Second time in spindrift, first over new year period. Bungalow is beautifully clean, tidy and well presented. Warm and cosy. The manor was as welcoming and friendly as always with great food. Lovely week away very peaceful and great location to start the new year.

Lovely shally very well presented fantastic location all mod cons excellent WiFi and close 2 the village with pub and shops would hav no hesitation booking here again

We've stopped many times here at galpton and love the location, the views and spindrift is one of our favourites, Katie and Rupert are super friendly and will always help out when needed, beds are very comfortable, appliances all good, my only gripe with spindrift ( and others ) is I find the furniture rather uncomfortable as the furniture in spindrift is conservatory furniture but saying that I've still booked up for next year.

The bungalow was easy to find and was in a perfect spot for where we wanted to go on our trips out. Our little dog felt at home straight away and luckily the weather was good for us to chill on the patio in the evening. Having the dog excercise area was perfect for us as he loves playing frisbee any time of day. The seating area was comfortable in the living room, however we found the beds didn't suit us as we sleep on orthopedic beds with memory foam toppers so we suffered with sore backs and stiffness. Unfortunately this is true of everywhere we stay so I can't say these beds were particularly uncomfortable and may well be fine for other people. We had Sunday lunch at the Manor Inn and breakfasts at the Railway Inn and would recommend both, food was great and very dog friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and will definately be back (with our mattress topper!)

I spent a happy fortnight at Spindrift, which was very well appointed, quiet, and had all the necessities. The property has clearly had a recent 'makeover' and was generally all to a high standard. A couple of very minor issues were dealt with promptly and professionally by the owners and I'd give them a 10 for their service.
The holiday bungalow site itself was quieter than expected and in fact an 'oasis of calm' well away from the extremely busy A3022 main road.
Yes I'd definitely look to re-book, should I return for a repeat holiday in the future.
