New from 2020, we have a 6 Berth Deluxe Bungalow; Ocean Crest It has been fully refurbished to the same high spec standard as the single and double roundhouses.

This property comprises of 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 1 with two single beds, lounge/dining area with dining table & chairs, settee, flat screen TV, with patio doors leading out to a patio area with picnic bench.

The bathrooms have a double walk-in shower unit, sink and toilet. The main bedrooms having a double bed with wardrobes, dressing table and a flat screen TV, and a large modern fully equipped kitchen with integrated oven, hob & microwave plus a fee standing fridge-freezer.

As always a very enjoyable stay. We normally book the round houses but this was a very last minute booking, the inside of the bungalow was lovely, very spacious and comfortable, how ever it smelt very fusty and damp, but it is in a very shady position, the outside needs a good clean.

All good except water was boiling hot and impossible to go under shower. Mentioned to Reception on second day but no action taken. Otherwise lovely area and good accommodation.

Hermanus is a lovely base to stay and explore Norfolk. The staff are friendly and the on site restaurant serves lovely meals and Sunday roast.
The accommodation was great and clean. The only issue we had was that the shower temperature was extremely difficult to regulate. Someone came in to look at the shower the day we arrived and was supposed to return on the Monday but we did not see any change with the shower itself. The temperature was very hot at times which made it difficult for my young children to shower in.
Other than that everything else was great. We have stayed at Hermanus before and would definitely stay again.

Loved our stay. We had a terrific time and this is my 7th year visiting you.
My only negative is a personal one, I suffer from arthritis in both hips so found it difficult to pack and unpack the car as you can not take your vehicle near enough to the bungalow.

We have been visiting Hermanus for nearly 20 years and have stayed in most of the various accommodation options. For this visit there were 6 adults and a newborn baby and we could not have been happier with the space, style and setting of the crest chalet. The rooms were all freshly decorated and newly carpeted and the green areas front and back provided the tranquility we needed. We had fathers day lunch in the restaurant and that too was great. We did not use the pool on this occasion. Although we only booked for a Friday to Monday stay, we were all so relaxed we would have loved to stay longer.

Just back from a 2 night break, and wish it could have been longer. The bungalow was modern clean and tidy the only thing we found lacking was a coat rack. This wasn't a problem for us as the weather was good but could be if the Great British weather strikes. The beds were so comfy we all now want to go out and buy new mattresses.
We ate in the restaurant and the food was very tasty.
Overall a lovely time made possible by the friendly staff.

I would happily recommend the Deluxe Bungalows and the location because both were excellent; however, I would not recommend visiting during February because the restaurant and all facilities were closed, which I believe was not clearly advertised on their website (You have to find it) Reception recommended a fantastic local pub, which made up for it:) We had a great time and would definitely go back. Deer walked past our windows several times:)

Windows and sills were very dirty outside!
Toilet had brown stains at bottom of bowl no toilet brush! After first night had to change bedrooms as electric box started buzzing at 1-30 ish am ! However this wouldn’t stop us from returning!

Had a fantastic family holiday staying in the six berth Crest but also 2 of the Four berth round houses
Our only issues were that the bungalow was not very clean on arrival namely hand prints on the front doors sand and food on the outdoor table and steps which we had to clean
Also our toilet blocked Monday evening and we were unable to get it sorted until the following day because there was no way of getting an urgent response
On mentioning this the following day nobody seemed bothered
We luckily were able to use other family members toilet
I think an emergency contact in the guest manual would have helped rather than telling us to go up to reception to look for a number that wasn’t there
However despite these issues we had a great time particularly the use of the outdoor pool and thre fantastic setting
Our complaint is only to advise of the issues we had and leave it to you to make any changes you feel will improve customer cay
We would fully recommend anybody to visit Hermanus Holidays as overall we have had the best time

A small but lovely site, bungalow not overlooked but a good size and ideal for our family. A short walk to the beach. Great pub nearby.
