The cottage is beautifully and comfortably furnished, extremely warm and cosy. Everything we needed was catered for, for example good quality kitchen equipment, great Wi-Fi, big enclosed garden for dog. Amazing unspoilt views to watch sunset, we were lucky enough to see deer. Garden furniture also very comfortable. Lots of walks straight from the cottage and plenty of villages to potter around within a ten minute drive. Really enjoyed using the log burner too.

What a lovely place Perry Cottage is! Really tastefully appointed (love the sofa!) but still cosy and comfy for us and our 2 small dogs. Great that there is an enclosed garden. Easy drive to all the places the Cotswolds has to offer. Can't wait to go back in the warmer weather and make use of the sun loungers on the patio to relax and look out on the lovely, peaceful countryside.

We really enjoyed our stay at Perry Cottage. The setting and cottage are lovely. We really enjoyed the fire and the views. We had a couple of minor technical issues, likely due to the storm, but the agent and owner were extremely quick to respond. Thanks for such great service. We will certainly plan a return visit.

Would return to Perry Cottage, found the location very convenient for shops/places to visit. It was comfortable, warm and quiet with easy parking and everything we wanted to do being only 20-30 minutes drive maximum. Only down side was the dishwasher didn't clean properly and the hot water was temperamental a few times when running the bath. Overall it didn't effect our stay, we enjoyed every minute. Thank you.

Hard floors could be cleaned better.
Kitchen work surfaces in corners near the sink and behind kettle need cleaning.
Expensive kettle was not reliable and also desperately needs descaling.
This is a beautiful property. We stayed here in march 2020 when it was cleaned by the then owner and it was immaculate.
We also stayed for 2 weeks in 2022 by which time it had been sold on and there again the property was cleaned and maintained by the owner and it was immaculate. Now the property has changed hands again and it is now cleaned and maintained by a company and the standards are not as good.

An ideal base, very warm and cozy with a super comfortable large bed and cozy comfortable living room with a log burner. The garden exceeded all expectations. We stayed in winter and it was gorgeous. A summer stay would be utter perfection. Quality furniture, total seclusion, mature planting and views to die for. In the property, there were many considerate touches and the welcome items were a lovely surprise.

We had problems with the electric car charger, but the response of the owner and agent was instantaneous and the issue was resolved swiftly. Excellent customer service.

The only thing that needed a little improvement was in the kitchen. We found quite a few of the glasses / items of crockery / cutlery were a bit grubby / greasy, prompting us to feel we needed to give all kitchen items a wash before use. Other than that, it was perfection and we would certainly stay again.

A few things to mention about the property.

1. On arrival we noticed that there were two dogs who were kept in a outside area near the cottage. If we had known there were other dogs onsite we probably wouldn't have booked as this set off our dog. He settled down after a while but the other dogs kept barking from around 6pm till 11pm when there owner put them inside.

2. The Garden in our opinion is not enclosed the fence is very low so if you have a dog with a high prey drive they are likely to jump the fence. (older dogs won't but if young like ours it may do). The fence also looks a bit rotten in places with leaning posts so could easily come down. We brought a long line for our dog as we were worried about him running off.

3. On arrival we parked outside the front of the property as stated to unload we were not there more then 10 maybe 15 mins as we struggled to get keys for the patio doors so we could let the dog out. Then the neighbour popped her head over the fence to say we needed to move our car as the were one private property. This wasn't a good first interaction for our first 10 mins on holiday. We noticed she would go to her front door everytime someone drove in.

4. The oven gloves were not clean as our dog started to lick them to get food off time, we also had a duvet which had small blood spots on them (we know it's hard to get blood off but if it was too dirty it probably should have been taken out of use).

We eneded up leaving a night earlier then we were meant to as we did not feel the price paid was worth what we got. The property its self is lovely and well decorated but if you are going with a dog who is anxious or gets stressed easily I would say it's not the place for you also do not park out the front as you will get grief from the neighbour within minutes.

If you had any issues while you were staying at the property you are more than welcome to have contacted the property manager or StayCotswold and we would have been able to assist you with these issues. We apologise if the dogs onsite disturbed you during your stay. We have received no previous complaints from guests about any dogs onsite. The garden is fully enclosed with fencing and the type of fencing is clearly visible on the website. If you had any concerns about this then StayCotswold would have been happy to assist you prior to your booking. As stated on our website under our Terms and Conditions, “Many properties have private gardens or courtyards. If you require an enclosed outdoor space suitable for children or pets, this will normally be stated in the property description, however, this does not guarantee that pets or children cannot find a way out. Some garden walls may be low enough in height that pets or children may be able to jump or climb over them. If you are concerned about this, please check with us before you book. We strongly recommend that children or pets are supervised in the garden at all times”. We apologise that the neighbour wasn’t happy about the parking by the front door to unload your car. The allocated parking spaces for Perry Cottage are just bedside the cottage and there is easy access to the front or back door from these spaces. With regard to the housekeeping issues during your stay we apologise for these and we always want the property to be 5 stars for our guests for cleanliness, if there are any issues, then as it states in the Welcome Notes, to contact the property manager or StayCotswold and these would have been resolved immediately. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Cotswolds soon.

We had a wonderful week. The weather was glorious so we sat out aplenty on the lovely patio. Garden furniture was great and the dog was safe as he wandered round...very peaceful and lovely views.
Everything about the house was very good, nothing to complain about. We have stayed in some beautiful cottages over the years and Perry Cottage has been added to the list.

