This cottage for 8 is well set up for families. The seaside is approx 2kms down a quiet lane. You're local to wonderful crabbing, beach foraging, the coastal path, sand between your toes, boat trips to iconic Hurst Castle spit with it's amazing views of the Isle of Wight. Don't miss Milford village for foodie treats.

We spent 4 days at Field View Cottage and found everything about it perfectly charming. The cleanliness was superb. The kitchen was well stocked with useful cooking utensils. There was plenty of hot water. The living area was spacious and comfortable. The downstairs double with en suite gave an element of privacy from the upstairs. The garden was completely fenced so there were no dog worries and was immaculately kept. Easy 20 minute walk down into Milford where there is a good range of pubs and shops.

I really can't recommend this property higher!!

A lovely base for exploring the area. Lots to do nearby - coastal and Marsh walks, forest walks, gardens and tea rooms. Easy access to Isle of Wight.

Lovely well equipped cottage excellently situated for numerous south coast and New Forest attractions Numerous shops nearby and in neighbouring Lymington.

A cosy cottage. Well positioned for beaches and forest. Well equipped for young children. A hoover would have been useful!

We stayed 2 weeks. Communication before, during and after our stay was excellent. The cottage is spacious (we were 2 adults and 3 children (9, 6 and 3) and very well equipped.

We felt very at home and the kids loved the garden.

We had a really comfortable stay at Field View Cottage. The house is very well equipped and very well furnished and decorated with a lovely enclosed garden for a dog. The only thing that is worth mentioning is that the name of the cottage on the front door is Grange Cottage which is slightly confusing when trying to find it on arrival.
A big thank you to Jan who oversees the management of the property who was extremely helpful and easy to get on with.
We look forward to another visit.

We had a lovely weekend and the house was lovely and suited all our needs and was well equipped for young children.
Our only issues was that the fridge was far too small for a large family and the freezer was almost unused. It would have been better to put in 2 fridges, one with an ice box.

Loved our stay at Field View. Home is clean, comfortable and cosy and well equipped with everything we needed for our family and two small children. Well looked after by New Forest Escapes, excellent communication and personal service. The area is beautiful with beaches, coastal towns and the new forest all close by! Would stay again.

A fabulous cottage with everything we needed for a family weekend celebrating birthdays. Private chef Sophie for our Saturday night dinner was everything we had hoped for. She arrived with boxes of food and served us the most delicious meal and even did the washing up! Sophie’s cooking is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone staying in the area.
The cottage gave us the opportunity to explore the area on foot and also some short drives to the coast.
With two small children our evenings were spent playing the numerous board games in the house and enjoying the comfort of the cottage and the quiet surroundings.
A great place for family gatherings.

Stayed for midweek break. 2 adults, 86yr old mum and 2 teenage boys. Worked perfectly. Good quite location but 5 mins to shops and restaurants in Milford. Everything needed in kitchen to self cater. Bedrooms comfy, bathrooms nice and extra downstairs loo handy. The downstairs bedroom worked well for disabled mum. Garden would be great in nice weather

We had a gorgeous weekend at the house. It really is the perfect location for a gathering with friends or family. It’s beautifully decorated with lots of lovely personal touches.

This cottage is an average cottage in a good location. Whilst the kitchen was vey well equipped, the windows didn’t shut properly properly and cleanliness wasn’t 100%. The beds were lovely and clean and comfortable, but the kettle needed de-scaling!

We have spoken with our property manager for Field View who mentioned she had thoroughly checked everything before your arrival and did go back again on the day of your arrival. This is the 4th property we have rented in the New Forest with New Forest Escapes and although they are all excellent, this one was the best. Location is perfect, the house is incredibly comfortable and well equipped. We went with another family and we did a lot of cooking. We were all amazed about all the things in the kitchen, all so well thought out. The garden is lovely and relaxed. All the towels and bedding feel new and impeccable. They always have lovely touches, like cake and some basics (milk, oil....), and even a full jar of Nespresso capsules which we really enjoyed, rather than the usual 2 or 3 other rentals leave. I hope we can rent this same house again next time we go to the New Forest.

We really enjoyed exploring this corner of UK and found some fantastic places to eat out locally and lots to do outdoors - both on the coast and within New Forest

Lovely house in a good location. Great layout of rooms ... so good for All of us . With a downstairs bedroom too . So much to do the surrounding area . We took a ferry across to Hurst castle and walk back via the split. And enjoyed a fabulous day at Beaulieu, so much to do for all the family.

Perfect getaway.
I will rent with you again and I will be back in the area. So much beauty.
House was perfect for us.
I would only suggest of adding a couple of sunbeds to stay in the garden.
Other than that, we loved it!!!
