Once again Great North Lodges was AMAZING! We use them regularly and they never let us down, every property is fantastic, great location, clean, comfortable and creates a lovely atmosphere for the perfect weekend away.

Hot tub, table tennis table and garden were great for a sunny weekend and the social areas great for sitting, chilling and chatting!

We will be back again, and again oh and probably again :)

An absolutely lovely lodge. Everything you’d need provided. Cozy and comfortable with , super comfy beds.
Very spacious inside and out.
Fantastic outdoor space in garden perfect for children . The back gate leading onto the woods perfect for a stroll or dog walk .
The area is also perfect good shop nearby and has, also a restaurant and pizza takeaway.
Bike hire with cycle route into Aviemore.
Oh and mustn’t forget the hot tub
Pine ridge lodge is just the perfect place to Stay and relax or be more adventurous in the beautiful area. I hope to go back

We booked Pine Ridge Lodge as a family holiday during autumn and had a superb week considering we had travelled north through storm Ciaran to get to the lodge. There were so many things to do from walks and cycling to just enjoying the peaceful surroundings and wildlife close to the lodge. We especially enjoyed the hot tub at the end of a busy day. We really did not want to leave and could happily have stayed for at least another week!

Pine Ridge Lodge is an excellent family base in the Cairngorms; spacious and comfortable and well equipped with everything you would need for an enjoyable stay - including hot tub! Numerous local walks and more energetic activities on the doorstep for all ages, and Aviemore and other towns and villages easily accessible. Next year's break is booked already!

What an amazing week we had at Pine Ridge Lodge. The accommodation was very special, warm and welcoming.
The beds were super comfy and all our needs were catered for. We also really enjoyed watching the wildlife around the Lodge.
Hopefully we will be able to return again in the future.

Watch the sunrise from the balcony, out for a 7 mile walk, car not needed. Late lunch at the Nethy bridge coffee shop. Home to the hot tub to ease the muscles. Dinner and watch the sunset. Collapse into a warm comfy bed! What’s not to like. Totally enjoyed the facilities of the house. In a beautiful situation surrounded by amazing walks. Property maybe slightly tired, but so was I at the end of the day!

I love this lodge!!
The location is superb and the lodge and grounds are perfect for what I (and my dog) need.
Some may consider the internals to be a little dated but it is so comfortable and welcoming and has all the amenities, facilities and equipment you could want. The only thing I bring with me is my own pillow but that is purely down to my preference for memory foam over feather.

A very happy week at pine ridge lodge. The house was well equipped and the hot tub was wonderful! Could do with carpeting upstairs, as the wooden floors were a bit cold and noisy, but otherwise very happy.

Superb and we’re just about to book again from next year.
Superb value, ample outdoor spaces and really interesting , 100% secure, garden for our 2 large energetic dogs.
This enabled us to relax and enjoy the various sun traps around the huge garden. Worth being up early and enjoying the course of wild life from the balcony. Rear gate allows direct access to the wooded trails and the various walks from the lodge are first class.
Due to the layout the bedrooms are very private and individual The charming interior is well furnished, and consistent with a lodge of its age. Some minor changes if it was ours would be more outdoor dining crockery and the charming open shed at the bottom of the garden could do with a clean.
Overall- a gem of a find and one we can see ourselves rebooked each year.
As always GNL were instrumental in matching our needs to the property and their customer service is second to none.

Pine Ridge Lodge is perfectly located within the Spey Valley allowing easy access to many walking & cycling routes. It has the added attraction of the heritage railway.
The property itself is well equipped and proved an excellent base for a group of 8 active adults.

This was our 3rd time at Pine Ridge Lodge. We go with our friends and dogs and it is just perfect. It really is a home from home place to stay. The setting is beautiful and the garden safe for dogs to play and roam. There are walks from the doorstep and lots to do in the area. I’m sure we will be back again.

Our second visit to this property .
Great location.
Short walk to "The Boat " restaurant and bar.
Right on the Speyside Way .Great for cycling and walking.
Loch Vaa and woodland walks on the doorstep.
Short drive to Aviemore . Or steam train from Boat of Garten Station.
"Pump Track " for cycles , just up the road.
We wanted to do next year again , but our week isn't available.
Lovely property . Go for it .

I would definitely recommend this lodge for comfort and space. The lodge had everything. I always travel with my coffee machine but I didn’t need to as there was one there and even some coffee pods. Couldn’t have asked for a better replacement to the lodge we initially booked. This one was even better. Best of all was the garden as we were going with dogs and they loved it and to top it off the wood walk just out of the back gate was fantastic. The run was a bit of needle in a haystack, hopefully we got them all.

What can we say? Another fantastic holiday in the Cairngorms, and another amazing lodge hosted by Great North Lodges.
Pine Ridge was cozy and a fantastic base for exploring the near by woods. As always the hot tub was well used and thoroughly enjoyed after a long day out hiking.
The stove was excellent to have on the colder days of the week while we were there. Can’t wait for our next trip already!

We enjoyed the most amazing long weekend at Pine Ridge Lodge, as a much-anticipated family birthday celebration delayed from Nov 2020 due to COVID (GNL customer service during the pandemic was excellent).
The lodge was clean, comfortable, cosy and so well equipped with everything you could possibly need to enjoy a really relaxing stay. The location is fantastic, with beautiful views across to Glenmore and a variety of walks right on the doorstep to keep energetic dogs and children happy. We had 2 great meals at the Boat Hotel which is a less than 10min walk along Kinchurdy Road, as is the well-stocked Post Office & General Store.
We definitely plan to return as a family, as soon as possible, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it :-)

Lovely house in a great location, comfortable lounge and comfortable beds Only a couple of things need upgrading listed below. They may sound trivial but very frustrating.

We were a family of 9 with a 6month old baby and high chair provided with the property is not suitable for a baby under 12/15 months. Fortunately after a call to GNL they were able to obtain another one.

Some of the cooking equipment needs upgrading, in particular the frying pan, far to small, and doesn’t work very well on the induction hob as it’s not heavy enough.

Very minor upgrades but would make a difference.

The location of this property is fantastic - whether for skiing, getting out and about in the area or for great dog walks.
It was comfy for 2 adults and 3 dogs and although it can accommodate more adults, the space may then become a little tight.
Garden is enclosed and well established with a fab sitooterie for warmer days
The hot tub outside needs a shelter to get to / from for the cooler / wet occasions but is a great addition, a sauna would be even better!
The standard of accommodation is good but the double we used needed a topper - it was quite uncomfortable but an extra duvet sufficed
The lodge has all the equipment you need for a great stay, books to select from a choice of music and DVDs
Overall a fab week of excursions and a great place to come home to, comfy and warm!
Will be back!

We enjoyed our second stay at Pine Ridge Lodge. It's an excellent venue for extended family as the house is big enough for everyone to have space whilst enjoying sharing the lounge and hot tub.
