Loved staying in our Yurt! On arrival Bev was brilliant, she took our bags to the yurt on a little cart and helped us settle in showing us how to work the hot tub etc Lovely welcome card and biscuits on arrival too. The bed in the yurt was cosy and comfortable and all amenities were easy to use. Gorgeous location! Only downside was the yurt leaked a quite a bit when it rained heavily but the weather couldn’t be helped and we were warned in advance it could happen! All in all would highly recommend Yurtshire for a peaceful stay off the grid ☺️
Lovely and cosy, we had the best weekend at the yurts. Had everything we needed and more, Bev was super helpful, the yurt itself was so quirky and the hot tub was a little bonus. We stayed in October and the weather was pretty cold but the log burner made sure we were really warm, even on the second night in torrential rain. Bed was a little old - but way more comfy than an airbed we’d normally camp with. Would definitely recommend it and will be back
All staff very helpful and welcoming. Yurt well equipped and log burner very efficient. Good pubs and restaurants locally. very close to get in to Ripon for great food for the barbeque. We even had the bonus of excellent weather for our perambulations round North Yorkshire. highly recomended.
Lovely tranquil area to stay with beautiful places / towns to visit reasonable close by. Back to basics restful retreat for us with Ripon races as a day out treat very close with brilliant atmosphere. Even though it rained all day Sunday, we enjoyed our time out of busy life to take a much needed recharge and if it had been a longer stay we had planned to do more. Staff, owners and amazingly local taxi drivers (2, a credit to their vocation and area) were so friendly and helpful.
Stayed here for a little midweek break and it was lovely. Staff were great and the yurt was fantastic! We Will definitely return :)
Bev and the team at Yurtshire were so welcoming and friendly, the yurt was in great condition and like some kind of luxurious tribal home, we felt spoiled straight away. The log burner was perfect for chilly autumn evenings as was the hot tub, which only took a couple of hours to get nice and well, hot! Stays hot for a good few hours so take drinks and snacks out with you as you take in the night skies and full moon if you're lucky (we were :) The outside decking area is great at all times of the day from breakfast to bbq and a tame pet pheasant may visit you while you're there.
