This is one of nicest places I’ve ever stayed the hosts was amazing and so friendly and caring and kind. They Even gave us some fresh eggs as we left from the chickens. It’s a truly gorgeous place please book as you won’t be disappointed it’s so quiet and peaceful and claiming. So so clean and tidy!! Getting booking guys you wouldn’t be disappointed

Loved our stay very peaceful and chilled free chocolate and gin in the hut when we arrived great touch. Fantastic host Allen went out of his way to make the fire every day and even got us more gas for the BBQ when we ran out at night. perfect chilled relaxing weekend away would 100% stay with them again 10 out of 10

What a lovely little get away, we were made welcome on arrival and all weekend. The hut was private and we had wonderful views.
The facilities were great and i would 100% recommend it.
Jackie and Alan were the best hosts.

If you're looking for a few days away, then yes book here.

Incredible place & views. Owners were amazing & very caring. The shepherd's hut is beautiful. Overall really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much for everything.

Firstly the location once you arrived in the village looked amazing, then once we got to the hut the views where breath taking, nice and quiet apart from nature.

We was greeted with two friendly faces plus Alice the dog which was a bonus in our eyes as we love dogs! Couldn’t do enough for us even gave us a map & helped with our adventures.

Highly recommend :) if you want a relaxing retreat with great views then this is for you!

We stayed in this delightful little gem for 2 nights in August and it was more than we expected.
We weren'r sure what to expect but on arrival we were greeted by the lovely hosts and their little companion Alice. We recieved a warm welcome with clear explanations of how to use the facilities.
The hut was warm and cosy in the evenings with a lovely little wood burner outside and what a view to wake up to in the morning.
The hut was clean, modern and an adequate size for two adults. The only thing we noticed were two teaspoons that had clearly been overlooked and been left unwashed but apart from that the hut was spotless.
I would highly reecommend for a quiet, relaxing break away with local nature walks.

I loved this place it was well equipped with the basics plus you have use of a bbq and chimenea. Set in a lovely setting that is private and it's easily forgotten that you're in someone's back garden. Facing lovely countryside. We were lucky with some great weather for our stay. The hosts Jackie and Alan were lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
