Absolute loved staying at the chalet with my wife and teenage kids. We were on a mountain bike holiday and loved the space, comfort and facilities offered. Whilst a car was an advantage to get into Morzine to shop, a lovely walk by the river was also a good option and took around 15 mins when just heading in for a bimble. Best of all was the balcony... a perfect sun trap after a day’s riding or simply to chill out on with cracking views of the mountains (my son broke his arm on day 3 so we had plenty of time in the chalet). The facilities were great with Netflix on offer to entertain during...more
Fab week! Spacious, well equipped chalet and a great place to come back to after a hard day skiing. Massive ski area, all links open and beautifully groomed pistes everywhere.
The apartment is the top floor of a two storey building which has an under ground garage. The apartment layout is good with a nice balcony and seating area a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine. There were lots of board games and dvds provided which was a bonus keeping littleones happy and freesat UK TV if you need it. The location was great for us for visiting the area and There were plenty of public transport option if you needed them, we used our car most days and in the summer nearly all car parks were free. I’d say that the apartment would suit a family of four or five best any m...more
We had an amazing fortnight in the lovely Chalet Mimosa. The Chalet itself was beautiful, and equipped with everything we needed. The large decking area was so lovely for relaxing and barbecuing. Les Gets is a fantastic location with so much to see and do. Jo was brilliant at suggesting activities and days out. The Mosette lift was a particular highlight, with amazing views and a great burger in the restaurant at the top. Lac Montriond was great fun, we hired SUPs on a couple of occasions, and the water was actually quite warm. Overall a fantastic holiday in a wonderful chalet in a perfect l...more
A very well appointed spacious chalet, suitable for 2 families. The chalet is close to the centre of Morzine but be prepared for a very steep walk back! The property entitles you to purchase a multi pass which we found saved us a fortune! All communication with the property manager was excellent and we highly recommend booking this property.
we stayed 3 nigths on the chalet and we're very happy, that was a nice location and Joanna is a nice person. Oterwise, the rooms are missing shutter and that will be good to good night's sleep.
The chalet is well maintained, clean and has everything you need. The views are stunning but come at a price... the walk from town! Be prepared for a little extra effort when you come off the slopes. It may be 10 minutes as the crow flies but after a hard day skiing you'll wish it was closer. That said, there is a great sauna to help sooth those aching muscles. Overall, I can't fault Chalet Gentiane and what made it even better was the customer service. It was outstanding from start to finish.
