We were hoping for peaceful, comfortable accommodation, and Swallows Lodge was all of that and far more! The lodge was spacious, well-furnished and spotlessly clean. There were many thoughtful touches such as a welcome tray with delicious lemon drizzle cake, milk in the fridge, cleaning products and cloths in the kitchen. The lodges are set in idyllic surroundings overlooking a beautiful trout pond where we saw kingfisher and other wildlife, and with views over the surrounding countryside. We were welcomed with delicious cake and made ourselves comfy straightaway. We had great weather and even managed a couple of breakfasts on the verandah watching the trout in the small lake and enjoying the views. Located in easy reach of Norwich, Southwold, Minsmere, Sutton Hoo and more we were in a great location that was away from the noise of everyday life. If you want a relaxing break then this is the place to be.
