Enjoy the most amazing sea views and stunning sunsets.

For those who have stayed before, our five Geodesic Domes are being upgraded to include adjoining en-suite facilities, and re-located to another beautiful position on our Farm with stunning sea views.

Each Dome will be accessed via an entrance porch extension which includes a log store, adjoining en-suite bathroom (shower and toilet) and separate kitchenette. The actual Dome interior will be open plan living / sleeping, with a dividing wall for the bunk room. The king size four poster bed will be the centre piece of the room, as well as a cosy lounge area with log burner. No need to worry about chilly nights as the Domes are insulated and each bed has an electric blanket to snuggle down under the covers.

Outside, the Domes will have their own BBQ and firepit where you can relax and enjoy the stunning sea views and sunsets. Domes 1 and 5 will also have a wood-burning tub, and there will be a communal pizza oven onsite too.

Available all year round for holidays and short breaks, the Domes will be a short five-minute stroll across the field, from all farm amenities, The Cow Restaurant, Farm Park, Aqua Park and bike hire shed.

This was the 4th time we've stayed in the Domes and it's always brilliant - clean, cosy, very well-equipped and with fantastic customer service. We will definitely be back!

We had a brilliant time in our beautiful dome - it was clean, very well equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was beautiful. Views were picture perfect. The location is great for visiting the lovely beaches nearby and lovely pubs and restaurants. We will be back!

Never stayed in a dome before. So first experience was amazing. Group of 4 girls. We had amazingly time.
So peaceful great to sit around fire pit in the evenings.

We had forgotten just how gorgeous the setting is in the dome meadow. The views are spectacular and it is just so peaceful! The domes are gorgeous, light and airy and we absolutely loved having the hot tub.

A lovely place to stay and unwind with the family. Quirky and fun but also beautiful.

The kids loved the hot tub and the dome was amazing! We had a great time.

Don't stay here if you don't want to be woken at 5 o' clock by pheasants though.

We had an amazing 3 night stay in the domes, the accommodation unit is stunning and a really magical place to stay. It was super clean, everything was clean and the dome had a lovely clean smell as soon as we entered. We had everything we needed and the design is really thought out, comfy bed, lovely log burning which warms the whole unit. The log burning hot tub is an amazing experience, we used it multiple times to star gaze and it was really easy to use. The location was simply beautiful, with the sunsets and countryside views that we could see from the dome. We are definitely going to stay again, 11/10 on everything!:)

We were a group of 6. Two mums and our kids. We had the best couple of days in the dome. Lovely hot tub, super comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and all the little extras had been thought about.
The farm shop has everything you need and such delicious food, the Cow served delicious food with a really quick service and the farm park and aqua park provided excellent entertainment.
The views from dome are absolutely stunning. We’ll definitely go back!

What a wonderful stay we have just had. The dome itself was beautiful, there was much more space than I expected and it had everything you could possibly need. We made great use of the hot tub, BBQ and pizza oven which were all lovely touches that really made our holiday. The wifi and tablet provided made it really easy to plan days and find our way around.
The location was just wonderful, beautiful views and a short walk across the field to reach the farm park. We also made the short drive to a few beaches so it was a great base. We ordered the breakfast, BBQ and campfire hampers and they were all excellent.
I had my 6 year old son with me and it was the perfect holiday for him. He spent hours in the farm park (great added bonus that you only pay once for your entire stay, great value for money!) Even at the farm park the views are lovely. I had intended to take him to blackgang chine but he was so happy with the park we didn't need to. He was shocked that there wasn't a TV in the dome when we first arrived (the horror) but didn't give it a second thought as he was having such a great time.
We only ate at the cow restaurant once, it was perfectly nice food and again good value for families.
It really is a relaxing and special place, we can't wait to come back and will certainly be recommending to others. I also really liked the independent check in/out, it added to the relaxation that we could just arrive and head straight in. Thanks Tapnell Farm for a lovely break!

We stayed in the dome for 3 nights, A beautiful location , peaceful for all.

Our only thoughts ire around accessibility - my husband is partially sighted and struggles a bit. also with access to the Farm Park. ( e.g. one of a few minor issues - he struggled to make himself a cup of tea when he was alone at the dome - the canisters for tea coffee, sugar were identical ! LOL!) . It just made me consider how accessible it would be for someone with a disability .

