We have visited this area of The Cotswolds a few times in the last couple of years but not been to Blockley or stayed in Honeysuckle Cottage. Both are delightful. The Cottage is well cosy and well appointed. We are thinking of returning later in the year.
We booked this house for a mini retreat, to get away, slow down, and enjoy each others’ company. It was perfect for this. With walks nearby and a lovely house that was warm and comfortable. The nearby Falkland Arms pub was great for lunch on the first day, and we went to Chipping Norton before going home, but apart from that we just enjoyed being there. We discovered Soho Farmhouse is entirely members only so only go there if you’re a member. The directions and info to get in the house were all clear. This is an immaculately clean, beautiful and spacious property. We spent a week and the location worked well to get to all of the main places to visit. The finish of the property is to a very high standard, clearly done with a lot of care and not your typical rental. Downstairs is huge, with lovely views. It is easily big enough for 4 adults and a cot upstairs. But downstairs is big enough to have an person dinner party or more day visitors. It was very quiet, a great shower/bath and comfy beds. Beautiful cottage in a prime location, the facilities are great, Bouton on the Water is a lovely part of the Cotswolds and I would definitely recommend The Pear tree.
Trinity is a comfortable and stylish apartment.Close to shops, pubs and restaurants right in the heart of Stow. We couldn’t have wished for anything better.
The house was absolute stunning, really well designed, built and maintained. It was extremely spacious with sweeping views of the valley from nearly every window. The hot tub was a lovely addition and kept the men busy keeping the fire going! Laura & Nick were brilliant hosts, they were extremely helpful and even looked after our puppy for us while we went for dinner one evening. An absolute gem of a home with wonderful owners too. Old Post Office Cottage was an excellent venue for my 80th birthday celebration with family. It was stylish, very comfortable, and cosy despite the cold weather outside. We felt very relaxed and welcomed , and the accommodation was spacious but convenient - we especially appreciated the open-plan design of the ground floor. Ilmington was a delightful village, the shop and cafe a great asset, and we had some excellent walks. To be super-critical, parking was limited, and access to the cottage from the back meant carrying luggage etc into the house was hard work for 80 year-olds!
Had a lovely family weekend stay at Cross Keys Cottage. The house was fully equipped and we all felt very rested afterwards!
From the moment we arrived our hosts made us feel very welcome, from greeting us when we arrived, to treating us to a chilled bottle of fizz and lovely breakfast bits. We had a wonderful stay at Slade Stables. It is located within easy reach of lots of fabulous places to visit. Stow on the Wold, Broadway and Moreton in Marsh, are all within easy reach. The accommodation was first class. It was nice and warm inside, with central heating, which was much appreciated in the cold weather. Slade Stables is very well equipped with everything you might need. The quality of furnishings, cleanliness and finishing touches was second to none and there was a very nice welcome basket. This property is faultless. Perfect location for a base if you want to do some explore the surrounding area. It’s only a 10 minute walk into Broadway so ideal for eating/drinking and a little shopping.

Ridge Barn is situated very much in a rural setting with only a few other properties, surrounded by farmland. This property is spacious and comfortable, there were eight of us , plus a dog, and we had plenty of room for different activities . Facilities were good and the kitchen adequately furnished with plenty of crockery etc. Also there was a selection of board games. Because of the weather we did not investigate any local walks which was a pity, however we enjoyed visiting Moreton in Marsh, Broadway and Chipping Camden and spent time walking there.