Perry cottage is a beautiful 1 bed cottage, perfect for a relaxing stay with my husband and 2 dogs. Everything you need is provided and is a true home from home. We took everything we needed for our weeks stay as we tend to be out all day walking and like to cook and relax in an evening. The facilities were perfect for this. Location wise we drove to different locations daily, this could be anything from 10 mins to 30 mins depending on where we chose. There are walks from the door to Chipping Campden and beyond. We’d recommend a visit to Broadway, this was the most picturesque place we visited. We ate out a couple of nights and would recommend the Ebrington arms, a 2 minute drive away. Beautiful food and dog friendly. Another great place to eat is the Black Bear in Moreton in Marsh. A great place to visit to unwind and escape the stress of everyday life

We had 3 nights at Perry Cottage and thought it was a great place to stay. It had everything we needed and was beautifully furnished and accessorised. We enjoyed a few hours sitting on the patio overlooking the orchard and it was really quiet and relaxing. We used Perry cottage as a base to visit many local sights and would definitely recommend it to anyone for a few days break in the Cotswolds.

Perry cottage is a beautiful, well equipped cottage with lovely private (and dog proof) garden overlooking an Orchard. It's the perfect size for a couple and is wonderfully peaceful.

The welcome pack of fresh milk, bread, eggs and butter was a lovely touch too.

We had a lovely holiday staying at Perry cottage, it had everything you could need for a great stay. The weather was sunny and it was great the make use of the patio furniture and loungers. What a beautiful cottage. Tastefully decorated, comfortable bed, good shower, lovely view. We had a super stay and will definitely return. Homely feel and had thought of everything. Great views across the orchard and garden was great for the dog. Couple of minor things - couldn’t find the rotary washing line hole in the garden as grass was long, and we were not left any firefighters but this did not spoil our stay ! Good communication from Stay Cotswold also throughout. Would recommend.

I had a magical weekend and the property was at the heart of it. So well setup and has everything one needs to relax.
I was particularly impressed with the kitchen provisions (especially the bread, milk, eggs, orange juice and coffee on arrival). The sofas and beds were SO comfy and the fire, setup with all the logs you could need made it extra cosy.

My only qualm (very small details all in all) would be that the bedding had a few unusual stains on it - didn’t seem cleaned properly. I also had a few cobwebs fall on my face during the night… the lounge rug was also in need of a hoover and was thick with dog hairs. If they were sorted then it would have been completely perfect.

This cottage has been a home away from home. Very peaceful beautiful location with a beautiful well kept garden.
The house was spotless and very well taken care of with quality kitchen supplies and a really nice atmosphere.
The bed was very comfortable and well made with a wonderful duvet.
The whole cottage felt spacious and cozy at the same time.
The washing machine is an absolute treasure and overal the facilities are just really pleasant.
Great shower with fantastic water pressure.

The location is quiet and peaceful, squirrels roam around in the garden with views of an apple tree.

We were here with our dog. There is a trail right next to the house where you can walk your dog through a field and otherwise there is a small piece of woodland nearby (approx. 7 min walk)(leave the premises to the left, follow the road until it separates in two ways, go to the right, again the road will seperate in two ways, choose the right street again you are on the B4479 then, follow till you pass some houses on the left and then the road will separate again in 2 ways, go left, follow the road until you see a footpath sign and bin on the left, you can enter there. There is aq farmers gate on the right.)

The freezer is small and inside the fridge (incase your dog eats raw meat). There is a store in chipping Camden called pets place I think that sells Cotswold raw meat and veggies for dogs. We also bought it at the wayside farm shop that has a tearoom and other nice local products like their cider and sausage rolls.

WE HAD A LOVLEY WEEKEND STAY AT PERRY COTTAGE, THE COTTAGE IS SO WELL EQUIPPED AND FELT LIKE HOME. OUR TWO DOGS LOVED THE GARDEN AND IT ALL FELT VERY SAFE . LOVELY DECORATION ALL CAREFULLY LOOKED AFTER AND WILL DEFINITELY RETURN ONCE A WEEKEND BECOMES FREE.

The cottage was well appointed, very comfortable and in an excellent, quiet location. We particularly liked the large bed and spacious bedroom. The lounge /dining area had all you needed, as did the kitchen which had plentiful sugar and tea plus a nice chocolate cake. The garden was ideal, being secure for our dog plus southwest facing for a good amount of sunshine. We were pleased that the grass was cut at the beginning of our stay. The view to the orchard and also a small part of the more distant hill beyond was great. There were pleasant walks right from the front door.

Loved everything about Perry Cottage. Beautiful inside, very clean and comfortable. The garden is perfect if you have furry friends, and it is very enclosed and peaceful too. It's in a great located, tranquil but not too far from all the lovely places to visit in the Cotswolds. Definitely recomend this accomodation.

Great location cottage was perfect with everything you need. The village was also very pretty and friendly. Only issue was the fact that the local pub had suffered from a recent fire and was closed for significant repair work. This is nothing to do with the holiday cottage but was disappointing as walking to the pub in the evening would have been nice.

We had a lovely break at Perry cottage with our dog. The facilities and level of cleanliness were outstanding. Everything was provided to make our stay a truly lovely experience. The bottle of wine, biscuits and fresh flowers were very much appreciated.
So many beautiful walks and places to see in this lovely part of the country.
We will definitely be back to visit the local pub which unfortunately was closed due to refurbishment work following a fire.

Beautiful cottage, pretty village. Situated in an ideal location to get to lots of places. We had a great time and would def go back.
