We had a fabulous week at Compton Pool

The cottage was clean and warm with fabulous Christmas decorations to help us enjoy the festive holidays even more.

So much to do on site and great walks for dog walkers.

It’s our third time back and will definitely being back again soon!

Would recommend adding a Nespresso coffee machine to the Kitchen, for those like me that are coffee snobs!

An excellent short break with our daughter and grandchildren. The cottage was well equipped to a very high standard. The owners and staff were super friendly. The grandchildren were very happy with the beautiful indoor pool and the games room kept them entertained too.
Everything was supplied for a great holiday. A very peaceful location within a short distance from the coast.

I took Three foster children away and teak of them have never been on holiday before so it was very exciting.
Everyday the boys enjoyed a couple of hours in the pool.
The games room was well used by the older teenagers. The animals was were perfect for my SEN child.
I was just what we wanted but a shame we couldn’t stay longer.
The owners and staff are very friendly and Crazywell was perfect for us.
We would love to return!

What did you enjoy most about Compton Pool?
All of it but the boys would say the swimming pool.

I think they have it just right.

The quietness of Compton pool is apparent as soon as you arrive. Set in the countryside and yet only 5miles from the riviera by car. Facilities are fantastic with swimming pool, tennis courts, games room, mini gym all of which were enjoyed by all members of the party (ages 51,50,22,20&20)For any younger individuals the play area was great and food is thoughtfully provided to feed the goats and pigs. My parents aged 74 & 70) stayed in another cottage and thoroughly enjoyed their stay too. The hosts Debbie and Paul are lovely and live on site should there be any issues, but give you the privacy required. There is a very nice pub with restaurant an easy walk, less than a mile through lanes one way and Compton castle and a cafe serving delicious ploughman’s, paninis and cakes less than half a mile the other way (cafe is licensed too, perfect on a sunny day!) a really lovely stay in a lovely, well equipped cottage, can thoroughly recommend.

The quietness, swimming pool and tennis courts.

Debbie was very welcoming on our arrival and Sue and Mark were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We found the entire complex and facilities very well managed by Mark and Sue’s attention to detail in supervising the work in the cottages superb.

Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean. Great swimming pool with lovely changing rooms. My daughter loved feeding the goats, it was a nice touch to have a few bags of the goat feed in the cottage. The main bedroom had a comfy bed better than hotel beds.

How clean it was in a beautiful setting.

Door mat in cottage bit of a trip hazard, it is also fitted the wrong way round.