We booked both the Pool house and Meadow view for myself, my wife, our two young children and their 4 grandparents. We stayed in the Pool house whilst the grandparents took meadow view. First the hosts - they were very welcoming, showed us around and provided us with some welcome packages including Bottles of Prosecco and some freshly baked loaves. Cricket Cottage is a warm, cosy and immaculately presented cottage in the small village of Ebrington, just outside of Chipping Campden. The cottage facilities are excellent including a well appointed kitchen with ample good quality crockery, cookware and glassware and a separate dining room with seating for 6. There is parking on the road right outside for two cars. The cosy living room with plump cushions and soft sofas features a wood burning stove and supply of logs and kindling. Perfect location for a long weekend getaway. Plenty of dog walking, during the delightful crisp and dry days. Kelley cottage has everything you need for a truly relaxing and chilling time. Endless books to choose from, a great little garden to sit and enjoy a coffee in the morning and an early G&T in the late afternoon. This is the third time we have stayed at Spring Cottage and it never disappoints. The cottage is kitted out with the highest quality fixtures and fittings, with everything you need provided to ensure a relaxing and luxurious stay. The beds are the comfiest we have ever slept in in a holiday cottage! The village of Ebrington is picture perfect, with an amazing farm shop and café a few minutes walk away, as well as the award-winning village pub which is not to be missed. We will certainly be back in the future - thank you to the owners for providing such a delightful retreat :)
Lovely weekend in the Cotswolds exploring what it has to offer - and it didn't disappoint. Stow on the wold as base was an excellent choice.
The cottage was easy to find and all communication from initial enquiry was excellent. To nitpick- a bucket was left in the kitchen, no hand towel in the downstairs bathroom and no black binbags. There were no dishwasher tabs or cloths either but 3 were provided on request. Please provide newspaper with the kindling. The house was lovely, warm and well appointed. The bedrooms and bathrooms comfortable and spotless. We would love to return!

The cottage was extremely well situated for exploring The Cotswolds and Oxford. The parking permit was a huge bonus as it is very limited and the information provided for the stay was very good. The cottage itself was very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. It would of been nice if perhaps the heating could of been on for our arrival as when we entered the property it was very, very cold and took some time to warm up but this is not a criticism in any way as our stay was perfect.
Loved staying at Millham Cottages, very comfortable for seven. Great run in to the races. Recommend the Kingham Plough!
The barn was very well equipped, comfortable and always warm. We really enjoyed our stay . The only problem we had was finding the barn, the post code belongs to two addresses and our satnav sent us to the other property and we had to ring the owners, who were very helpful and friendly.
Beautiful property with plenty of space so the family could spread out. Bedrooms were very comfortable and the facilities were very good. Location was great with two pubs within walking distance which was perfect. Parking is very tight but we parked in the road opposite without any difficulty. Highly recommend

We had a great few days at Corner House Barn, the property is newly built so everything was clean and in great condition. Very well equipped, plenty of space and easy parking. Booking was very easy and staff very helpful.
Very warm and cosy stay in the Reading Room for a week. We were working so stayed most of the time in the cottage and it was perfect for the two of us. The main bedroom is really spacious, and the king bed appreciated! Plus lovely fresh linen. Comfy lounge room and easy to use little fire. Lovely sunlight coming into the cottage. We have just returned from a lovely stay at The New Bakehouse. The property is light, spacious and modern. There is a nice outdoor area which was perfect for our first break with our 4 month old daughter. The outdoor area would be lovely in Spring/Summer and the property has bifold doors from the lounge area and main bedroom. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating throughout, allowing us to check out later and also helping to find a parcel that had been delivered to the wrong property. Would definitely booking and staying at this property.

Four of us spent a long weekend in this cottage as we were attending a friends wedding. It is very cute, you walk in to the kitchen which is fully equipped and lots of different utensils. Downstairs there is also a decent shower room. There is a lounge and conservatory on the first floor but we tended to congregate in the kitchen and the proximity of the kettle. We booked via Stay Cotswolds and all of the staff we spoke to were very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable, it was a very easy process. On arrival at the accommodation, it was very clean and exceptionally well equipped for those who prefer to cater for themselves. Plenty of hot water for a hot shower after a day out walking. A good variety of walks from the door meaning very little driving on the break. We had a great break in this cottage.
