Spring Cottage is a stylish Cotswold stone holiday home which boasts a wealth of character features, spacious living areas and a superb garden, complete with comfortable seating and a charcoal barbecue. Located in the heart of Ebrington, this fabulous property is ideal for friends or families seeking a luxury country escape.

Overall I'd give this 4 out of 5, we've been here before about 5 years ago and had a lovely time, it's much the same here.

Just assume that everything else is great in terms of comfort and cleanliness, apart from the following:

- The downstairs shower really could do with having the mastic replaced as it's mouldly now (and the showerhead needs a really thorough descale). It's not terrible, but when everything else is so good, it stands out.
- There were a few really big, thick cobwebs around the beams and in the fireplace, which is a bit disconcerting as it makes you think the rest of the cleaning might not be up to snuff - which doesn't seem to be the case, but it does make you question it.
- The upstairs bathroom floor tiles have been cracked since we'd last been, I would have expected these to be fixed by now.
- The heating schedule needs to be amended, it's so cold upstairs overnight - it's a obviously a old cottage with single glazing, but that heating schedule could be set to compensate. It's set to 18 during the day and 15 overnight, I fettled it a bit (and reset it at the end of our stay) which did help, but you really need to have it set about 20 at night, which in reality will be about 17 upstairs before it kicks in).

I'd definitely go back, so none of the above would put me off.

Gorgeous interiors with the wow factor on the outside too, easy parking and lovely location with the fabulous Ebrington Arms pub and farm shop down the road. Generous bedroom sizes and lovely and clean.

This cottage is absolutely beautiful, it looks like something out of “The Holiday” and is so cosy inside. The bedding and towels etc were all really high quality and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. We loved our time there and will definitely be back - highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Spring Cottage. The property has been beautifully designed and offers a quiet location in the center of all the northern part of the Cotswolds has to offer. Hidcote Manor and Gardens is less than a 10 minute drive and is a must-do. The local pub is within walking distance, and we are there twice for its delicious food and warm ambiance. Chipping Campden is also less than 10 minutes away and is filled with other restaurants, shops, and grocery stores that provide everything you need and more. We are very happy we chose this property, but those going in the summer may want to be aware that the Aga keeps things pretty warm, which was fine for our fall visit.

Spring Cottage had everything we needed, and more! The kitchen had everything you needed and the Aga kept the house nice and warm. All the rooms were cosy and there was plenty of room for all five of us. There is a fab pub a minute walk up the road which I would highly recommend. Communication from the owners before we arrived made it easy to check in and they left simple explanations about the house which were handy. We were there for a wedding at Lapstone barn which was a short drive away. I would love to come back to the cottage at some point in the future.

We enjoyed a weekend at Spring Cottage in September 2023 and had a lovely time. It is a very pretty house, fitted to a very high standard in a beautiful village. The weather was extremely hot during our visit so the lovely garden was invaluable! There is a great pub in the village and plenty to do in the local area. Thoroughly recommend.

We much enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated and furnished and well-equipped cottage with lovely peaceful garden at the back with glass covered table and chairs. Location is perfect for exploring the North Cotswolds and stunning local countryside. We had a heat wave…only downside was the Aga which despite opening doors and windows made life in the kitchen and at night rooms upstairs uncomfortably hot…We’d definitely return, but in winter!

Such a peaceful, clean and well equipped cottage with a really helpful e-mail from the owner beforehand giving us some really useful tips.
The information from Stay Cotswolds was generic and not helpful. It would have been much better to have some information that was tailored specifically to the property in question. A good start would have been some directions on how to get there - the What Three Words system did not help. I also felt that the property was a little expensive.

We love this cottage and this was our third stay. First, Ebrington is a lovely village with a super pub and a farm shop down the road. Chipping Campden is nearby for a morning coffee and a potter around the shops. The cottage itself is lovely - nicely decorated, extremely clean and very cosy. It also has a nice garden when the weather's good. We love it!

