We have two toddlers and have been wanting to get our kids in nature and away from city life. We were delighted with the charm of Knowle farm. Our kids loved the close contact with all of the animals and walking around the rest of the property. We all came away refreshed and rejuvenated. Its the best vacation you can have with toddlers! They even had outdoor and indoor play areas for the children. Our three year old son loved the racetrack. There are some great restaurants nearby and we were able to use a baby sitter per the owners of Knowle Farm suggestion. A week was a great amount of time t...more
Really nice place to stay, beautiful view, warm cottage, good value for money. We definitely will be back there.
Great location and accommodation for exploring South Devon with the family. Plenty to do at the farm for all ages and plenty of activities, parks, beaches and places to visit within a short drive. Highly recommend Knowle farm.
As a 3 generation family we all had a great week at Knowle Farm . The family friendly facilities were as promised and we made full use of them. We were fortunate to have very good weather for the time of the year but it was still nice after a busy day out to enjoy the swimming pool and indoor play area. Everyday started with us going round to say Good Morning to the animals and the 4 year old in the party had great fun feeding them. The day before travelling home we had a quieter day on site and thoroughly enjoyed the Rabbit Trail and making full use of all the facilities. There are lots of...more
We enjoyed a very good holiday. We were a group of three generations and everyone had fun, our grandson wanted to take some of the animals home if he had been permitted. The soft play area and the pool were used every day even in good weather, a great thing to do while dinner was prepared.
We stayed for 2 weeks and had a great time, days out, feeding the animals and a little dip in the pool. We tend to go out most days and entertain our 6 year old, loads to do locally and every thing from the Zoo to a cinema in a barn all within easy reach. Some lovely beaches are also easy to get to, I think its Bantham beach near Burgh island that is my favourite. After a days outing we can crash out and relax in the cottage, feed the ducks from the front door and unwind a little more. Fingers crossed we will be back soon.