This location was a great spot to stay in Stow-On-The-Wold. The building itself was a modern, well renovated and extremely comfortable place to stay. The location was ideal as well; smack dab in the centre of town, it made it easy to walk to local amenities, shops and restaurants. I was worried it would be noisy, but there were no issues (though it was low season our stay). The customer service of StayCotswold was very quick to respond, thorough and supportive. Decided to visit Bourton on the Water for a week and very enjoyable it was. Stay Cotswold and particularly Ella were very good in arranging everything. Rainbow Barn is excellent.Close enough to walk to Bourton and close to Fosse Way to visit other town and villages. The Barn is very well equipped,warm and cosy for winter visits. Cliff and Lucy have provided everything you need for a relaxing break.We hope to return soon.
My daughter and I stayed here for a birthday treat and it is a fabulous property, right in the centre of Stow. Everything you could possibly want is on your doorstep and also close to other villages and attractions. Very spacious and comfortable property, and it also felt very secure being in the enclosed courtyard overnight. Great communication from StayCotswold. We will definitely book again!
We stayed at Garden Cottage for a long weekend. The cottage is gorgeous and we felt immediately at home. We loved the character of the cottage, its location in walking distance to several pubs for food and its lovely hot tub in the peaceful and charming back garden. Highly recommended!

We loved The Hayloft and its location, with excellent provision in the flat, very nicely presented, but, sadly for us, we would not return because for so many purposes we had to bend, sometimes double, to cope with the beams in the bedroom. At almost 80, that is too much for me.o

Folly View is outstanding and very high quality. It is large and spacious, sleeping six adults and four children in comfortable ease. It has a very well equipped kitchen and other facilities. Walks in wonderful countryside are immediately available and many other attractions are nearby. Our weekend of celebration could not have been better.

We had a wonderful weekend making special memories. A big family group ranging from 80yrs old to 2yrs old. We used all cottages and each one was beautiful. Lovely cottage situated in a pretty village.There are some great walks in and around the village and even with a little snow were still very enjoyable. Cottage was warm and cosy to come back to. Green Dragon pub was an excellent find for meals out after realising the pub in Withington was closed. Only negative was the corner sofa in the living room as it was difficult for elderly guests to sit on and get up again without having to roll off it! An armchair would be a great addition to this room.
Myself husband and our springer spaniel had a outstanding stay at Star Cottage the minute we started walking up the front garden you had the wow factor, on entering the cottage it was like a home from home the icing on the cake was having a log burner coming back from being out from long walks it was lovely to cosy up on the settee with the lovely warmth from the log burner. We came with all our own provisions but everything was provided if needed even down to dog treats and we also had a welcome pack, the back garden was enclosed and would be a proper sun trap in the summer we can not praise...more
Milton House offers high quality accommodation in a charming village with a super pub and community shop both within easy walking distance. The house was beautifully clean and the furnishings were of a very high standard. Everything worked as it should; the house was warm, the showers and bathrooms were large and very good and the kitchen with its Aga and induction cooker was extremely well equipped, much better than the usual minimalist set of plates glasses etc that a lot of holiday homes provide. A beautiful cottage. Perfect for a small family and dog to stay at and explore the area. Really clean and well appointed. Had everything you would need in the kitchen and a lovely bottle of wine and cookies was a nice welcome. All very smooth with entering and exiting the property, really clear instructions provided. A starter supply of wood for the fire was provided but the cottage was so cosy we didn't need to light it during our February stay. A safe back garden for our dog. We had a wonderful stay at The Staircase. It was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, and is in an excellent location. The only issue was that the curtain that you can see in the photo, to cover the glass front wall and door, was not there! So the whole living room/dining area is rather on display because there was no curtain or blind. We were able to park in the market square for unloading etc. and also overnight (the 2-hour limit applies in the daytime only).
