I recently had the pleasure of staying at this quaint and charming cottage. While it may not have been the absolute pinnacle of my cottage experiences, it was nonetheless a delightful place to spend some time.

The cottage itself exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere, with its rustic charm and cozy interiors. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space for relaxation. The kitchen was adequately equipped.
The location was another highlight, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The surrounding nature provided a serene backdrop, perfect for those seeking a tranquil getaway.

In conclusion, this cottage offers a delightful retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway. While it may not be the most luxurious or modern accommodation I've experienced, its charm and comfort make it a worthwhile choice. With a few improvements, this could easily become a top-tier destination for cottage lovers.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. A few minus points, a broken toilet seat and the outside of the property could do with a little TLC. But overall it was a very pleasant few days.

We had an amazing, very relaxing stay at this property. The converted barn and furniture has a lot of charm and the garden is just great! It has everything you might need and is super clean. The only thing that needs an upgrade is the frying pans which are not very good quality. We also experienced an issue with the toilet mirror, it fell in the middle of the night. Luckily it didn't break and no one was hurt.

The barn was extremely clean and had everything we needed to make this a very comfortable stay during a wet week. Quiet house with great beds and plenty of space to relax . An excellent number of walks on the doorstep with the bonus of a pub in the village plus all other amenities just a short drive away.
I think it only fair to say though I did feel this lovely house was just a bit tired and some areas could do with updating. Fro example I know the weather this Autumn has been less than kind for gardening but the outside of the property was quite messy and would benefit from a tidy up to ensure it enhances the experience of the whole property. The en suite shower room as with everywhere else was immaculately clean but it did get chilly and sometimes poor water pressure. The kitchen would benefit from a better fridge although there was a perfectly one in the cart shed
I really don't want to give the impression my review is negative, not at all, the house certainly came up to the high standardsI I have previously experienced with the Welly Boot Cottages. i will certainly use them again.

we had a great stay at Carters Barn - the hosts even put some lovely christmas decorations up for us

A really well located, comfortable and clean stay at this charming barn conversion property. We couldn't want for anything, great local pub literally a 2 minute walk and a very short drive to the simply charming Chipping Campden.

This is a beautiful barn conversation in a quiet and picturesque village, with a few minutes walk of an excellent pub. The kitchen/dinning area and the lounge are bright with large areas of glass looking out onto a mature garden.

This converted barn is very comfortable and extremely well equipped. We had a very enjoyable five nights there and would visit again. We did have a problem because the dishwasher broke down on the first day there and couldn't be fixed until after we left, however Welly Boots were very apologetic and an engineer came to look at it on the day they were informed there was a problem and really there was nothing else they could have done as a heating element had to be ordered. Two bottles of Prosecco as a 'sorry' were much appreciated.
We felt that the garden and garage area needs some attention as plants are growing over the path and it is a bit of a mess around the entrance doorways. It is a lovely large cottage type garden though but just needs a bit of TLC. One other point is that although there is a washing machine there is no tumble dryer and nowhere to dry clothes. There was an old tatty collapsible dryer in the garage but nowhere that we could see to put in to the ground outside. A tumble dryer in the garage would make a huge difference particularly for families with small children as we had!
