The yurt has everything we needed and the staff onsite were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend it!
by far one of the best experiences if your looking for a break away from it all and want to relax this is the place to go not only does it offer a peaceful retreat but it offers you something totally different from the normal hotel break. This is a must for all ages and all our group said they would definitely go back!
I booked a weekend stay here as a surprise for my partner’s 30th & I couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s such a great place in a beautiful setting & even the typically British torrential rain all day one day didn’t stop us enjoying every minute. Sarah-Jane has thought of everything & we couldn’t fault a thing. We have already decided we will be coming back! Thanks so much.
This was fun for two days, though the teens complained about the lack of power and phone signal! Bit draughty, and I had forgotten how noisy the birds can be. The washing facilities were clean and worked fine. We were glad we had brought extra blankets. Head torches very useful!
Booked for 2 nights but left after the first. The weather (lots of rain) highlighted the fact that the yurt was cold and damp and leaked. The hot tub eat logs and wasn’t easy to keep going. We’ve had stoves for years so can keep a fire. When we did eventually get it warm enough it was lovely, but you had to stand over the fire box. Some of the pots were still dirty and there was rubbish on the floor under the kitchen cabinet. A shower door or better fencing would have given more privacy. A lovely setting, but clearly a summer thing. The log burner in the Yurt was small. One log at a time so ...more
Overall we had a pleasant stay. Bed linen was pristine and bed was comfy however rugs etc not as clean. Paid for pre lit hot tub but unable to use as too cold, not heated well enough. Location was excellent, fountains abbey very close by and Ripon just 10 minute drive. Position of Yurts not quite as private as expected. Yurts very cold at night as big gaps between floor and Yurt so can get very cold. Wood provided for log burner needs to be chopped yourself to fit into the wood burner and no gloves provided and you need to take welly’s as it’s very muddy near the yurts. Some nice extr...more