We booked a long weekend at Hill View House for 9 of us to converge for a family get together. The house was roomy, light and spacious with great communal areas for gathering to cook, eat and relax. Fabulous that all bedrooms had their own bath / shower room. We had a small issue on the first night but the housekeeper was responsive and fixed it straight away. It's also a great location for getting to local sights and pubs. Particularly enjoyed the brewery tour at Hook Norton. Great place all round.

Brilliant little holiday accommodation in the Painswick. Really lovely walks which you can start from the property and great food at the Falcon Inn just 5 minutes (if that!) from the property. Ideal that there was a dedicated parking space for our car, located within a free car park if you do have a second car. Home was clean and tidy and had plenty of utensils and cooking supplies. This property is small but the perfect base for visiting the beautiful Cotswolds. It is a very short walk from the apartment to the beautiful shops, cafes, restaurants etc in Stow on the Wold. The bedroom, kitchenette and seating area is all in one room with a small shower room off the main room. The apartment was warm at all times (very welcoming on a cold and rainy weekend!) and the constant hot water was a bonus. The shower was great but the door could do with repair. We stayed in The Cotswolds Lady with our two boys - 4yo and 2yo - on a recent weekend. The location was easy to find, and we enjoyed the village pub and farm store during our stay. Fresh coffee and cinnamon donuts steps from the front door? Yes, please! Our kids also enjoyed the playground just a short walk up the street and watching the locals walk their dogs past the cottage in the morning. The cottage is quaint and comfortable. Fabulous holiday cottage in the Cotswolds - we stayed for a long weekend at Benson Cottage (2 couples) and had a lovely time. The cottage is a perfect size, warm, and with high quality fixtures and fittings. The decor is calm yet cosy. Benson cottage is well equipped with everything you could need for a weekend/week away. Only downside was the local pub being closed (due to a fire) so there was no restaurant or pub within walking distance - but not really a major issue!
What a wonderful holiday in the Cotswolds, we highly recommend The Old Dairy! The house has wonderful homely feel and was perfect for dogs and children. We made a late decision to spend the February half term in the Cotswolds. After a brief search online we found Bumble cottage. It was quaint, yet spacious, warm and cosy, and all the furniture was very comfortable. The garden was perfectly safe and secure for our 4 legged friend as well. Winchcombe as a small town had everything we needed, and we were in a great location to visit Stratford Upon Avon Bourton on the Water and we also enjoyed a lovely walk from the cottage itself. Lovely cottage, and very clean and well equipped, and cosy in the snowstorm. Just two gripes; firstly it has one of those loos where the seat will not stay up [happens all over the world I know], and secondly the logs for the woodburner lasted two nights only. The info pack details a garage where more supplies can be obtained. I think this is a bit mean, -after all we dont get two days worth of electricity, but what made it worse was that the garage concerned is in the process of becoming a pile of rubble. I had to make a 20 mile round trip to find a supply of logs. Otherwise all good.
Our booking was for 11 people; Grandpa (myself), my three children and partners plus four young grandchildren. The accommodation was excellent with no more than two per bedroom and en-suite for everyone. The living/social area was enormous, a vast kitchen with dining space for all, two semi-open plan lounges and still more space for the children's games. The patio with a table for 12 was excellent for evenings and there was plenty of space for the children to run around safely. Parking space is also plentiful. We loved our stay at the cottage. Excellent furnishings and very comfortable. Only downside was the heating, we were not able to alter the settings and it was cold. The living room was very cold and we had to buy some logs from the local shop for the woodburner to keep warm. We would love to return in the summer.

Great location and good amenities though there are a few things that should be noted or can be improved. The windows are single glazed I think so if you're a light sleeper and in the front bedroom I'd reccommend ear plugs. Single glazing also means it gets cold inside quite easily. The hot water took several minutes to kick in for all of us, and at one point stopped when a tap was turned on elsewhere. This was our second stay and it was just as perfect as our first! We love the property and it’s location - very comfortable, spacious and well equipped living accommodation, great enclosed garden with direct access to countryside walks and conveniently located to explore all the area has to offer. Blossom barn is a perfect place to stay. It was very clean and great location, this is our second time to stay there.
