This is a lovely quaint cottage literally minutes away from the beach and town centre. It is decorated very tastefully with lots of extra little touches but could be made even better and more elegant by replacing or painting the pine elements. The pine just didn't seem to fit with the rest of the modern, coastal theme but this is only a very minor criticism. The only other criticism would be the lack of heating in the kitchen. It didn't affect our stay too much as we had fairly decent weather but you could definitely feel the temperature difference when walking from the lounge into the kitchen so could be an issue during the winter. Everything else was was fab though and we'd definitely stay again. Even if it was just for the super comfy beds and amazing quality duvets and pillows. It was like sleeping in a bed of marshmellows

We stayed in April Cottage in the middle of summer. The cottage is very spacious, comfortable and clean. We could not have wished for a better place to stay.
The kitchen is large, well equipped and clean. The beds are comfortable and bedrooms spacious and light. The patio garden is a lovely bonus.
Parking can be a challenge, but that applies to almost any cottage in the Torbay area. Paignton town centre, as well as the seafront, are just a short walk away.
We’d recommend April Cottage to anyone and would gladly stay again!