The staff are incredibly helpful and as a frequent visitor to Tapnell over many years we have watched it develop .and grow in size and activities offered.. One lady i met who was a day tripper with children , thought that a swimming pool would be a great addition - i can see that would be great but it would also begin to make it even more attractive to day visitors, and this would possibly detract from the simplicity of it all.

i love the fact that the farm embraces sustainability and promotes natural and local resources in the attractions and the accommodation .

My final thought is that the Cow restaurant is okay, serving a limited menu. I guess that a restaurant with a more diverse menu might not be economically viable, but we would have eaten there more if we ad enjoyed our meal more on the first night.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very unique and really comfortable. Everything was well thought out and excellent quality. We made good use of the vast facilities on offer which included the communial wood fired pizza oven, hot tub, BBQ, lounge chairs, firepit, etc. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful few days in the Dome Meadow at Tapnell Farm. It’s been a few years since our last visit when we stayed in a safari tent and the expansion of the Farm Park and the Aqua Park make this the perfect escape with children. The Domes were gorgeous and perfectly equipped, the views stunning. I think the proximity to a flourishing flower meadow meant there was a little more wildlife inside our accommodation than we expected and nightfall was known as the ‘bug hour’ by my children. Sadly, they found this quite stressful for 5 nights and I have to admit I didn’t sleep soundly. We ate at The Cow which was great and the Farm Shop did a super flat white. The Aqua Park was - lot of fun and the Farm Park had something for everyone.

Great alternative accomodation. Great attention to detail with the firepit, log burner and hot tub all ready with kindling and fire lighters, all eay to use. Fully equiped kitchen even a salt and pepper mill! There was electric blankets if you were cold and fans if you were hot. They even provided mosquito repelent, everything was thought of and we were impressed. The area is very quiet as only 5 domes in the area with beautiful views. Great expereince for a family.

Dome 5 is nestled away in the glorious surroundings of Tapnell Farm and is a truly modern, spacious & an utterly immaculate accommodation. This was our inaugural visit to the IOW and Tapnell Farm has made it an experience to remember forever! This was an absolute glamorous glamping and a quality accommodation. Our desire for glamping is now been remedied due to finding this gem. Even more breathtaking than in the photos and a joy to stay in! Hadn’t expected to find the IOW so enchanting, but delighted to find it utterly unspoiled and also totally complete with everything we needed. Absolutely hooked on the log burning tub whilst watching the sunset! Unbelievable experience with stunning sea views, sandy beaches, space to roam and so much to do by the picnic table right by the burning wood….and great coffee too! The children loved roasting marshmallows and making BBQ and Tiffany our haughtiness Chihuahua ran more wild than any other time in her dear life! There is also The Tapnell Farm within walking distance with endless entertainment and activities for all ages and if you are hungry try the award winning burgers! We booked the Aqua park multiple times and well worth the splash and thrill before those flavoursome and organic burgers. Everything needed was here with lovely views & a superb host. Faultless and a perfect 10/10 from our family of 4 and Tiffany of course.

Just returned from our first family glamping holiday with 1 and 6 year old staying at the New Dome Meadow, The dome was fantastic, comfortably furnished + full kitchen and bathroom shower. Everything has been thought off,,, logs, lighters, kindling etc even some milk in the fridge and some delicous welcome treats.

The views / sunsets are over to the Solent are spectacular, which you can enjoy from them the wood fire hottub in Domes 1 or 5.

Tapnell Farm itself is great for the kids, well spaced out with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. We dined at The Cow twice, good food and service, worth booking ahead thoug

The dome is well equipped and definitely a luxurious glamping option. The site can be windy at times, but we had glorious weather and the views down to the coast were stunning. On a clear night the stars are beautiful too.

Travelling with a toddler, we did bring some extra things with us such as a bed guard and potty. Tapnell Farm provided a high chair. I think in winter time I would have been nervous to light the wood stove inside as there is no fire guard. We waited until after toddler bedtime to light the firepit outside. Great that all wood and firelighters was provided and we didn’t need to go any buy any.

Also worth noting that Dome 5 is the furthest away from the toilet block. May be a consideration if you need to get up a lot in the night! There is a wood fired pizza oven for use of the guests - however as we needed to be able to cook gluten free dough safely, we were unable to use it as there was no baking sheet available for use to put gf pizza dough on. Could be good for Tapnell Farm to have one available for gluten free guests to use!

On-site there is an excellent pub/restaurant selling delicious burgers, including gluten free buns! We also loved that as a resident you pay once to enter the farm park and then have unlimited access for the duration of your stay. Great for our little one!

