Birch studio was small but perfect for one person staying the weekend. The heating was linited due to a boiler problem. An oil heater was provided and that helped to keep the studio warm.
The studio was very well equipped - this meant I was able to cook meals and relax of an evening.

I loved staying at Marcassie Farm Lodge. It is a beautiful, welcoming place with wonderful forests to explore nearby. A hidden treasure of a place. Betsy and Sven are very welcoming and helpful hosts. I would love to return as there is so much to discover in these parts. The Naturally Useful basketmaking business on the farm is most inspiring. Exquisite baskets are made here!

We had a lovely relaxing break here. Well situated to tour round the Moray coast. The studio itself was very clean on arrival and everything we needed for our stay was provided. My 2 main points for a good stay are a comfy bed and a good shower. These I am happy to say were both great. We would certainly stay here again in the future.
A beautiful and well-kept cottage, unfortunately a bit small for us.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Betsy, the lovely hostess. Great presentation of the cottage and Betsy explained everything to us. Well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, additional heating for the cold days was organized.
Betty gave us valuable information about the area and also lent us hiking maps.

We could not have been happier with our stay at Marcassie Farm! The setting is so beautiful, and all of the people we met there were friendly and engaging! This is a true gem of a location, and a wonderful "base" for exploration into the Highlands! Many thanks to Sven and Betsy for their hospitality! A wonderful experience!

The place was comfy pristine in its cleanliness and very well prepared with everything needed for our stay. The area surrounding is gorgeous with some amazing natural beuty. Betsy, the owner of the lodges was so welcoming and friendly and helpful in recommending places. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway in the highlands.

Spotless lodge in a nice and peaceful country site. Betsy and Sven were very kind and made us feel at home. Highly recommended, we will love to come back in a future holiday.

We enjoyed a great stay here as a family of 5 with 3 kids aged 15, 13 & 9. The lodges are brand new and well equipped. Beds are surprisingly very comfortable. It's a great base from which to do day trips to Cullen, Inverness, Loch Ness etc. Handy to have supermarkets a very short drive away. Its tranquil but exactly what we needed.