We stayed for a weekend to celebrate a special birthday for my dad. The house definitely had the wow factor with the stunning location and original features like the beautiful staircase. My dad had never been to Bourton on the Water before and he was suitably impressed with his birthday surprise. The house was comfortable and well appointed and the neighbours were very welcoming and made the stay even more enjoyable. I look forward to staying again- staying in Bourton is so much better than being a day visitor as you get to enjoy it's beauty at the start and end of the day when all is quiet.
A super stylish apartment set just off the centre of the village. Church View has everything you would need to enjoy a taste of village life in one of England's most beautiful villages. We enjoyed our visit immensely and would highly recommend. We look forward to a return visit. We had no issues with parking though I would imagine it might be different in high season. There is a big tesco down the road where you could park if needs be.
This was a last minute booking that was handled with ease. The cottage was next to a stable for horses, which were a sight to see! Definitely no issues with disturbances from them. And the garden view was beautiful, best in the summer time I suppose where you can relax and soak in the view. They had a good heating system where it didn't take long for us to feel toasty indoors. Overall, it was a perfect cottage that had all the amenities we needed.
Prince Barn was absolutely perfect for our stay, with plenty of space for us. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The beds were huge, comfortable and had crisp fresh bedding on them. The showers were hot and powerful with plenty of towels supplied. The directions given were easily followed and pick up of the key was very straightforward.
The house is very comfortable and spacious. Lovely view over the lake, although it is a pity that walking by the lake is not allowed. It was the wrong time of year for us to make use of the garden but it looks like it would be pleasant in good weather. The peacocks were welcome visitors in the mornings! The kitchen is very well equipped but the range cookers are unsuitable for a holiday rental property as the hotplates and the ovens take so long to get to useful temperature - they do not suit the way that a holiday rental is used.
We had a lovely few days at Peppercorn Cottage albeit parking at the property can be tight. We chose to park in a nearby lane. The accommodation and outside space was lovely. The beds were super comfy, residents in the village were very friendly. Plenty to do in the surrounding area and our visit to Westonbirt Arboretum was the hi-light. We were woken on Friday morning with a gentleman knocking in a For Sale sign so unsure of the future of Peppercorn Cottage. Glad we managed to stay though…..

Beautiful village location with great restaurants and shops surrounding the house. Loved the décor and amenities. The only improvement would be to replace the old sofa bed which was very worn out and uncomfortable to sleep on.
Excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds. The Annexe is cosy and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The garden is enclosed and ideal for dogs. It is a little remote but not a problem if you have a car. We did have lunch at the Bell in Ducklington and the food (and beer) were both excellent. Very quiet (we heard 3 or 4 planes but it was never an issue).
It was our second stay at Lavender Cottage. It has everything we need and the location couldn’t be better. We appreciated the cake and milk!

We had a lovely stay over Christmas in Landgate House. Blockley is a lovely Cotswold village; lovely walks and a great shop and cafe. The house accommodated us well, although it is definitely a struggle with 16 there. The space in the main lounge is limited to 8 comfortably but there is a lounge area downstairs too. We could only sit 10 comfortably around the dining table, although all children are adult sized now! The kitchen is equipped amazingly, the best I have ever stayed in. Really relaxing weekend in Honeysuckle cottage, a cosy well maintained cottage in a beautiful setting. Parking on street round the corner but easy enough to load and unload. Walkable distance to Daylesford along a quiet road past the village church. Short drive to neighbouring Stow on The Wold. Well equipped Kitchen and beautiful bed linens. Hope to return soon.