All in all, a fantastic stay.

We stayed at the domes for 2 nights for my fiancé's 30th birthday present. We had such an amazing time! The domes were super easy to access and we loved how luxurious they looked. I wasn't sure to start with about the toilet and showers being in a serperate block but actually it was super easy and they were super clean and warm. Chloe was amazing throughout our stay and even managed to find some butter for us for our eggs in the morning when there wasn't any in the honesty shed. I would recommend staying at the domes to anyone as it suits couples and families. Tapnell farm is a great location and you can access some great walks from there. I'd also recommend giving the aquapark a go, Great fun!

We had such a lovely time staying in the geo dome, the kids loved it and we really felt the team had thought of everything. Having a number to text, having milk on arrival, plenty of towels... we really didn’t worry about anything. Lots of space and even with 4 other domes, sharing the bathroom space, we felt it was quite private. The only down side was the storm which made for some pretty noisy first two nights! Once that died down the accommodation was spot on. Easy to get cosy (sun through the windows, the fire or the fan) or cool down (pin back the door or use the fan), with stunning views, we loved it.

We have returned for a second time to the Domes after thoroughly enjoying our previous stay. The Domes are a fun and comfortable with the lovely fields as our view. Fantastic to have individual toilets, sinks and showers per Dome and our towels included. Would highly recommend staying at Tapnell.

This is a wonderful place to stay, the domes are so comfortable and brilliantly equipped. It's very relaxing, but also lots to do near by. My daughter really enjoyed the aqua park.

The geodomes are beautiful inside and the views spectacular. The showers and bathroom facilities very clean. We liked the options of bbq, pizza ovens and wood fires, although while we were there it was hot and we had to cool the dome.

We had a fantastic few days in one of the Domes, everything has been beautifully thought out and kitted out with what you need.
The views are stunning and we loved the outside seating and bbq area and when it got chilly we came inside and lit the log burner. Lovely warm showers and not far to go for them.
Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the pizza oven but did have a lovely meal in the restaurant.
The staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing to much trouble.
I would definitely recommend and we will be back again for sure.

Our second trip to Tapnell farm and so worth it! The domes are amazing and we had a lovely relaxing stay! Great facilities and lovely open space.
It’s is great to have your own dedicated shower however it is a shame that other residents don’t seem to respect this and ours was often used or being used!!

We had a lovely time, it was a great experience. As the weather was very hot I found the dome became very stuffy and there was very little ventilation but propping the door open did help. The showers were cold and I believe the gas supply had run out, which was rectified later. I can imagine it would be great to stay on a cold frosty day and be able to use the Woodburner. I would consider returning, but maybe in the spring next time.

Great view, fantastic place, clever layout inside, lovely and cosy with the log burner lit. Amazing communal kitchen area with everything you could need. Clean toilet/shower.

Everything you need is supplied, tea/coffee, towels, linen, wood, bbq, tools etc. We ordered a breakfast pack and a bbq pack for 6 and fed everyone at least 2 breakfasts and a huge dinner! I would definitely recommend adding these as we really didn’t need to bring anything else! If you’ve never camped or glamped before, this is definitely worth a try and for those hardened campers it’s luxurious. We had 4 children aged between 4-16, all slept comfortably and they all want to come back. Great job guys, see you again soon!

Our family of 5 just had a great trip in Dome Meadow. Kids loved the Dome. Super for views and star gazing with fire pits. Great access to Farm Park and the Cow restaurant. Super friendly staff. Some nice touches like Webber BBQ with coal, supplied kitchen ‘essentials’ and washrooms with individual Dome numbered doors, although a couple extra shelves in the communal washrooms would be helpful to put wash bags etc on. Highly recommend.

We stayed for a two night break in the new bell tents and we had a totally fab stay. My sister and I brought all our kids and everyone loved it. The kids had hours of fun running around on the hay bales and we loved the comfort of the tents! We arrived to cosy beds, fresh flowers and a perfect picnic basket to use. The tent had everything we needed. The toilets and shower block were clean and not a bug in sight! And really warm (think they have under floor heating! Which was a treat). The farm is great as it had indoor and outdoor play areas and petting farm with a great cafe which means we were happy come rain our shine. I was worried as I had my 5, 3 and 1 year old but they were all warm and cosy and we could have stayed longer. A great first camping experience for us with all creature comforts but all the fun and excitement of roughing it!!
