Honeystone Cottage exceeded all expectations for our family weekend away. The cottage was spacious and very well equipped. Having lots of different seating areas meant that the whole family has the space to do their own thing. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need. Thanks for a perfect pre Christmas getaway

Lovely cottage in a great location. Everything we needed was there and nice to have some basic provisions provided on arrival.

A beautiful cottage in a lovely condition. I cannot fault it. Highly recommended.
The only drawback, which has nothing to do with the cottage, was the collection of rubbish.
We arrived on a Monday and refuse collection is Tuesday so on our first evening there we put out ALL the rubbish but on return from our outing late Tuesday discovered that only the food waste had been emptied. I then brought back in all the boxes and bags and by the end of our stay the following Monday all rubbish containers were full,

We had a fantastic stay in Honeystone Cottage!!! The kitchen was so spacious and had all everything you could need. Again bedrooms spacious and comfortable. The whole cottage was homely and inviting and we really enjoyed our stay. Our dog Marley, loved the huge garden! We would 100% recommend and would love to come back.

We had a great holiday at Honeystone Cottage. The location was very convenient to all the places we planned to visit. Great food at the local pub.

After weeks of looking at cottages so pleased we booked this one. Honeystone cottage was just perfect. A gorgeous cottage kitted out with everything you need for your stay. They’ve thought of everything. Lovely garden too which our dog Piper loved exploring.
Location wise it’s great for getting out and about to explore. Most places being about 20-30 mins away by car.
We also visited the village pub for an evening meal which is just down the road within walking distance.
Highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking. We would definitely go back.

Stayed here for a few days in August , whilst the weather wasn’t that great there was still plenty to do. Ideally situated in a quiet village.The Mill pub was friendly and welcoming so handy within a short walk. Building work going on nearby but didn’t affect us. House had everything we needed. Easy to find places to visit and things to do. Dog walks on our doorstep.

This property is absolutely gorgeous and has been sympathetically renovated. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We stayed here as my parents are elderly and needed a bedroom on the ground floor, of which this house has two.
It was very well equipped and the bed were comfortable. From my parents point of view the sofas were too low and they struggled to get in and out of them. Maybe a couple of high back chairs in the property would make this perfect for all ages.
Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your beautiful home.

Honeystone cottage was absolutely amazing. The house was spacious and clean and did not disappoint. Lovely quiet location. Beds we comfortable and bathrooms were luxurious. The kitchen had everything needed. Beautiful garden and the attention to detail throughout the property was immaculate. Will definitely book again.

Lovely cottage situated in a pretty village.There are some great walks in and around the village and even with a little snow were still very enjoyable. Cottage was warm and cosy to come back to. Green Dragon pub was an excellent find for meals out after realising the pub in Withington was closed. Only negative was the corner sofa in the living room as it was difficult for elderly guests to sit on and get up again without having to roll off it! An armchair would be a great addition to this room.

We loved our stay at Honeystone Cottage. The home itself is beautiful and incredibly spacious, clean and well equipped. It was great to have a larger upstairs ensuite bedroom and also 3 large beds in each room. Perfect for 3 couples. Each room was cosy and tastefully designed. Stay Cotswolds also assisted with putting some balloons up for my Dad's birthday (provided by us ahead of time), which we appreciated.

There were a couple of things that we feel would really enhance the overall experience. The bed in the smallest bedroom had a very springy mattress which was uncomfortable, particularly in comparison to the other two beds. A mattress topper or change of mattress would be appreciated for whoever has to sleep in that room. The kitchen was also missing a couple of key items - a good kitchen knife was missing which made cooking dinners quite difficult, as well as a couple of cleaning supplies (washing-up sponge/ antibacterial spray).

It's a shame the nearby pub is closed permanently, and this is something that might be worth mentioning in the welcome pack.

Other than the above, we really loved our stay and would definitely recommend the property to others, particularly if they can adjust a couple of those requirements.

We had a wonderful short break. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were perfect for my Mum who is slightly disabled. The other bedrooms were all comfortable and the bathrooms a great size.
The kitchen is a lovely family room that has a sofa for everyone to congregate whilst the cooks cook!!! We decided the house was so perfect that we ate all our meals here!!!
Location was great for walking and we strolled up to the nearby Roman Villa one day.
The garden is large enough to sit out and feel unexposed….with a great patio with table and chairs.
Ample parking and very welcoming touches.
We will certainly be recommending this place to our friends and hopefully returning.