Second time at this cottage/barn: lovely house, great environment, perfect for our family of 6 adults, one child and a dog. We returned because we enjoyed it so much last year. Came here for a week to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. Our one concern, quite a significant one, related to being contacted by representatives from both Stay Cotswold and Quince, simply to pass on a complaint made by someone staying in one of the other two barns. Great house/location. Great 4 a grp. Would be lovely in summer as very private. Needs some extra hanging space in downstairs bedroom / needs some kitchen utensils updating ie large frying pan/ large teapot and ovens need a deep clean once or twice a year as needed to clean before using. Overall though 8/10.
We recently stayed 3 nights in the organic wagon. Quirky and different. Great base for exploring the Cotswolds. Lots of walks in the area and around the coleshill estate. The log burner kept us nice and cozy with it being February. Kitchen was well equipped if you like to cook.. as we do!! Really felt we got away from it all and reset as it was very peaceful with lovely views. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Lovely stay only a couple of small issues Banana peel found on floor in living room which meant we felt as is place hadn't been cleaned properly. Had to ask for code for key - not sent 24 hrs prior but quickly resolved. Read reviews to say that they had a welcome pack - we seemed to be missing this - some apple juice and butter in fridge not sure if this had been left by previous tennant. Coffee jar not filled and no milk after long drive would have been good. Lovely area and surroundings were nice.
My only complaint is over the different naming of the property on your site and the owners' site. We thought we had booked Heron Barn, to find the property was also called Rose Barn, to find on arrival the signage referred to Roebucks Rose Barn. It would also have been useful to know that "Quince" was a company run by the owners. Otherwise we were pleased that the property provided all we needed for a family get together.
This property exceeded expectations, the house is huge. We didn’t even use the living room, preferring the snug that leads on from the Kitchen. The kitchen would more than catered for us, 3 ovens, 2 dishwashers and 2 fridges WOW. We only ate our breakfasts in as it was a special birthday for my friend we chose to eat in the Pub across the courtyard everyday as a treat.( highly recommend, very friendly) the house is in a quiet location and we were not disturbed. Fantastic stay for my uncle’s 70th birthday - idyllic cottage in perfect location. We loved the outdoor space for al fresco dining and garden games, and felt very relaxed in the space. All of the rooms and living room were very comfortable, and the cottage was well equipped with books and games and extra little touches but it would have been good to have a few glasses etc. in the event of having all six guests. Millers Cottage is incredibly comfortable, warm and ideal for exploring the Cotswolds either by car or by foot. Highly recommended.
Party size : 4 adults and a dog, for a long weekend. The place is in a stunning setting, the 1 local pub I’d recommend prebooking as it was fully booked for an evening meal (Saturday), when we tried to book same day. The ceilings are on the lower side with beams and doorways being quite low, so if you’re tall, you’ll need to duck! So many beautiful walks in the local area and in a great position to explore surrounding villages. We stayed at Grey Gables Barn for 3 nights in January. The house is big and cosy at the same time. It was well stocked with everything you need and is located right in the heart of the village with a short walk to pubs, restaurants and shops. There are 2 fires to keep you warm on cold winter nights. The two twin rooms have small beds so better suited to children, not adults.
We really enjoyed our stay at Guinea Cottage. It was cosy and tastefully decorated with a well equipped kitchen. Conveniently situated for access to main roads for visiting other attractions. You could hear the M4 traffic when walking in the fields nearby but not a problem when inside the cottage. Our only critisism was loo was not spotless when we arrived, which doesn’t help with first impressions, but possibly due to the fact we did arrive a few minutes early so maybe cleaning was not quite complete? Other than that would definitely recommend.
We had a great time at Barnsley Cottage. Cottage felt like a home from home - thoroughly recommend it.