Spring Cottage was a gem! Clean and comfortable, extremely well equipped and tastefully decorated with little touches around the cottage making it cosy and homey. The Aga Cooker was a challenge to use at first but we manged to figure it out and cook up some yummy meals. Well positioned for exploring the Cotswolds - my family and our friends from Italy had a great time.

I have stayed in many cottages and do lots of research before every booking. This cottage is hands down the best I have stayed in.
Everything is just as described, in fact photos don’t do it enough justice.
Cooked Easter lunch for 4 with the Aga which was a great learning experience! I do a lot of cooking and the kitchen has absolutely everything you need.
Both double beds extremely comfortable, bedding lovely.
Great dinner at the Ebrington Arms.
We had a fantastic weekend and even blessed with good weather. Have already tried to book for Christmas and next Easter but too late!
Will definitely be back again at some point soon.

We loved our stay in this quaint cottage! It was quiet and clean. The Aga was a nice feature and we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace in the evenings. Close to Chipping Camden and the market. The only things that weren’t provided were small shampoo/soap and a hairdryer- both of which are nice for international travelers and usually provided during hotel and rental stays. Other than that, we hope we will be back someday!!

This is the third time we have stayed at Spring Cottage and it never disappoints. The cottage is kitted out with the highest quality fixtures and fittings, with everything you need provided to ensure a relaxing and luxurious stay. The beds are the comfiest we have ever slept in in a holiday cottage! The village of Ebrington is picture perfect, with an amazing farm shop and café a few minutes walk away, as well as the award-winning village pub which is not to be missed. We will certainly be back in the future - thank you to the owners for providing such a delightful retreat :)

It was lovely stepping into Spring Cottage again. It was like walking into our home. Felt familiar, warm and cosy. The AGA in the winter is a delight and so was the log burner. The beds very comfortable and slept right through each night. Everything has been thought of and more. The kitchen is so well equipped. The pub up the road does a lovely roast dinner and we were also blessed with snow on the Sunday. Could t have asked for a more comfortable Christmassy weekend away with my best friend. Thank you to the owners and to the team at Stay Cotswolds. We will be back…..

Spring cottage was a perfect cosy cottage for our stay in the Cotswolds. Loved the log fire, aga and comfy beds and our meal in the Ebrington arms was great. Our walks into Chipping Campden were picturesque and easy. We are returning to Ebrington in the new year - sadly Spring cottage is not available or we would have booked it!

Beautiful property, very well equipped. Just be very careful of the small step from the kitchen to the hallway. Maybe put a fluecent strip along it, just to remind people that it's there?

We have stayed at this cottage twice now. Nicely decorated, well equipped and well located. Great garden. Close to Ebrington Arms, and Vegetable Matters. Excellent value!

Spring Cottage provided the perfect stay for grown up family to get together.
Sympathetically furnished with high quality amenities and well maintained.
Everything we needed including a great pub just up the road.
Garden was lovely too with good quality furniture in pretty surroundings.
Would definitely stay again if heading that way.

Everything was just perfect from when we booked the break from when we left.
The cottage was beautiful and everything you could wish for,
The owners had thought of everything to ensure your stay was catered for.
The location was central to all the places we wanted to visit and the cafe Food Matters just a 5 minute drive from the cottage ,is
worth a visit.

A perfect cottage stay. Exactly as shown on website. Just right for our weekend break. The cottage had everything we needed to cook, eat, drink & relax. We loved how warm and welcoming the Aga made it and the log-burner too.
Location was great for exploring local towns and getting out for walks.
Being contacted by the owner before our visit was a really personal touch and they were happy to provide up to date recommendations for places to eat.
We had a wonderful 3 night stay and are already planning our return visit next year.
(have just deducted 1 mark on the cleanliness score because we found a used towel & old face mask under one of the beds - otherwise it was tip top!)
