Great return cottage- well prepared and fitted out, and most importantly great heating for drying kit out, plenty of hot water and comfortable beds!

The Clachan annexe is exceptional - wonderfully located and an ideal base to have enabling you to travel and explore so much locally and so much more beyond.It is as stated above, so peaceful and relaxing - we woke to see a herd of red deer on four mornings of our stay not fifteen metres from the annexe - simply stunning! Having free access to Blair castle and the grounds there is an added bonus - we went twice and visited the castle seeing half of it one day and returning on another.The walks around the grounds are beautiful and it is simply stunning,well worth a visit. It was exactly what we were seeking, a new base, if you will, in that area that we know we can return to in the near future to explore further afield, as we have done on many occasions elsewhere all over the U,K,. Our only minor criticism would be a lack of cooking equipment - there are only two pans in the kitchen and its an induction hob - we just managed but this is not enough for any more than 2 occupants- it did limit us, to be honest, and we ate at The House of Bruar which we had not planned, as this made trying to cook, as we normally would, a little complicated.There need to be more pans, as a family,for example, would struggle to say the least- please put some more there! On the whole though, other than this minor "hiccup", Clachan annexe is truly exceptional, and we will be looking to book again for 2024 very soon!

We booked the Cottage, Annexe and Farmhouse for a family & friends getaway. The properties could not have been more perfect in terms of location and layout. We loved it as a base and the farmhouse kitchen worked brilliantly for dinner parties each evening! We will be returning!!

What a lovely tranquil stay we've just had at Clachan Annex. The location is perfect. Quiet with walks on your doorstep. Wildlife all around you. Blair Castle 10 minutes away by car and the House of Bruar for those special gifts and even groceries just 5 minutes away. The annex is much larger than it appears in the photos with everything you need for a comfy stay. The central heating was very noisy but a prompt maintenance visit seemed to settle it down. The only negative was that the pillows were a bit lumpy. Would highly recommend and this is my second visit to the cottages.

Second time we have stayed at Clachan and has been a great venue on both occasions. Accommodation was excellent.
Only points I would flag are: - The wi fi at times was fairly slow at times - We had understood and one of reasons for our return visit was to get a lift up to Bruar Lodge to be able to access the remoter peaks more easily. However when I tried to arrange was told no it was not was not possible which was disappointing.

A friend and I stayed in the annex with two other friends in the farmhouse. We didn’t use the annex kitchen or lounge but it looked very well equipped. The adjoining door upstairs had been opened up for us so we really only used the farmhouse facilities which were excellent. Thoroughly recommend the Annex which when opened up to the Farmhouse was exactly what we four friends were looking for.

Spacious and clean house, plenty of room for boots, coats and dog stuff. Kitchen was well-equipped and beds very comfortable. We had a lovely time exploring the local area and it was great coming back to such a nice house.

We have now stayed at the Clachan Annex several times and have to view it as our "home away from home" in Scotland. This particular time, our booking had some problems, because we made it over a year ago. However, Elisabeth Williams at Atholl Estates was extremely helpful in helping us and in getting those problems resolved and we were thoroughly able to enjoy our vacation as planned. We cannot thank her enough. The ratings that we provided are all well-deserved and we hope to stay in the Farmhouse and/or the Clachan Annex on our next visit.

Lovely stay at the farmhouse annex. Enjoyed the scenery and walks nearby. Appreciated the prompt and helpful responses from everyone at the Atholl Estate team. Also had a great time at the castle for the Parade and Games weekend. My thanks for a wonderful end to our Scotland adventure!

Lovely, quiet setting for this very comfortable accommodation. Close to great walks and facilities and free access to Blair Atholl castle and gardens. Would definitely stay again.