Our family stayed at Brook Cottage to make a weekend of the Christmas Light Trail at Blenheim Palace. It's well located and relatively easy to find. Short drive or nice amble to the local village of Eynsham, and within easy reach of the M40. The cottage itself is very nicely decorated and was very clean on our arrival. Rooms are a decent size and the beds were comfy. A few of our party braved the hot tub as well which was a nice treat! We had a lovely 2 night stay. Summer Hayes is a well presented property, fitted with everything you need for a short break. Plenty of toilet rolls and towels - a sign of a generous host! The location is perfect for a Cotswolds visit, not far from the high street so you can get food etc. The only drawback was the bed in the master bedroom. The bedframe was extremely creaky! I didn't sleep well for the 2 night stay only due to the fact the bed creaked ever so loudly even when I moved slightly; and this could be heard from the second bedroom. A lovely little cottage in quiet location with aga, charming place, nice walks from cottage and lovely places to visit nearby.
Only drawback was a fan noise that was very loud at night, particularly in twin bedded room. Sounded like a mighty storm enough to keep occupants awake. We couldn’t find out what or where it came from. Otherwise all good.
We absolutely loved our stay in Wendell cottage and we will definitely be returning. It is a really great property in a perfect location. Before we went we were a little concerned by the stairs, they are indeed steep and narrow as advertised. However once we had navigated them a couple of times they weren’t then a problem whatsoever. The kitchen is very well kitted out and the living room is very cosy. There is a small area out the back of the property that sadly due to the weather we couldn’t make use of but we are looking forward to spending a pleasant evening sitting out there next time...more
We came to this beautiful cottage for my 40th birthday. We had everything we needed and felt very comfortable there, every room is so nicely decorated, it really was like a home from home. We especially enjoyed the wonderful views from the windows and the woodburning stove in the evenings with a glass of Gin Tonic. Because of the good weather we could do some amazing walks and also visited some beautiful cottages in the area. Thank you for having us at your cosy and beautiful cottage . We hope to come back someday.

i took my partner away for her 30th birthday and we were joined by some friends. The whole weekend was lovely from start to finish and the accommodation was fantastic, the only slight downside is there isnt a restraunt or pub within walking distance, the most local is morton-in-marsh which is 3 miles away and can be difficult to walk especially with young children. other than that, the whole weekend was fantastic. really enjoyed.
Lovely 3 bedroom house - stayed with friends and their 2 teenage children. No real complaints but perhaps an additional shower room would be useful for total occupancy?
Location, layout and expectations of property were matched. A couple of negatives….upstairs master bedroom low wall plug sockets did not work (3 out of 4) and this was reported to 24/7 housekeeping mobile no. within one hour of arrival via voicemail but no response received from any source…had to rely on ceiling light only in that room. Secondly there are no accessible windows in upper floor bedrooms which results in limited fresh air in these rooms..understand health and safety aspect but does not make for comfortable night sleep. Laurel Tree Cottage exceeded our expectations, it was the most relaxing, beautiful property with lots of space for people to chill and do their own thing but the big kitchen table allows everyone to come together at meal times. The garden and children's play area was fabulous and the location - with plenty of great dog walks from the door and a quaint village on hand, was superb. The cottage is well equipped down stairs. The tray of goodies on arrival were excellent and very appreciated. On arrival we noted that the outside area was not well swept and the chairs round the bar area need repainting. One of the cushion boxes was left open and the cushions we’re full of water, we reported this and attempted to dry off the cushions. One of the wooden loungers was broken. Apart from the main bedroom the furniture in the others needs updating or at least proper bed side tables provided, there is no hanging space in the top bedroom. THIS BARN IS JUST THE PERFECT PLACE TO SPEND TIME WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY, 6 ADULTS, 3 CHILDREN, 1 BABY AND THE DOG ALL UNDER ONE ROOF. PERFECT!!! EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS THERE FOR YOU. THE LOCATION IS STUNNING. WE WILL DEFINATELY BE RETURNING!
We had a great stay in this stunning cottage in a great location, however, the heating was not on when we arrived and it took a long time for the property to warm up. Three of the radiators weren’t working and the gas Woodbury we did not work, we had to go out to buy new batteries for the ignition, once fixed, it was lovely. There were no dishwasher tablets either. Just a couple of glitches, but we still has a great time
Flower Barn was perfect for our family get together whilst attending a wedding nearby. We hired Prince Barn too and both accommodations were perfect. Very clean, fresh crisp linen and towels and plenty of space in large airy rooms. We sat outside at the table and chairs provided and although we didn’t use the bbq, commented that it was a top quality one. Would definitely consider staying in these barns again.
