We very much enjoyed our stay. The place is done up very nicely with great attention to detail. The welcome pack we found was very generous and very much appreciated and enjoyed. The bed is comfortable and bathroom and kitchen in very good condition. Garden area is also very pretty. Surrounding area is beautiful. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at the cartlodge. We hadn't been to the area before and it was the perfect location for visiting many National Trust properties as well as other interesting places. The lodge itself is well appointed with a very comfy bed, lovely garden and view of the church. Only one suggestion, maybe the sofas in the living room could do with a change as they are very low and not ideal for anyone older or with back or knee problems. But apart from that 5 stars!

Beautiful luxury cottage and lovely welcome pack .
The only fault we found was that the sofas were very low and uncomfortable for us.

We enjoyed our stay at the Stoke Cartlodge very much. The accommodation was to a very high standard in a beautiful location. The owners were very friendly, helpful and kindly left us a thoughtful and generous welcome pack.

An ideal spot to explore this area. Cartlodge is a good size for 2 people. Very well equipped. Excellent handbook provided.
