Great house to stay in whilst visiting the area. Very well equipped with everything you can think of and more. Would love to come back in the summer and make use of the garden and outside space.

Great property in a quiet location with everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable and relaxed. Owner lives locally and nothing was too much trouble, with maintenance and upkeep done discretely throughout the week and always after checking first. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

We stayed here (4 adults) during June with our 2 dogs. The host was really helpful and welcoming. The location of the property was in a quiet street, with plenty of parking and a good location to local store Gabriel. We used it as a base for the south devon coast so visited Thurlestone, Hope Cove, Blackpool sands, Start Point, Beesands, Dartmouth, Salcombe and Paignton. We ate out alot in Totnes which was great to have local. Would recommend the river shack in stoke Gabriel aswell as the Totnes kayak company which we did for 2 hours and can be found next to the river shack. We also went to the castle inn for a quiz night and would highly recommend the local vineyard which was one of our highlights. We travelled to Dartmoor national park which is a easy drive. All the places I've mentioned are dog friendly as we took them everywhere except in the kayaks.

The property itself is spacious with 3 toilets and 2 dining spaces. There's plenty of kitchen equipment if you choose to eat in. The property was clean and the beds were really comfortable. The garden was fully enclosed for our dogs, had a shed with plastic glasses and a drinks fridge and the hot tub was clean and well maintained.

Overall really happy with my stay and would happily book again.

After working 5 hours away from home this was the most perfect house to stay in for the week it was like a home from home, I will definitely be booking again

We had a wonderful stay at Manuka Cottage, we travelled by car myself, two daughters and two dogs, from Scotland, it was a long drive, but definitely worth it.
The cottage was everything we wanted and needed. Deb the owner came to meet us with the keys and welcomed us, which was a lovely touch, saying that if we needed anything just to get in touch. The cottage was in the most beautiful wee village , and was spotlessly clean and bigger than we imagined it would be, and was just like home from home. Deb also left us a beautiful cream tea and a bottle of Prosecco.
The hot tub in the enclosed and very private garden was wonderful. Deb and her husband came and cleaned the hot tub for us mid stay.
We packed in loads in the week we stayed, so many great places to visit and things to do and beaches nearby, everything was so assessible by car.
Or if its just a relaxing holiday your looking for, then the garden at the cottage is kitted out just for that.
I would definately stay here again, if we get the chance to visit Torquay/Paignton again
