Discover your home from home with our modulogs!

Specially designed for Tapnell Farm guests, our unique modulogs are perfectly proportioned for groups of up to six. Each fully insulated modulog has two double bedrooms, a shower room and an open plan kitchen-diner and lounge with a sofa bed. The living space is designed for relaxation and features a log burner, plenty of board games and homely soft furnishings. Each modulog has its a private decking area, outdoor seating, BBQ and plenty of logs and fuel. There's also an outdoor wood-burning tub - just fill with hot water, sit back and enjoy the view!

Has a fantastic 2 night stay in a modulog this weekend. Great location with amazing views, the log burning tub is an added bonus which we loved lounging in both nights!

We had an amazing stay at Modulog 4. First off the staff and all the arrangements were so easy and incredible qith quick responses and we loved that they wven arranged the ferry for us! Everything was clean and tidy and the food hamper was a real treat. We enjoyed the hot tub although it is a bit on the chilly side we couldn’t get it hotter than (32C) so would probably be better in the summer but was amazing for a short period at sunset. Our son (3 years) loved all the activities at the farm park and animals were a hit. Only two niggles 1. We had stray dog hairs around especially on the couch - I appreciate this is something that is hard to completely get rid of and it didn’t ruin our experience as we have dogs too but for people with allergies this might be a problem. 2. The shower is on the cold side and never got hot enough for the kids to be able to bath we had to use the kettle to warm up water for them.
Overall we had a great stay and would love to return in the summer!

Thank for for a lovely weekend in the modulog - it had everything we needed and was lovely and warm and comfortable - just wish the double bed was slightly bigger as some nights were so warm my partner ended up on the sofa bed bless him! The hot tub was so lovely - we even sat out in it in the rain! It was a well needed relaxing trip!

We came to Tapnell Farm for our honeymoon with our dog. We had an excellent time. The cabin was great and there was lots to do on the farm. The cow restaurant was also fabulous and happily catered for allergy’s. We have recommended to a number of family and friends.

Our first time at Tapnell and in a modulog cabin. We loved the location and the hot tub was a real treat and easy to use. Other positives: the discount for ferry crossing was a great bonus, and the discount for the other onsite activities helped make them more reasonably priced. A discount for guests for farm access and/ or other benefits would be great, e.g. allocated time for farm/play area specially for guests only.
Regarding the modulog itself, the cabin felt warm and cosy and had (almost!) everything we needed. As a family of 5, it did feel cramped but would be fine for 4 people, albeit small people. Husband hit his head on front door frame a couple of times - yes he should have learnt to duck but the door height is much lower than standard height and anyone over 5”10 is going to have to duck every time they enter the cabin. Twin room was fine for young children but double was really very small. It was very awkward getting around the bed and the bed didn’t even seem standard length. We are not a tall family but struggled a bit with the reduced curved head height.
Some additional storage would be great: shelves around double bed for night time essentials, shelves in kitchen (above bins? There was nowhere other than fridge to store food), towel ring in loo would also be great, as would shelves in the shower cubicle.
Huge, heavy coffee table was beautiful but it felt the way in such a small space so we moved it to the side. We didn’t use the log burner. Specific to modulog 4- the airer had one broken rung, and the freezer was iced up.
Luckily we were on the end (modulog 4) so didn’t have people walking past but I expect guests in modulogs 1-3 may prefer a little privacy. We always took the path across the fields behind cabins to respect their privacy.
All in all, we had a lovely stay and I hope the comments above are helpful as I got the impression the modulogs were new but the slight feeling of claustrophobia probably means we wouldn’t book the modulog again. We loved the location and other activities so may look at other accommodation at Tapnell for future.

We had a brilliant long weekend at Tapnell Farm staying with friends in the Modulogs. They are comfortable and really well equipped. The hot tubs, BBQ and fire pits were all laid out ready for us which made everything hassle free. Thoughtful, easy instructions and info were sent ahead of our stay. The whole trip was great value for money with reduced price entry for the ferry, on-site activities and unlimited use of the farm park. We will definitely be back!

