Hillview is a beautifully refurbished, end-positioned holiday bungalow in Galmpton, with a patio and wonderful views of the River Dart.

What a pleasure to stay at Hillview. The owners have gone way out to provide everything guests could want. It’s the little things provided which make this place extraordinary. Plus the location is fabulous, with beautiful walks on your doorstep, a great vlillage pub and well stocked store and butchers within walking distance. A delightful Devon village. Birdsong in the mornings. Great for dog walkers. Loved sitting on the patio and small enclosed garden sipping coffee in the mornings.

Lovely stay at Hillview the bungalow was spotlessly clean with everything you needed at hand. The owners have refurbished it to a very high standard inside and also the garden was beautiful. The location is very peaceful and a fantastic place to relax. We had lovely weather and I did not want to return home it was just so perfect.

We stayed at Hillview for a week and couldn’t have been happier with it. A perfect location for exploring the surrounding areas. The kitchen was extremely well equipped for us and the children loved the bunk beds. We even had lovely weather! We will hopefully be back sometime soon.

Absolutely loved this property. The outdoor space was lovely and inside was like home from home. I would love to book this property again in the future. And the kids thought the bunk beds was the best.

Nice little bungalow/chalet, situated in a nice peaceful place . Only 10-15 mins walk to the local pub and shops.
Very clean with all the creature comforts.
Nice manicured fenced in patio and garden area.
10 mins walk the the river Dart.
20 mins to the bus stop which took you to Brixham one way or Paignton/Torquay the other way. (Tip, drive to bus stop and park car for free on a side road.).
Overall most enjoyable time had.
A big plus the weather was awesome.

Hill View was an absolute gem. For us, as a family of four with a 2 year old and 7 year old, it had just the right amount of space. The children adored the bunk beds in their room and my 7 year old made the most of the books and dvds provided. The garden space was also great as it was fenced off so my little one couldn’t easily run off! Hill View was beautifully presented. It had everything you could think of. Kitchen was really well equipped, living space was immaculate and really comfortable, the main bedroom was a really calm and chilled out space to relax in following a day out walking and at the beach. Last year we stayed at The Cottage and adored that as well, hence why we came back to the same place. Hill View was even better! The whole site is so well kept and cared for. It’s in the perfect position for exploring South Devon and the English Riviera. We also walked down to Galmpton Creek one evening which was a lovely walk in the countryside and perfect for watching the sun set. Hopefully we will be back soon because we adore this place and the value for money is amazing. It really is a fantastic deal for a week during the half term holidays.

Hill View is in an excellent location close to all of the amenities of Torbay,Dartmoor and the South Hams,it is within walking distance of the National Trust at Greenway,Agatha Christie’s summer residence which is not to be missed.
The village in which it is situated is very pleasant and has a Village Pub,Shop,Post Office and Butchers and nearby are further facilities which are but a short walk from Broadsands beach.
Hill View itself is in a very sunny position with views of the river Dart and countryside with an outside space in where one can relax and enjoy these.
The bungalow is obviously well looked after by the owners-thought had gone into preparing literature about the area for visitors which is most helpful.There was also provision of activities should they be required.
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and we had a very enjoyable stay.

My wife, myself and our dog Jack thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable end-terraced chalet bungalow.
The accommodation is very well equipped for self catering.
We found the dwelling to be spotlessly clean.
There is pleasant walking in the immediate area along the nearby quiet country lanes and woodland with great views of the River Dart and open farmland.
Located only 3 miles from Brixham it is a perfect base for exploring south Devon and beyond.
