfect base for exploring the city on foot. Had everything you could need in the kitchen, with basic tea, coffee and milk provided. Lovely big shower and the wifi was good. Found the bed slightly uncomfortable, but this is personal taste.

We stayed for 6 weeks at Compton lodge in the run up to Christmas. The apartment is comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything you need for a long stay. York boutique lets staff customer service was brilliant and they even came in mid stay to provide Christmas decorations. I would recommend this apartment and York boutique lets of you are looking for somewhere to stay long or short term that’s just a 15min walk from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

we cannot wait to return here we enjoyed it so much that we have re booked for next year.t
The interior is goregius and modern, the beds are so comfy and so is the sofa.
there is a big smart tv which meant we could watch netflix. The location is great, it is only a 15 minute walk in to the city centre and is only a 2 minute walk from homestead park which is lovely for children.

What a great apartment, we loved the stay and so nice to have a couple of rooms plus somewhere to relax. Located only about 20 minute walk to centre of York which means we never needed to use the car unless going outside of York.

If we ever go back to York then would definitely use again. Highly recommended.

Very understanding when I had problems paying after my card was hacked. Absolutely spotless from top to bottom everything you need and some ie cooking utensils. Beds were really comfortable and in a nice quiet area. I would highly recommend this appartment five stars from me

Good flat, central location with parking. Little tight with a bigger car but ok. 10 mins walk into town and lots of amenities close by. Had a slight issue with the booking system when I arranged and called the customer service who were very helpful and sorted everything out. Highly recommended.

We only stayed for one night and will definitely be back. It is an excellent location - easy 15 min walk into the city centre, great that it has free parking too. The apartment was spotless and really beautiful. We really enjoyed our short stay there.

I have stayed with York Boutique Lets on multiple occasions travelling for Work in York, recently it has been a on a weekly basis. Each apartment i stay in are always very high standard and extremely clean. First time staying in Compton Lodge and I was pleasantly surprised with the apartment. Its in a nice quiet location just out of the city centre but still a nice easy walk up Bootham to get there. Parking is provided in a private space. The apartment itself was immaculate, everything was provided as always such as teas and coffees, iron etc so its very convenient. Beautiful apartment which i would be more than happy to book again.