I couldn't fault this accomodation on anything! The hot tub was so much better than i expected and really stayed hot.
The accomodation was really cosy and warm with all the wood, beautifully finished and thought out in terms of construction and fitting in the mod cons. Wifi connection was good and reliable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful; a couple of minor repairs were very promptly fixed.Location and views were stunning with plenty of walking trails locally.
I would suggest that you check that the on site activities are running before you book though as they were not available during my stay which was early in the season and they don't give a specific start or finish time on when they are running these. So no Axe throwing or Archery experience for me this time whicch waas the only disappointment during my stay.
I would still highly recommend and will be re-visiting.

We booked as we were attending a wedding but wished we had more time to spend in the lodge and explore the wonders of the farm. The staff were extremely helpful and couldnt do enough to make our stay better. We will be back in the future and cant wait.

I cannot think of anything more that Tapnell Farm could have done to make our stay more enjoyable! The modulog was kitted out with everything you could possibly need (including the travel cot and high chair I requested).
The location and views from the accommodation were stunning. There was nothing nicer than relaxing in the hot tub after a long day exploring.
The staff we really friendly and nothing was too much trouble - including providing fresh eggs for the morning!
There was plenty of space to exercise our 3 retrievers who also had an absolutely amazing time!
We can’t wait to come back and explore more that Tapnell Farm has to offer.

We had a great stay within the modulogs using the hot tub looking at the stars. It really is a great setup, kids loved the farm and activities even on a raining day. Modulogs are so well equipped, warm and comfortable.

We came to Tapnell Farm to stay in one of the modulogs with our dog.
On Friday evening we arrived to a warm and cosy modulog all set up ready. Lovely touches, elephant shaped towels on the beds, Isle of Wight biscuits and local milk.
The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the kitchen had everything we needed.
We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars. Fields for dog walks were right on our doorstep which was absolute heaven for our dog!
A lot of time and thought has been put into the presentation of not only the modulog interior but of the entire accommodation site, all done to a high standard and aesthetically appealing.
We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant which met both of our dietary requirements and was dog friendly too.
A definite 10/10 for us!

We had a fantastic time away! Was lovely to escape. Our children had a blast too! The Modulog cabins were VERY warm, so didn’t use the indoor fire at all. The outdoor hot tubs were straightforward to use and lovely!

We absolutely loved our stay, it was romantic warm, cosy & well appointed. Fantastic hot tub in windy wild weather with beautiful sunsets. Good food at The Cow & lovely wandering round to see all the animals and countryside. Great location for access to West Wight. Definitely want to visit again.

We stayed with our children who wanted to go camping but are still slightly too young (4 and 3). It was the perfect, comfy compromise: they loved it, as did we. The hot tub was a great bonus and the cabins are cosy and cleverly fitted out. Modulog 4 is at the end and so has the most open views: it's more exposed to wind, but I'd always go for that one if possible on account of the view (and the starry nighttime view from the hot tub on a clear night). The location is great for exploring the island.

We stayed in Modulog 4. The property was very clean with great facilities and lovely flowers/biscuits on arrival. We loved lighting the firepit in the evening and also using the bbq. All logs that we needed were provided.
This style of property should, however, really be advertised as sleeping 2 adults and 2 children max. It is really too small for any more than this. The toilet is tiny and very difficult to use given the configuration of all the doors. Also, while the set up for self catering is very good in terms of utensils and cooking pans etc, there just isn’t enough worktop space to cater properly. It is more suited to preparing a quick breakfast - don’t be too ambitious with an evening meal! I recommend dining at The Cow or utilising the Cook range from the farm shop.
Not that they are directly related but just a quick comment on the Farm Park - Given the cost of the accommodation I really do think that the entrance fee should be included with your stay. The farm itself is great for half a day but very understaffed. Absolutely no one on duty at any of the attractions except animal feeding time.
These are constructive comments but all in all we had a great time!

The location is excellent with views over the beautiful countryside. It was lovely to have the space around the Modulog for the children to play and felt very private. The Modulog was well equipped for the whole stay and we loved the hot tub! One thing to make sure is that you remember mosquito repellents as there were quite a few!
Loved the Cow, loved the farm - we’ll be back!

The stay was unbelievable amd we loved every minute spent within the Modulog. The location was perfect which made it easy to come and go as we pleased. The views were stunning especially during sunset and sunrise, with no obstructions for miles when looking out of our Modulog.

Would highly recommend and we will be coming back with friends for sure.