Meadow cottage is just excellent. It provides a cozy and warm stay a stone-throw from Oxford. For children it has the benefits of a slide and swing and lots of farm animals they can pet including three lovely Tamworth pigs. Lovely owners whom are more than happy to help. I strongly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay over Christmas but in reality the property is ideal for 4 adults and two children. We had 6 adults staying, one bedroom had no wardrobe space so the the adults in the bedroom lived out of their suitcase. Kitchen reasonably stocked though 8 mugs is a little on the depleted side. The Raeburn had one oven with a hot space below. Cooking Christmas dinner for six was a challenge but it was managed. Excellent location. It was a stunning property, even nicer in real life than the photos. Very spacious and great walks right on your doorstep.
Cottage was in a lovely location looks stunning from outside, sofa was not comfortable and the throw covering the sofa was full of dog hairs cutlery was dirty. Would be good to have spare battery's as we were struggling to use TV remote. Bathroom needs some work on it.
The accommodation is fine, and in a nice setting and good location. However, it is in the converted eaves of a car port, which is not shown in the pictures or in the description. So first impressions were disappointing - not the romantic hideaway we were expecting. Once in, the best feature is the bedroom, light, comfy, spacious. The living and dining room area is small even for just 2 people. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom fine with really nice shower. Heating and hot water were efficient. However, no provision for recycling, which is very disappointing.
Great location and lovely old cottage, which was warm and inviting when we arrived. However, there was no privacy in the living room as there was a window blind missing - this room faces the main road so anyone passing could look in. The ceiling lights in the dining room did not work but there were lamps that could be used instead, the thermostat was hanging off the wall. There was ample crockery but on the whole the kitchen was poorly equipped and in desperate need of a refurb.
Wonderful stay in a traditional cottage in the Cotswolds. Great location in a very picturesque village. Beds comfy, kitchen well equipped and lounge with wood burner very cosy. Some of the furniture like dining room chairs however could do with being replaced!
Everything is spot on to enjoy a winter holiday, apart for the fact that we had to purchase extra wood for the fire.

Great place for family / friends to share a break away. WiFi was great - as no signal on phones. Cosy lounge plenty of seating. Kitchen had almost everything (need cafetière) thanks for milk and teas/coffee ! Comfy beds ! Would imagine summer garden beautiful. Pub across road for food was great. Lovely typical Cotswold stone property in a great location with attractive gardens. Very warm and homely internal accommodation but now a little tired and in need of some TLC. (Deep clean and decoration?) Lounge OK for 4 adults but 6 a squeeze. Poor access drive, which needs more detailed directions, now becoming very muddy due to adjacent earth moving activities (needs monitoring)
We have stayed at this property a few times several years ago and always found it very clean and in a good location for us. However this time we were disappointed with it. The bathroom had mould on the tiles and when we used the shower, the bathroom floor flooded. We called the number that was given to us and the next day a man came to unblock the drain in the shower and put some bleach down the drain and on the tiles. Lovely cottage was great for all the family to be together for a special birthday, the stone floors were not very clean as toddler socks get very dirty, and could do with two fridges, and two towels per person .but we had a great time.
The cottage was in a superb location to enjoy all that Broadway has to offer. Cosy, well equipped, perfect for a pre Christmas getaway.
Lovely house with big kitchen, cake and wine on arrival. Mostly it was fine and as expected from a holiday cottage but there were some issues. The main bed was uncomfortably soft for me and the house was cold. We could only warm it with the fire on and even then it didn't warm up easily. The table and coffee table were slight hazards with their rough edges for our toddler. We were disappointed to find no travel cot and no high chair which I had requested on booking.
