Still used by the Bolitho Family, this much loved home is kept in immaculate condition with wonderful original features and is the most perfect house for large families or groups holidaying together and
special occasion get-togethers to be celebrated in style.

This was our book group's (nine women) fourth weekend stay at Trewidden House, a perfect venue in every way. Very sad that next year will be the last, but so glad to know there'll be one more visit. As ever, the house and bedrooms feel welcoming on every level -- beautifully appointed, comfortable, airy and light-filled, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully kitted out to create everything from simple meals to feasts. The wonderful gardens, colourful with woodland flowers and shrubs this time of year, is a bonus. Discreetly behind the scenes, ready to help in any way, is Lisa the efficient housekeeper. And before I forget, we always love the generous welcome basket of Cornish treats, savoury and sweet, plus the scones, eggs, milk and juices. Absolutely delightful!

An amazing retreat from the busy pace of life, tucked away in beautiful grounds, quiet and secluded; yet within easy reach of beaches, moorland and all the necessary shops. A perfect getaway for large family and friends gatherings.

For many of our group it was their first holiday in England. We fell in love with West Cornwall. Trewidden House is unique, the garden with its beautiful hydrangea bushes cannot be called a garden but can worthily be called a park. Thank you for your hospitality, the decor of the house is superb and excellent. Each room has its own charm. With comfortable beds we had very restful nights. The whole stay was completely relaxing. Thank you for your housekeeper. She was lovely and nice.
A small hint: there is only 1 shower in the whole house, all other bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs. But you can get along with that.
One thing is for sure: it won‘t be the last time we booked Trewidden House.

We booked Trewidden as it’s just down the road from where I live and seemed the perfect base to stay with 10 of our friends visiting from America. We all had the most perfect stay and also threw a vow renewal ceremony in the beautiful garden for my husband and I to celebrate 30 years together. The house is wonderful and Lisa the housekeeper is so kind and helpful. We are already planning another stay there again in the future.

This is a hidden gem so I am deliberately not going to give too much away...you will not be disappointed in any way. A step away from the hurly burly of modern life - just let the arms of the house wrap around you and enjoy!

This was our book group's third three-night stay at Trewidden (nine women). We couldn't be more pleased with the lovely eight bedrooms (comfy beds, luxurious linens, stunning views over the gardens), beautifully appointed reception rooms and fully equipped kitchen (plus convenient scullery) -- not to mention the masses of room in both wings of the house and the walking paths around the property. Airy, bright, cheery -- just perfect. Already looking forward to next year's retreat.
